scratch that voids (top right)

I am really upset leaving this store this morning. i purchased a screen from them which they told me was under warranty. The gentleman who assisted me assured me if it malfunctioned they would replace it. Well, it started malfunctioning a few weeks in after the replacement (I got this replaced in Oct 2025). I called them and they said I can bring it in if it keeps happening, I tried to wait it out because it would happen sporadically (when i use the keyboard, it would type random letters I never pressed and I would be writing out a text and it would erase my whole text as though i hit the "undo" button). In these last few weeks it's been worse and it's even called people when I am simply trying to text them... I really needed to get it fixed because it's affecting my work. I took it in at 10am when they opened, the gentleman said he would run tests and if it continues to have issues they would fix it. Perfect, sounds reasonable to me. He told me it would be about an hour or so. I went to do a few errands and never got a callback, I left them my work line to call. After an hour and a half (11:35am), I came back and there was another gentleman who came out and told they cannot replace the screen or help me because the phone is damaged with a scratch (see attached photo of scratch, again this is not a CRACK and a small scratch). Never was I told a scratch would affect my warranty. I am so upset because not only was I not given this information, they had me out for an hour and half when they could have looked at the phone when I first brought it in or called me and told me they couldn't help me. This is seriously so misleading and upsetting. Why couldn't anyone call me and tell me before I wasted my time waiting for them to reach out to me? I am providing a photo of the scratch that voids my warranty and as anyone can see, it's not a significant crack or else, I would understand how this might affect the keyboard. I took this photo immediately after leaving the store. In addition, the scratch is at the TOP of the screen, how does this affect the keyboard located at the bottom? I am including a video I took of the phone glitching when I am texting so management can see what I am referring to. I am extremely upset and need this to get to management and I expect a full explanation please.

I never leave any bad reviews ever !! However I'm a very unhappy customer well was a customer now I should say it. I had a great experience the first time. However I dropped off one of my sons blue tablets no scratch at all when I retrieved it they said it was fixed but how would you know it was fix if you replace the charging port then turn it on to see if it works instead of returning the tablet back to me with 3 scratches on it and then when I called they acted like it was turned it that way and it wasn't my son is 3 by way if it was a older kid I can see them breaking it but not my youngest son. When I called to make a complaint they acted like it was my fault but it wasn't when my husband went to retrieve it it was even more cracked then before probably because they didn't like how I was right and they were wrong on their end. I will provide video proof of how more broken it was. I normally don't care if something happens to be in a place of establishment but don't mess with my kids is another story, also when dropping off my tablets !! They were unable to find them couldn't find me or my husband number ridiculous I called two times to find my kids tablets. Update as of now one of my kids charging ports no longer works after it was replaced. So now instead of taking my back to get fix I would just buy a new one since this experience left a sour taste in my mouth to trust any future technicians to fix any of my electronics anymore.

No scratch either
