The store opens at 10 am on Sunday, she walked in at 5 after and said their employee, Richard, just ignored her. When she got his attention his first "greeting" was, "We're closed." When my wife pointed out the store had officially opened at least 5 minutes ago, his next response was a brusque, "What do you need?" She goes on to explain how her phone quit working and would like some assistance. The account is actually under my name and I was unfortunately elsewhere at the time, but when Richard found out she wasn't a user on the account he said he couldn't help her and that she should just leave. Meanwhile, another employee emerged from the back room and was equally dismissive. My wife left that store in tears, but not before letting them know how awful their service was. She then went across town to the store on Hover, where she was politely greeted, helped, and ultimately purchased a new phone. It took all of a few minutes to have me add her as an account user, I was able to do it remotely via the AT&T app. Her experience at that store was the polar opposite of what she got at the Ken Pratt location. I, for one, will NEVER shop at or recommend the Ken Pratt location to anyone I know, and their employees should be absolutely ashamed of how poorly they treated my wife. Here's a little tip for you guys from an actual professional who honors and takes client relationships seriously: if your job involves customer service in any way, shape, or form, but you can't find it in yourself to be remotely respectful to the people you serve, it's time to do the world a favor and quit. At a minimum, hopefully this store's manager is paying attention and will do something about the shameful events that took place there today.

Horrible experience…read more Bought a new Iphone there a couple months ago. The phone would not play music files while connected to a car. Took it in for help and instead of replacing the phone, they attempted to repair it. I first had to wipe my phone and restore it without using a backup. I lost all of my historical texts and data. When that didn't fix the problem, I returned to the store. They still would not replace it and opted to replace two pieces of hardware instead. I left my phone with them overnight. When I went in to pick it up, the case was missing. The person helping me refused to acknowledge the problem and just kept telling me that they "don't keep personal property". He said he would check lost and found and the security footage. I urged him to do just that. He came back saying there was nothing in lost and found and that there was nothing he could do. I told him I'd like a new case. He said he couldn't do that. I asked if he checked the security footage and he told me "I can't check the footage". He lied to my face. I had to speak with a manager before anyone would offer to replace my case. Of course, after I took it home and tried to put it on, I found out it was the wrong case. That was just the beginning of my problems though. Apparently the repair required that they wipe my phone and we had to start over from scratch again. When I tried to log into my Apple ID to restore my account at the store this time, it was locked. They had no way of unlocking it. There was nothing I did that should have locked it. Either the repair triggered the account lock or it was done intentionally. Either way, I had no way of recovering my account. They couldn't even add my carrier again. Funny, they don't have that problem when you're BUYING a phone... My only option was to go home and try to do it where I could access email so I could initiate an account recovery. Once I started the recovery process, I was prompted that it would take 1-3 days before I would even get instructions on how to access my ID. Even Applecare could not help but they did tell me that the initial 24hrs is just to get a *status* which would only tell me how many more *days* I have to wait. So while I was able to get my carrier transferred, I still cannot access my apps, passwords, etc. And because I can't restore from iCloud backup and have no music on my phone right now, I still can't test to see if the original repair even worked. But they were sure quick to tell me that if this latest repair doesn't work that I'm "out of options". Without my apple ID, I can't download apps, even to use temporarily. I'm Fire/EMS. My department uses an app to communicate critical information to us like nature of call and patient location. They use a different app for important announcements and internal coordination. I can't use any of that right now. All I did was take a brand-new phone I purchased a few months ago in for a repair to the same store I bought it from and did exactly what they told me to do. But they have the audacity to lie to my face about security footage to insinuate that I'm the one lying to them and tell me they won't do anything more if this repair doesn't fix the problem. An absolute nightmare. Update: After waiting 24hrs to get a status, its now telling me I have to wait another 13 days before they will reset my Apple ID. Thanks Boulder Apple I don't know what happened to Apple. They used to be so customer focused. If any of their products were bad, they replaced them no questions asked. Now I'm sorry I ever bought an Iphone.

Most…read morereviews for both ATT and Verizon are so horrible and nightmarish that it's anxiety provoking when considering switching phone service. I have been with ATT for a long time but moved to Longmont about a year ago and my cellphone reception has been spotty at best - sometimes I simply can't make or receive a phone call in my home but I could when I first moved here and for several months. I came to this ATT store to assess what might be the source or sources of my problem. The service tech who helped me was down right efficient, smart, responsive and offered a wonderful customer service can-do attitude. He found several issues that would likely be part of the problem, solved them and welcomed me back if what he did didn't make the difference I needed. I never felt like I was a bother to him or like he had something more important to do. What he did didn't quite solve the whole issue but it did improve the reception some. I will go back and see what else can be done. I wish I remembered his name because I do think it matters who you get to help you. Luck of the draw!

I went in for help with a locked SIM and was told the employee couldn't unlock it or even take a payment, only to return the next day and have a different employee take a payment--clearly inconsistent and incorrect information. I was repeatedly told to "call customer service," despite the fact that my SIM was locked and I couldn't make calls. AT&T locked my SIM due to a device balance, (I was switching to T Mobile and T-Mobile had already agreed to pay it off when I switched). As a result, AT&T left me without a working phone for two days. I spent nearly an hour on hold, on their landline in store, without reaching a real person and was told it could take up to four days total to restore service. This situation was incredibly stressful and inconvenient. The customer service was unhelpful, inconsistent, and dismissive. I will never use AT&T again and strongly caution others about using AT&T. They just want every last dime and don't care about your experience at all.
