We have 3 people on our account and a few weeks ago we got new phones from this store. We were not aware that it is NOT an authorized store!! The service was good, but we were over charged for the phones and we have been disputing this since May. We have filed a dispute and are still dealing with the problems. Do not use this store, there is another a little farther from this store that is authorized. Verizon is very uncooperative and we have spent hours trying to solve this mess. read more

I have been shopping around for a new phone service and I notice that they all seem to get a bad wrap. I am taking time when I really don't have any extra time to write this review because I have had nothing but excellent service at the two different Verizon stores I have gone to: this one and one in Aurora. I am totally impressed with and pleased by the knowledge, efficiency and overall great service I have benefited from each time I've gone to these stores. I'd love to give zero stars. Mersaides is the "solutions specialists" that didn't help us. It took over three times for us to tell her our issue. I asked her to call the Verizon number that called us, she couldn't understand why that would be helpful oh umm maybe because Verizon called us from this number. It's called investing. After several minutes of being ignored by her she finally confirmed our issue. When I motioned with relief she blew up and says she's trying to help, I told her not to try and to help. Awesome!!! My 80 something Mom was sold all kinds of techy stuff and charged for 2 extra lines to use them from one of those "non Verizon" outlet stores! The techy stuff has been sitting in her drawer for months and she started get bills for hundreds of dollars. I didn't expect to get any help on this but I thought I'd try going in with her here in Longmont. Lorenzo, the manager or something took care of the whole thing for her! He went to bat for my mom with this other company and got them to waive those ridiculous charges and "early cancellation" fees on those 2 lines she never used! Who does that? I recently had to replace my lost phone, and was pleased to see that there was a small Verizon store just around the corner from me - the Go Wireless store on north Hover. I equated small and close with good service and less wait time than the bigger, more busy stores. Boy was I wrong! Up-sell City. I had hoped to replace my phone with the same generation, which is still available and only one or two generations old. My request to stay with something simple and less high-tech but that met my needs was met with 50 reasons why that was not possible. Apparently one-generation old phones no longer exist anywhere in the world (or the salesperson does not get a commission from selling them?). I ultimately upgraded from what I had, as my only other option seemed to be going with a totally different software platform than what I had used for years, and I knew I didn't have the time or desire to learn it. I gave it a good go for a week and went back in begging to either go with something else or get some kind of guidance to make this new, wonderful phone more palatable to me. The second salesperson was AWFUL. He was abrasive and condescending (but THOUGHT he was hilarious) and made me feel like an idiot. He was "helping" an elderly gentleman who also wanted simplicity, who picked a simple but perfectly good phone for his purposes, and was told "That's a half step from a disposable phone. I'll see you and your disposable phone back here in 9 months or less" (to which the man responded, "No you won't." I was very impressed!). -I finally acted as if I loved my new phone just to get out of the store, then went to the big south Hover Verizon store just to get some help. The person who helped me there was wonderful, and actually took the time to listen to me and talk me through some of my challenges. I found out I COULD have replaced my phone with one similar to what I had, however since the Verizon store is not related to the Go Wireless store I'd need to do it through them since I went there first (lesson learned). So I now have a new, complicated, big phone that I still don't love but will learn to get used to because I will never go back to this store (even though I'm still well within my 14 days to exchange if I wanted to). I get it - phones and commissions are these peoples' lives, and they cannot understand people who don't want the latest and greatest phone glued to their head that they can show off to all their friends. But they are missing a HUGE piece of their clientele with this mentality. Next time I need a new phone (hopefully not for a LONG time), I will go to the Verizon store where I was actually treated like a human. I'd love to give 0 stars for this place. read more

I stopped into this store last week looking for some help changing a line from a stolen iPhone to a hotspot and upgrading my iPhone 5 to a 6+. I was helped by Van who was simply great. My situation was a little complicated and as they are not a corporate store, they didn't have access to all my details. So the change outs involved a number of phone calls to Verizon and a few other complications. Van was really great in getting the job done, and in the "hanging out" time I got to speak with the other two staff who were also really good and helpful people. When I left with my new phone, everything had been done correctly, it all worked, and I was a happy bunny. About an hour later I realized I had left the battery pack for my iPhone 5 at the store, called them, and they stayed open so I collect it on the way home. My summary - good people, competent, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. Would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking a helpful and professional store. read more
