My Pixel developed a swollen battery while still under warranty. The expanding battery pushed against the screen, causing it to bend and display lines. I took it to this authorized Google repair location expecting to discuss my warranty options. Instead, the staff repeatedly told me they could not repair it "per Google's guidelines." I kept asking clarifying questions, because it wasn't much of an explanation. Why wouldn't a swollen battery be not not covered, I never received a clear explanation beyond that same repeated statement. What made the experience especially frustrating was being told immediately afterward that they could repair the phone out-of-pocket for around $500. This left me wondering: if the phone is physically repairable, why is it ineligible for a warranty repair? Whether there is a legitimate policy reason or not, no one explained it to me. I also asked for documentation, such as a diagnosis, notes, or any paperwork I could review later to discuss with Google directly. The staff refused to provide anything unless I opened a paid repair ticket. Since a $500 repair was not economically reasonable, I declined. I left with no documentation, no clear explanation of the diagnosis, and no guidance on my next steps. My disappointment is not that they could not perform the warranty repair if Google's policies genuinely prevented it. Total crooks. I innocently walked in today because I was having trouble charging my phone. They took it in the back for 10 minutes and then came back out and stated that I needed a new charger port. I asked how much? They said $299 but if I join their "plan" only $99. This made me suspicious because it sounded like a sales pitch. Took my Nintendo 3DS XL a few months back to get the upper LED screen repaired. I called ahead before going to see if they'd be able to repair it. Cost $200, but the weird thing was they charged me before the repair. Then I get a call a few days later saying I need to come by and pick up my DS because they actually don't have the parts to fix it. I pick up the DS, and they assure me I'll get a full refund by 7 days. 10 days go by and I have to call them to REMIND THEM that they need to process the refund. They seem too shady. I would recommend to avoid this place, took my phone here to get checked, got charge my phone was working when I left and when I got back home my phone stopped working came back the next day to get my phone checked again just for these fools to say phone is no good and charge me again. I am really upset leaving this store this morning. i purchased a screen from them which they told me was under warranty. The gentleman who assisted me assured me if it malfunctioned they would replace it. Well, it started malfunctioning a few weeks in after the replacement (I got this replaced in Oct 2025). I called them and they said I can bring it in if it keeps happening, I tried to wait it out because it would happen sporadically (when i use the keyboard, it would type random letters I never pressed and I would be writing out a text and it would erase my whole text as though i hit the "undo" button). In these last few weeks it's been worse and it's even called people when I am simply trying to text them... I really needed to get it fixed because it's affecting my work. I took it in at 10am when they opened, the gentleman said he would run tests and if it continues to have issues they would fix it. Perfect, sounds reasonable to me. He told me it would be about an hour or so. I went to do a few errands and never got a callback, I left them my work line to call. After an hour and a half (11:35am), I came back and there was another gentleman who came out and told they cannot replace the screen or help me because the phone is damaged with a scratch (see attached photo of scratch, again this is not a CRACK and a small scratch). Never was I told a scratch would affect my warranty. I am so upset because not only was I not given this information, they had me out for an hour and half when they could have looked at the phone when I first brought it in or called me and told me they couldn't help me. This is seriously so misleading and upsetting. Why couldn't anyone call me and tell me before I wasted my time waiting for them to reach out to me? I am providing a photo of the scratch that voids my warranty and as anyone can see, it's not a significant crack or else, I would understand how this might affect the keyboard. I took this photo immediately after leaving the store. In addition, the scratch is at the TOP of the screen, how does this affect the keyboard located at the bottom? I am including a video I took of the phone glitching when I am texting so management can see what I am referring to. Went in to get a screen replacement that is covered under Google's Extended Warranty for a known issue where the screen turns green. https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/15009955?hl=en The employee took my phone to the back and when he returned came back with a deep scratch on it phone and said that due the scratch they could not complete the replacement. I have photos of my from that very morning in order to document the Green Screen issue with Google and there is no scratch on it. So the employee, in order to not do the repair under warranty, scratched my phone. If you go DO NOT LET THEM TAKE YOUR DEVICE TO THE BACK ROOM!! Their customer service is polite, but that's about the only positive thing I can say. When it comes to honoring manufacturer warranties especially Samsung warranties they're completely unhelpful. Instead of assisting with valid warranty claims, they immediately try to upsell you on out-of-pocket repair costs or push insurance plans through their own company. While waiting, I witnessed two different customers arguing with employees about poor repair work and lack of follow-through. That was a huge red flag for me. Overall, I would not recommend going to this business for any warranty-related service. I took my Nintendo Switch in to replace my LCD display. After I received my Switch back, I noticed there are now particles and dust inside the screen all of a sudden. Evidently, it was not cleaned well during the repairs. I attempted to take it back in to ubreakifix for them to remedy the issue, but they informed me that I would have to make a new claim with the Asurion plan and that they were not responsible. They are responsible; the particles are within the LCD display/touch screen. Asurion refuses to cover the damage which was done by their own shop, because it "falls outside the coverage period." The shop does not take accountability because they seem to believe they can make more money through a claims process. Do not fall for their Asurion model pyramid scheme. The repair was shoddy, and the experience was terrible. read more

This place is a joke. They find the smallest thing to tell you that the warranty won't cover the problem. I was there for 10 min and they had the same speach for 2 other customers. Then they immediately give you a quote for out of pocket. Which usually cost half the price of your phone. You think they are after your best interest. It is more like they make money with our without warranty. Pretty big scam best to just wait for an upgrade or buy a cheap phone until then or better yet buy a refurbished phone Amazon or eBay until you can get a brand new one. Dishonest business that doesn't respect your time. I called for a quote to replace a battery for my phone and they said they had a promo for $65. I asked to proceed but they said I had to go in in person to start a work order. So I took time out of my day to visit and they had one person working there with one customer in front of me. I waited about 20 minutes to be helped and the guy told me I had to join their service plan for $40 a month with a minimum of two months, so $145 total. Their normal price without the "promo" is $150. Could have been upfront about the cost on the phone but basically lied about the price just to waste my time. I asked around local repair shops afterward and they all quotes $50~$60. Never coming here again. read more

We took my husband's Samsung Z flip phone to this place to get the screen fixed. They fixed it once for $400 (when we were giving the money) and told us that within the year if it happens again, it would be covered under their warranty. After a couple of months. The screen stopped working again, and we took it to them thinking it is under warranty and they will be able to fix it especially when they had the part to begin with. We took our phone to them and they said that they are unable to fix it because of the outside scratches on the phone and they did not honor their warranty. They did not fix our phone. We had to transfer data from our broken phone to a new phone, but we were unable to do that and I lost a lot of business and a lot of clients information because of their in flexibility of not fixing our phone. Beyond impressed by the service here! I came in to repair my broken screen and they replaced it in literally 10 minutes. The only thing I had to make sure to do for my iphone was disable find my from settings before coming in to the store. In the directions it says it needs to be off for at least an hour but it still worked when I turned it off 30 minutes before coming into the store. I also didn't need to pay a dime because my phone was covered by Asurion with verizon so it was really fast, easy, and great service! 10 minutes... that's crazy! Thank you! read more

I never leave any bad reviews ever !! However I'm a very unhappy customer well was a customer now I should say it. I had a great experience the first time. However I dropped off one of my sons blue tablets no scratch at all when I retrieved it they said it was fixed but how would you know it was fix if you replace the charging port then turn it on to see if it works instead of returning the tablet back to me with 3 scratches on it and then when I called they acted like it was turned it that way and it wasn't my son is 3 by way if it was a older kid I can see them breaking it but not my youngest son. When I called to make a complaint they acted like it was my fault but it wasn't when my husband went to retrieve it it was even more cracked then before probably because they didn't like how I was right and they were wrong on their end. I will provide video proof of how more broken it was. I normally don't care if something happens to be in a place of establishment but don't mess with my kids is another story, also when dropping off my tablets !! They were unable to find them couldn't find me or my husband number ridiculous I called two times to find my kids tablets. Update as of now one of my kids charging ports no longer works after it was replaced. Horrible service. They upsold me into buying the membership but ended up ruining my phone instead. Now they said too bad, that I should buy a new phone. Avoid this place and do not buy the insurance. It is a scam. They will ruin your phone!!I went in for a malfunctioning screen on a Samsung Flip 5. The original quote was like $290. The sales guy upsold me to the Asurion plan and said for $58 more and $30 a month, he would also install a new battery. My original battery worked fine, but I went for it anyways. As the sale guy put it, i would have a new phone. The new battery would only last 3 hours, vs my original battery that lasted over 20 hours. I made several calls. Final i went back to the store, only to be told by an employee who only told me his name as Patrick, that they did not have batteries in stock, and that they would need to order one, and that once ordered, they arrived in 5 days. But before they could order a battery, they needed to test it. Patrick said I needed to leave the phone, and they would test it in 3 days. I told him that was absurd. Who can be without their phone. I asked if I could make an appointment, and he said no. I asked him if I could drop off the phone tomorrow, and he said the 3 days start from when I drop off the phone. Then I asked if i dropped of my phone, and then picked it up when they closed, and proceeded to drop it off again the next morning so I would not be entirely without a phone. Again, he said no. After much confusion, I had no choice but to drop it off. Within 3 hours, Patrick called me to tell me the phone was ready and that they replaced the battery with a new one. I was skeptical, and upon inspecting the phone, you could tell it had never been opened. The battery continued to die after just 3 hours. I went back to the store again and told them the battery was still dying early. Patrick told me that they would either replace the mother board or get me a new phone, but that I needed to leave it with them. I was travelling for a few weeks, starting the next day, so I decided not to leave the phone, and told Patrick I would drop off the phone when I came back. Today I went back to the store, and Patric said they do not replace mother boards, and there was nothing they could do for me, that I needed to buy a new phone. I tried to explain to Patrick that this was unacceptable, and that I never even wanted a new battery. I reminded him that my mother board worked fine before they changed out the battery. He just kept telling me there was nothing He could do. He was pretty rude and just kept grinning all the time. read more

Horrible customer service here. I took my laptop to get it fixed and they had me sign up for Asurion to help reduce the cost of the repair. I paid for the membership and then was told that they were unable to fix my laptop. When I requested my laptop and charger back they could not find my charger. They attempted to give me two older looking chargers thinking I would be okay with this. Then the tall guy began to get upset at me for requesting my item back instead of just taking one of the old chargers. DO NOT TAKE ANY DEVICE THERE FOR REPAIR: I was sold ASURION for my new computer because after transferring from my old computer my new one two much space was used and may have some junk the background. I made an appointment for the next day (Tuesday) T 10am, I arrived on time and as I was struggling to get my computer in the door when two people walked in before me and so I was left standing around while they helped walk ins before me with an appointment, so making an appointment with them means nothing. They said that the service was not covered I showed him the paper stating it was covered by Asurion, He took my information and said it would be ready in two days, and they would call me. On Thursday I went there since they said it would be ready. NOT READY! Said it would be ready in two hours, since it was raining heavy, I did not return on Thursday. I called on Friday (now 4 days) and after a long hold on the phone (they were having trouble locating it) I was told it would be taken care of when it came up in the queue. But, I was welcome to come and pick it up because they had no idea when it would come up in the Queue. All in all DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. read more

I took my Pixel to this shop to have the screen replaced because half of the screen was not picking up touch. After I picked it up and took it home I removed the "opaque" protective sticker that they left on the screen and found a dead black spot and a horizontal line running across the screen from it. I was told to take the phone back have it fixed again because they have a 1 year hassle free warranty on their repairs. They flat out refused to replace the broken screen, claiming that the issue with the screen was not covered in their warranty and they claimed that I was the one that caused the damage. I explained that I expected the screen to be replaced per their warranty on their website, but the rep said that the site was not accurate because they are a franchise?!?! All I did was take the phone home and remove the protective sticker and found the dead black spot of the screen and the horizontal line running through the screen. I did not have a new screen protector at the time, so that is why I left their protective sticker on it to take it home. I explain to the rep that the only thing I did was remove the sticker and found the new screen to be defective. When I asked to see the details of the warranty, which were not explained when I picked up the phone, they said that they don't have the policy in writing to prove to me that the issue was not covered by their warranty. The rep made me and my wife feel like we were trying to scam them, which is ridiculous because I was the one that ended up paying for a broken screen! They also said if you want to repair the screen you need to pay it again. DO NOT take your Pixel to this shop!!! This place is a scam!! This is a franchised store so they don't follow what their official website say. Just ship it straight to Google, it will be cheaper anyways. read more
