I cannot remember the woman's name who has very long dark almost black hair and bangs, she has a butterfly pendant, but she and the manager Jason (?) were unbelievably attentive and helpful. I came in thinking I had only one issue to address - my son had broken his Bark phone and I decided to upgrade him to an iPhone as a gift. I had a prepaid account with AT&T for years. I couldn't seem to 1) get the new phone activated with his old number, 2) get his new, activated, phone onto my prepaid account. Turns out, not only was I overpaying, but my account still had an old unused phone number attached to it, my last name was not updated after being married (I honestly thought I handled this), and a myriad of other issues were happening to try to get his phone number back onto an iPhone. Not only did these two discover all the issues, but they handled it seamlessly and managed to keep such a pleasant nature (I came in near tears after having spent 7am-11am trying to do this on my own at home) that I felt really held and cared for deeply. I don't write alot of reviews, especially about emotions! But these guys really took control and got things done. I feel so much better, I'm paying less now on a more controlled post-paid account, and my son's phone is up and running with his same phone number. Thank you both. Lyndsay (might not be the right spelling, sorry!!) was absolutely amazing tonight. I came in a few hours til close and she along with the assistant manager of the store helped me for approximately 2 1/2 hours on an issue that has been seen for the past few weeks with watches. Both of them were absolutely amazing and refused to give up, even when the help line told them I would just have to call in after 72 hours. This review is not about the store but about cell phone service, i bought an add-on 12 months ago for international calling, then while I was in Portugal, the service didn't work so I called for a refund. After my call was dropped twice and having to call back and wait 7 minutes each time, I got yet another person who said they would need to transfer me to see if there was any usage during the months I want the refund. In addition, they said I could not go back to my original plan because it was discontinued, something they did nor warn me about before I added the add-on. I finally hung up on them, the time and effort is just not worth the $60 refund but boy that is horrible customer service. read more

Oh my god. No words for what just happened. But in short they straight up LIE to get you to sign up for "free" hot spot equipment. They tell you to just "try it and you can cancel any time". But they DONT tell you that you that you ONLY have 30 days to return that equipment or they charge you $500 for it! So that would be bad enough except what just made JAWDRAPPING was that when I expressed annoyance at this straight up fraud, the store MANAGER said "I don't like your tone. So if you don't change your tone I'm going to kick you out of the store!!" Wait for it. I'm a white, avg sized, middle aged mom of 2. I'm in no way threatening. And I wasn't yelling OR cursing. I was JUST annoyed (for obvious reasons). I said "there is no other tone. I'm annoyed. How am I supposed to sound??" And then he literally walked away and said "I'm going to call the police!"... oh yeah. It was 9:15 am. The store JUST OPENED and literally no one else was even IN the store. In case you thought I was making a scene or disturbing other customers. What has happened in the world where this little twerp will "call the police" on their own customers just because he isn't actually trained in actual customer service resolution!!??? Overall my experiences at this store are positive, and the staff is generally helpful. Remember, these people have to deal with the general public all day every day and I imagine that can be emotionally taxing, to say the least. Once and a while you'll get someone with an attitude problem, but in my experience that's the exception. You'll be much better off if you're dealing with a rep (like Ryan, an 8-year veteran at AT&T) as he knows his sh**. My only issue is wait times at this store. You typically have to wait 30+ minutes to get assistance, so plan other activities while you're in the queue. You get text notifications indicating your position in line which is nice. Be respectful with them and they'll usually return the favour. And please, people, don't give 1-2 star reviews for long wait times, that's not really fair. Go to Verizon or the Apple Store without an appointment and you'll have to wait 30+ minutes there too. read more

I recently traded in my old iPhone for a new one, and had the new phone shipped to the store to make the transfer easier. I was immediately helped by an employee named Jonah. Jonah was very efficient in helping me make the switch, but made passive aggressive comments and insults the entire time. He mocked the passcode I had chosen, critiqued the tabs that I had open, and told me how many emails I had as if I were stupid and unaware of them. The process was very efficient, and I have been helped without issue at this store before, but none of that negates what I experienced there today. I felt like Jonah thought I was stupid, as he certainly talked to me like I was. I felt belittled, was spoken down to, judged, and criticized. Employee's opinions on what I do with my phone have no place in a simple transfer process. read more

THEY TOLD ME TO "GET THE F OUT". DO NOT SWITCH TO AT&T, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! I just had the worst experience of my life at this store. Trent, the manager should be fired for how he treated me. He was rude, aggressive and seemed like he wanted a physical confrontation with me. My father just switched our family plan to AT&T in a store in New York earlier today. The store in New York made a mistake in setting up the plan, by not adding me as an authorized user. AT&T customer service can not add anyone as an authorized user for 48 hours after purchasing a plan, and Trent needed a physical ID of the authorized user to provide any assistance to me. We were on a three way phone call with AT&T Customer service, my dad (The plan owner), and Trent and I. AT&T was able to verify his identity through his social security number, but Trent would only accept a physical copy of an ID before he could do anything. He would not work with AT&T customer service, my Dad, or myself. He seemed determined to keep me without a phone for the next 48 hours until AT&T customer service could add me as an authorized user. As I was trying to talk with him and brainstorm ideas, he kept on getting more and more aggressive towards me. He started screaming at me: "DONT TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB! I WILL NOT DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL, THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS! GET THE F OUT OF MY STORE." I gladly left the store after that. I have never once in my life been told to "GET THE F OUT" by a manager of a store. I never plan on going back in ever again. read more

This store is not helpful in the least bit. I came to separate my line from the company plan I was on. The plan admin had already called ahead of time to release the number and the only thing I needed to do was move it to my account. I was told by the person working with me that I wasn't an authorized user on the account so I couldn't make the changes. When I explained that the plan admin had already called in and was told I was all set to transfer billing responsibilities he said the person on the phone at AT&T probably assumed that the plan administrator would come in with me.....what? That doesn't make sense. Furthermore, why would a company make an employee, who's leaving and taking their line with them, an authorized user on the account? So I called into AT&T and they were able to help me do it over the phone and told me that I in fact did not need to be an authorized user on the account to split my line off. tl;dr: this is basically just a store that sells phones and can't actually help you with matters related to your account. read more

I walked in any was immediately assisted by Josh. Josh seemed to quickly understand my problem, and put the wheels in motion to help fix things. Unfortunately, he said he was unable to issue me a credit in the store; apparently that had to be done by calling Customer Service. I experienced one of the worst customer service experiences over the phone, even after asking to speak with a manager (Brandon). Brandon told me that AT&T was not responsible for the overage charges; essentially, that AT&T was not at fault and would not issue a refund. He did, however, offer me an extra gig of data, which I declined. I told him I wasn't even using close to 1 gig, so I hardly needed to bump from 2 up to 3 gigs. I exited the store frustrated (actually LIVID) that I couldn't seem to get a resolution even working face to face with the folks in the AT&T retail store. I took a few deep breaths and walked back in, this time working with Loaiza. Loaiza was able to issue me a credit (making up for 3 months of incorrect bills for a KNOWN issue) on the spot, and handed me a receipt. While that was great, I felt completely duped by Josh, who said refunds in the store were not an option. This was a painful and frustrating experience, with a lack of empathy or clarity from the folks in the store. I will most likely not be a customer with AT&T for much longer. read more

I've been going to this AT&T store for at 6.5 years. There has been the occasional hick-up, but I was overall pleased. That is until I spoke to Jared G today. My new iPhone was shipped to my house and was told I could go into any store to activate it. Jared convinced me that I should do it through my iTunes at home. Four hours later, the Customer Service rep couldn't believe he told me to set up my own phone. This wasn't a great way to spend a Saturday night. Thanks for mucking things up Jared! When I went to cancel after my first bill while I still had a chance to, the service rep on the phone tricked me by telling the lie "Your first bill is only 2 & a half times higher than what we promised because it's the first month, it will go down next month." If I could give this place no stars I would. I've been there twice and each time have had an awful experience. The staff are extremely rude and would rather stand around and chat with each other than go and help customers. When I finally did get help, the guy was texting and smiling at his phone instead of making eye contact with me. Right in front of me. It was so rude! That was back in October 2014. Now today, 5/14/2015, my husband broke his phone screen and just wanted to see how much it would cost to repair or replace. The guy asked about insurance which my husband didn't have and so the guy laughed in his face and replied, "You gotta get the insurance man!" That is not helpful in any way. This store suffers severely from the current practice of pretending customer service through fancy check-in boards and Apple store layout. But when it really comes down to helping you, they only want to sell you stuff. A case in point: We have been AT&T mobile customers for about ten years, mostly because we live in the mountains and it is the only network that works up here. We purchased our mobile phones from AT&T and thus they came "locked" to AT&T. We have traveled to Europe twice in the last couple of years, and thus needed each of our cell phones "unlocked" so as to purchase a short-term European sim card for use there. As part of the process for unlocking them, one needs to insert a non-AT&T sim card into the phone, then input an unlock code when it is rejected. Both times we went into the Boulder AT&T store for help with this, and both times they refused to help us on the grounds that they would be helping us take our business elsewhere. We then went across the street to a T Mobile store, who most graciously helped us out in full knowledge that we were AT&T customers. If any other mobile provider worked up here in the mountains, especially T Mobile, I would show AT&T the same loyalty they have shown me. read more

My experience at this store was so horrible it was almost laughable. I went in to buy an iPhone for an already existing account. I was told all the display models had been stolen, so I would not be able to see them. I asked for the price range, and once I made my choice, I was told it was not available. I made a second choice, and again was told that model was not available. The only model available was the most expensive one (1,099.00). I was frustrated and said I would take that one. After the salesperson came back with the phone, he said we didn't have that one either, so this is the $1,199 model. I bought the phone and took it home, only to find that the phone did not come with the adapter to let me plug it in and charge it. When I called the store to find out why, I was told that Apple does not include these in the package. I said "Don't you think it would have been both courteous and professional to tell me that before I left the store?" The reply was, "Apple does not include them in the package." read more

If I could, I'd organize a class action lawsuit against this store and AT&T, but since I'm not a lawyer I am filing a complaint with the attorney general of Colorado. They gave me a free hotspot device for renewing my contract, but failed to tell me that it would require me to pay $20/mo for 2 years for the hot spot line. When I called into AT&T the support rep informed me that they receive calls ALL DAY LONG about this same issue and "understand my frustration"... and yet they still won't let me out of the hot spot line contract or credit my account. Even reading the reviews on this particular store, it is apparent that there is a lot of bait and switch selling going on here. ***UPDATE*** After filing complaints with the attorney general and BBB I received a call from AT&T and they refunded me for the services this store signed me up for without my knowledge. I had originally written this place a great review, because the guy was really helpful and friendly and "didn't upsell me". Little did I know, when he said I could have the phone for free with a mail-in rebate and no contract extension, he literally meant the exact opposite. I had to go back in to delete the extended contract, which I had specifically asked him not to add. They took it off and I bought ANOTHER $60 phone. Later when I got home, I realized they gave me the wrong charger. So I went in AGAIN. And got yet another phone. The whole thing took about a week to sort out and was a huge bummer, because I was so over the top specific about NOT wanting to extend my contract. Lameee. read more

One of the worst customer service experience ever. My experience with AT&T customer service in my home area (Northern California) is not bad, but while on a visit to Boulder and deciding to upgrade my phone was a really bad idea. The wait was over an hour ( due to the iPhone launch weekend) which we chose to accept and were told that the phone we wanted was in Stock. However, after waiting an hour, we were told that the phone was not available. An apology with a nice demeanor would have been fine, however both the Sales consultant and the manager not only did not care about our wasted time, they were rude with comments like "what do you want me to do?". Absolutely no concept of customer service. As one reviewer stated earlier: AVOID THIS STORE!! As an 18+ year customer of AT&T, I did not deserve this level of service and will also be writing an letter directly to the company. read more

THIS STORE LIES TO CUSTOMERS TO GET THE BUSINESS. I had a contract with AT&T in May at this store due to a promotion that the sales consultant, Billy, told me. If I switched from Verizon by the end of May, I would get $50.00 per line credit. So, I did with my family plan, 4 lines. He told me that the credit would come to my account within 2 months. If not, he told me to come and that he would take care of it. But, no credit came. I called him and left him messages. He did not respond. I called AT&T customer service and asked about the promotion. They said, there is no such promotion and told me to go back to the store to get the credit. I left Billy a message about the credit, heard no response from him. I went to the store and asked Billy about the credit. Billy and the other sales lady said, 'the store manager, Adam, checked the status and I would get it within 6 months." I asked the hard copy of the promotion. The sales consultants gathered in front of a computer and after a long time (30 minutes or so) told me they could not find it any more and Adam would know. Billy gave me an envelope and told me to write my address on, and promised me to send the promotion printout when Adam comes back to the office. That did not come, either. 6 months passed, I left Billy a message and emailed the store manager, Adam. Did not hear from them. It seems that this store lies to customers to get the business. ATT knows about it, but do nothing. I was not the only one who came to that store to claim the credit. I hope people read this and be careful with this store. read more

Do not do business with this location! Worst customer service I have ever experienced! I have just about had it with AT&T's unfriendly store staff and the terrible wait time. I have been with AT&T for about 10 or more years and I have numerously change phones. This generation of store employees (esp. this location) are arrogant and very quick to place blame.I decided to go online and do some research on the various carriers before making my decision and in doing that I landed in an online chat with an agent that quite literally saved AT&T my business. I have found the online staff beyond friendly and professional. It is very sad to see two completely different sides of professionalism within the "same" company. I hope AT&T will soon put these store workers in their place. I also asked one of the employees why did this location have such a bad rating on Google and he responded that it is bad only because its written by customers that didn't get what they wanted, i.e. its was unwarranted.
