If you need a cell phone repair, I would consider a more competent technical organization. I took my Samsung smartphone in for a battery replacement. The tech destroyed the motherboard on my phone rendering it completely inoperable. Here is the email I have from Batteries Plus: " When we experience a failed repair like the repair on your phone, we go to multiple websites to determine what it would cost to replace your phone with a refurbished one that is the same make and model. A refurbished A42 in excellent condition is available for $131.16. We will issue you a check for $140.00 to cover the cost of the replacement.with either a refurbished phone of same make and model, or you have the option of applying that amount toward a new phone." Batteries Plus hunted the internet for the cheapest, refurbished phone they could find to offer me compensation for their incompetence. Did they tell me their policy for when they destroy someone's phone? - NO Did they offer me a brochure about their repair policy and this little fine print item??? - NO Buyer Beware! I stand by this review. Folks who've had successful battery replacement, good for you. You were lucky. Imagine if you're told not only did the tech destroy your phone, but you lost all your content. read more

Excellent service. I contacted them to replace my cell phone battery which I had never done before. I made an appointment for the next day. The appointment started on time. They said it would take 30-40 minutes to replace the battery and it took under 40. A very friendly young girl helped me and was super nice and explained everything well. Another guy was working also and he was nice too. My phone is like new! Finally a business that does what they say, friendly and excellent service! I highly recommend. read more

I've been a certified ASE technician and have worked in automotive for over 40 years, and this is the WORST PLACE to buy an automotive battery. I purchased a new Duracell battery in August of 2020, and it was dead by February and was repeatedly having to charge it. I took it in this month (May) and was told it was somehow less than 8V nd that I didn't take care of it - NO WARRANTY. I'm out the cost of a brand new battery and have to go buy a REAL battery from a REAL AUTOMOTIVE PARTS HOUSE. LEARN from my experience and do yourself a favor and NEVER BUY a battery from Batteries Plus Bulbs - YOU MAY GET RIPPED OFF LIKE I WAS!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I came in for a fob battery and the guy just took it out of my hand, I didnt see him even open a new battery then charges $15 for install without telling me! Over the years I have liked this place a lot. Their proposal for repair of cell phone glass was pretty dismal. Pixel 2 with broken screen but still functional. Their proposal was over $200 which seemed expensive. But I told them to order it on a recent Friday. Said it should be in next Tuesday. No call. Thursday I go to store and told they forgot to get it on the order, and they would order it again the next day (why only 1 day of the week?). The next Wednesday I go back - still no call and the one person at the store who knows anything about it is out to lunch. No call back. On Friday (2 weeks now) they tell me they will call the factory and get it in on Monday. I'm leaving on a short vacation the following Tuesday. No call again, and I take my broken phone with me on vacation. The following Monday I return to the store. Now 3+ weeks. No one knows anything about the order, except a lame "I think I heard someone talking about it the other day." Will be hard to ever go back after such rude and inconsiderate service. read more

I'd like to preface my comment by saying this is only the 2nd online review I've ever written... the first went to their competitor who provided the customer service that was incredibly lacking at this store. My career has been in the customer service field and so I understand the pressures clerks can be under. I try to see things from their perspective, but I've rarely run into such a group of arrogant, unfriendly, unknowledgeable people in my life. We purchased batteries last fall from another Batteries+ store and they are still under warranty. We are traveling out of state in our motor home, and so we stopped at this store for assistance. Between my husband and myself, we had interactions with five people there, including the manager and the owner. Of those five, only one clerk actually acted as if he were interested in serving us as a customer. I realize that we did not purchase the batteries at this store, and I believe that Batteries+ is a franchise so the store is independently owned and operated. However, the store bears the company name and ought to be concerned about the stores' and the companies' reputation. None of the people we spoke to were knowledgeable about the battery issue. The more pleasant clerk tried to help and reached out to their supplier. The "boss" at the supplier warehouse didn't know anything either and said to talk to the driver who was actually in the store at the time. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He understood the issue and explained how to resolve it. My husband also called another battery supplier and got the same answer. The people at Batteries+ did not resolve the problem. They still did not understand the issue and were not taking correct steps to resolve it. We ended up taking our batteries next door to Advance Auto. I had actually gone there to purchase the type of charger needed to fix the problem, but they offered to put the batteries on their chargers for us. They did it just the way the battery experts had suggested, and surprise, surprise... problem solved. No new batteries necessary, I also did not have to purchase an expensive charger, nor take in my motor home for an expensive system repair (as suggested by Batteries+). And at Advance Auto, they are actually nice, friendly people! Customer service is a huge part of any retail operation. Being friendly and polite is critical. I really do appreciate the one clerk at Batteries+ that admitted he didn't know what to do, and remained courteous throughout. But the owner and his manager refused to accept that they didn't know what they were doing, and couldn't set ego aside for a moment to listen when being told they were wrong.... Which has been proven, since the guys next store did just what needed to be done and now my batteries work great. Of course there's much more to the story, but I'd have to write a mini novel to get in all the specifics. At my place of business I would have been fired for exhibiting such poor customer service. You never talk down to a customer, no matter what is said. Customers are not always right, I know that. But if you don't have the answers, man up and own it, give the customer courtesy and respect. I will be sending a letter to the Batteries+ corporate office as well. I'll give the company a chance to respond to this matter, and if they respond, I'll note that too. But as a franchise, the buck really stops there. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Customer service starts at the top. My business will happily go to those who actually know how to serve. read more

I needed a second battery for my camera and could not find one at the box stores, much less service. I called Batteries Plus and they had what I needed. The staff is very helpful and double checked the part numbers to be sure I had the correct battery. As a bonus they had a charger at a reasonable price so I got that too! This review is long overdue. At least 3 years ago, I went into Batteries Plus in Longmont. I wasn't expecting much, just to get a battery. I think it was for my car key. I was so blown away by the service I got, that I told all of my friends about it. They thought I was crazy! I don't usually go on and on about a store that seems so mundane. Anyway, some time back, maybe close to a year, one of my friends went there, and he too was blown away. He told me I was right. And since then, my mother in law went in there with my wife, and they too had a great experience. I don't review stores in general. And usually if I do, I'm more motivated by a bad experience. These guys at Batteries Plus in Longmont deserve the best possible rating. I'm sure this is a store we all take for granted. Next time you need a battery or light bulb, stop in here. read more

It's amazing how many odd little (and not-so-little) batteries are in various things in my house and garage, and I can't stand going from store to store looking at enless racks of batteries that all have the same 8 types, none of which are the ones I need. I can't really speak to their pricing, though I can say it's certainly not outrageous, because I simply can't find these batteries elsewhere locally at all. It's availability that I crave, and these guys don't let me down. Oh -- and they also take your old batteries for recycling! Doesn't get any better than that. read more

So if anyone has a battery need, I highly recommend Batteries Plus!!! I needed a car battery. One of the terminals was corroded and fell apart when they tried to take the old battery out, the guys took care of it, even walked to the auto parts store to get a part.
