My wife's phone suddenly decided to quit working this morning so she came to this store to get some…read morehelp. The store opens at 10 am on Sunday, she walked in at 5 after and said their employee, Richard, just ignored her. When she got his attention his first "greeting" was, "We're closed." When my wife pointed out the store had officially opened at least 5 minutes ago, his next response was a brusque, "What do you need?" She goes on to explain how her phone quit working and would like some assistance. The account is actually under my name and I was unfortunately elsewhere at the time, but when Richard found out she wasn't a user on the account he said he couldn't help her and that she should just leave. Meanwhile, another employee emerged from the back room and was equally dismissive. My wife left that store in tears, but not before letting them know how awful their service was. She then went across town to the store on Hover, where she was politely greeted, helped, and ultimately purchased a new phone. It took all of a few minutes to have me add her as an account user, I was able to do it remotely via the AT&T app. Her experience at that store was the polar opposite of what she got at the Ken Pratt location. I, for one, will NEVER shop at or recommend the Ken Pratt location to anyone I know, and their employees should be absolutely ashamed of how poorly they treated my wife. Here's a little tip for you guys from an actual professional who honors and takes client relationships seriously: if your job involves customer service in any way, shape, or form, but you can't find it in yourself to be remotely respectful to the people you serve, it's time to do the world a favor and quit. At a minimum, hopefully this store's manager is paying attention and will do something about the shameful events that took place there today.

We found their actual services to be nothing of the sort. They charge a fee just to look at your computer and they sell a monthly subscription fee? that they charged my mother and did not speak with her about. They had my brother's computer for a month and they did bother to check to see whether it was the power source and then did nothing further. After a month, I told them to pack it up and I would come pick it up and take it somewhere else. My brother recalled getting fair service at a place in Boulder. I called them today to arrange to bring my brother's computer to them. When I explained that it had been at a previous place for a month, they guessed it was UbreakIFix... so apparently that have a reputation.

Then AFTER they took the screen off, they must have damaged it because they called me and said that once they had a new screen on it, the old screen is damaged, and they can't send it back into Samsung to get a buy back to get paid for the job. So they said they wouldn't give me my phone back unless I filed a warranty repair. And if I didn't file a warranty repair, they were going to put the screen that they broke back on my phone. And I could come pick it up, mind you they approved a warranty repair after inspection. There was no damage, no dents or cracks- Nothing on the phone. It had just failed where the screen folds and upon replacing the new screen, they broke the old screen and damaged it and wanted me to to cover it with my deductible on my insurance. I drove right to Verizon off Hover and, after a little wait, told the guy who helped me that "I'd like to solve this problem in the next 15 minutes." The man heard me, and the man kept it short. He was beautiful. In 15 minutes I had a new phone and was out the door. But! I went back the next day with a problem and they looked at it then and there, took it in the back and brought it back out working perfectly. Again, I was in and out of the store in less than probably 5 minutes. The employees here probably have to put up with a lot, but this kind of customer service should be emulated world wide.

I continued to sit on the phone with customer service for over an hour in the store while the employee sat on his phone completely ignoring me and offering no further assistance. I've been a long time Verizon customer (decades) and I remember when representatives in the store would call customer service for us. I sat there until after closing on the phone while customer service was trying to figure out how to help me as the four employees that were there just sat around on their phones. No desire to help me, just waiting until they could go home. I finally left while still on the phone with customer service who ultimately told me they couldn't help me and then proceeded to hang up on me. I am so incredibly disappointed in this store and in Verizon. This is was the complete opposite of customer service. I wish I could share a picture.
