I so rarely write a review but my truly positive experience at this AT&T store motivated me. Most reviews for both ATT and Verizon are so horrible and nightmarish that it's anxiety provoking when considering switching phone service. I have been with ATT for a long time but moved to Longmont about a year ago and my cellphone reception has been spotty at best - sometimes I simply can't make or receive a phone call in my home but I could when I first moved here and for several months. I came to this ATT store to assess what might be the source or sources of my problem. The service tech who helped me was down right efficient, smart, responsive and offered a wonderful customer service can-do attitude. He found several issues that would likely be part of the problem, solved them and welcomed me back if what he did didn't make the difference I needed. I never felt like I was a bother to him or like he had something more important to do. What he did didn't quite solve the whole issue but it did improve the reception some. I will go back and see what else can be done. I wish I remembered his name because I do think it matters who you get to help you. Luck of the draw! read more

I had an extremely frustrating experience with AT&T customer service, both in-store and over the phone. I went in for help with a locked SIM and was told the employee couldn't unlock it or even take a payment, only to return the next day and have a different employee take a payment--clearly inconsistent and incorrect information. I was repeatedly told to "call customer service," despite the fact that my SIM was locked and I couldn't make calls. AT&T locked my SIM due to a device balance, (I was switching to T Mobile and T-Mobile had already agreed to pay it off when I switched). As a result, AT&T left me without a working phone for two days. I spent nearly an hour on hold, on their landline in store, without reaching a real person and was told it could take up to four days total to restore service. This situation was incredibly stressful and inconvenient. The customer service was unhelpful, inconsistent, and dismissive. I will never use AT&T again and strongly caution others about using AT&T. They just want every last dime and don't care about your experience at all. read more

My earlier review indicated that the problem of not being listed on the AT&T account was fixed. I just learned that ERIC, the AT&T rep in the Longmont store, did NOT correct the problem. He mis-typed my email address so I still am not listed on the account. Hence the customer "service" I received was even worse that I thought. I am giving a 1-star rating only because there is nothing lower. I received NO help!!! read more

So I bought a phone from Apple and was told that I didn't need the old phone to activate the esim in the new iPhone, well that was wrong. Long story short, I'm so glad that I took my phone here and I am so thankful for Stephen's help. He advocated for me and I ended up getting a better deal with AT&T. He spent more than adequate time with me, was sensitive to my hearing impairment and made great recommendations to meet my needs. U only gave them a star because i coulnt post without it if I could give minus x10 for the store I would.... Manger and most of the staff have huge attitude. AT&T took over 300$ in charges from a GLILCH out of my bank then admitted that it was their fault but sorry it will take 7 days to fix it. On and on . Now I received my bill for the next month oh 5$ late fee and the guy says Humm I'll have someone call you it could take a couple of days. Really. OK so all and all AT&T glitch has cost me 75$ in time hello my time is worth money. I have been a loyal customer since 2002 never pay my bill late. But I'm done. Very disappointed. read more

The fact that this store even exists is baffling to me. I travel in often from out of state and get ZERO reception across Longmont and Boulder. I can't even get GPS to deliver driving directions the reception is so bad. And yet... when you walk into the actual store, you get FULL BARS. This is incredibly disingenuous. AT&T sent me a bad phone. After many hours with tech support on line trying to figure out the problem. Sometimes it worked others nothing! So frustrating. I finally take my phone to the AT&T store in Longmont and am told the same thing I already knew. Yep, your phone is broken. You have to go to an apple store to get it fixed, which is 30 minutes away. I get there and you have to make an appointment to get your phone fixed. AT&T had sent me the broken phone. Why don't they take responsibility for helping fix it? I decided to switch to T-Mobile for a better price and a new phone. Been with AT&T for 20+ years. BYE! read more

Had a service issue and was told by the staff to come by and see what they could do to help. I showed up it was immediately told by Dan, one of the employees, that they aren't their to help in that endeavor. I was given no assistance other than the fact of being told that's an Apple issue. I've always received great service here in the past with a friendly and helpful crew. Even if they couldn't help, they gave me advice on a plan of action that helped. The flatirons store totally destroyed my account change and upgrade resulting in a $500 charge to get a new phone and new number that I didn't even want taking 3 hours. I came to the Longmont store to correct the mess. I got the phone I wanted, and a refund for $467, and even got my old phone number back on a new account in only a half hour. Collin helped me with the store manager and they were super easy to work with! read more

Worst customer service ever. Melissa was conceding. Her response when we didn't get what we were promised was "you signed for it". Then as I was leaving after getting zero help, she waved sarcastically to me. When I called her on it? She agreed and didn't care. I will never use this store again. If I could, I would give this place a zero. I don't know if the sales guy was new or not but he was EXTREMELY pushy and rude. We were interested in opening a new family plan. Well here I am again because these morons could not follow simple instructions to cancel an order. Even though they had told me expressly that they had canceled the order. So here I am at the store AGAIN at the store and AGAIN receiving crappy customer service. It's fairly quiet right now and we have one associate sitting around playing with the damn phones instead of helping customers. This location is awful. I was working with customer service representative named Dan. He was rude, kept interrupting me which required me to restate all of my questions and concerns. To make matters worst, he talked down to me thinking that I didn't understand what I was trying to achieve. Zero!! I live 40 miles in the mountains. Called the store and spoke with someone directly. Asked all the questions took notes. I get here and all info I was given was wrong. The price of the phone I wanted was $100 more also. NEVER do the next plan with AT&T. You can never get out of it without paying full price for the phone. If not on Next plan you get discounts on new phones and never pay full price. 15 years with them and 8 devices. What a scam. I'm going to a Gophone. read more

My husband and I just went to this store at 3pm on a Saturday. There were already several people in the store. Only 2 people were being helped, but we saw at least 4 employees. After waiting around and realizing there was no organization to how they helped customers and we were probably going to be ignored, we left. Not going back to this store anytime soon. HORRIBLE! Wish I could leave no stars. This store location is a joke. Just when I think a visit there cant be any more frustrating or negative, they prove me wrong with another example of atrocious service. I'm having music issues and first called the AT,&T "Help" phone number, which told me it was more than likely a setting on the phone and visit my local store location. When I walked in, the guy who wandered up already with some level of an attitude Dan, was just rude. He clearly thought I wasn't going to buy anything, so why bother wasting his time trying to help me. Before I can't even thoroughly explain what was going on he barked how its an app issue and to contact Amazon. I also asked about canceling my contract and when certain dates were up, and he was very condescending and rude. Funny enough, I was also in that store today to buy a set of$70 headphones.... So I ran over to Verizon and picked them up! Dan wasn't even trying to help me and this visit was the straw that broke the camels back. I'd rather pay $265 to cancel early than deal with these rude and unprofessional people. read more

I had a great experience at this store! I went to the store with a lot of things to do. It was my wife's birthday and I wasted to get her something special. Jenni helped me with my product selections, plan changes and getting me a Apple Watch that wasn't readily available. She ensured that I completely understood every aspect of the sales and contract processes prior to executing anything. I never felt rushed. Thanks for the great service! read more

Well, I made it pretty darned easy for them because I did all of my research online and came in knowing exactly what I wanted. After the crappiest experience at Verizon, it was a breath of fresh air to swtich over to ATT, plus I get 4G at home, better than the V-word. I also told my sales rep that I had walked out because they wouldn't take NO for an answer, so he was smart enough to do 0 upselling...he was very efficient and apologized for the wait, even though it was much quicker than any time I've spent in a Verizon store. One star off for not explaining voice mail to me before I left (I forgot to ask) but it was easy enough to find on the ATT website. Plus they have Visual Voice Mail for free. read more

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 7 to an XS. Somehow in the first few days of ownership, the XS developed a crack on the back - not sure if it came in the box that way or if I did it (don't recall dropping it ever), but what a bummer. So I called the AT&T 'Enjoy' service who delivered/installed the phone and they told me that the phone could be returned or exchanged under the "AT&T 14 Day Return Policy" at a physical store. Great! Just to confirm, I called the AT&T 800 number and was given the same information. Armed with that knowledge, I set off for the Longmont AT&T store location figuring I'd make the swap and be on my way. Wrong. After the first person could not help me, a self-important "manager" named "Josh" waddled out of the back room with a put-out look on his face. He insisted that no such policy exists, despite the email I had on my phone stating the policy. When I asked him to show me documentation of the policy he was citing, he refused. When I asked him for his last name and employee number, he refused, became agitated and asked me to leave. This is not a place you want to waste your time, and the local Better Business Bureau will be notified. As both a long time AT&T and DirecTV customer, I expect better service. I'm not the "1"star person but the situation earned it. I swung up the day prior to have a number transferred which the manager said could happen if one condition was meant which got corrected that night. The next day I swing in to the same store and get told a completely different information for who I assume was the guy in charge at the time. I understand there are rules to follow and, even being told something different from the manager, I'm happy to oblige. Its just the attitude of the guy. He was pacing back and forth, talking louder, wouldn't look at me..etc. The associate I was working with was great but you could tell he was uncomfortable and that this situation might happen more than on occasion. I went to the Boulder store right after and the associate I was dealing with busted out the number transfer no problem as it had already been put up for transfer. I understand bad days and I've worked in retail more than I haven't but one can't bring the energy up the high in calm situations. I felt bad for the guy and almost went to a liquor store to grab him some beer just to make his day better but I had to drive to Boulder to get my number transfer complete. I wish that guy well and I have no ill will against him whatsoever. I just hope his day gets better. read more

This store is awful and so are the employees. VERY long story short, we switched to AT&T (worst decision ever) back in May. We were told to come back with the final bill from our old carrier, they would upload it and we would receive our switcher credit. Months go by and we receive nothing. I called AT&T and was informed we were supposed to turn in our old phones which no one ever told us and we don't have the phones anymore. I spent HOURS on the phone with AT&T customer service and was finally told that they put a note in our account and sent me an email saying we need to go back to the store and they will issue our credit. We get the store and the manager wouldn't even look at our account or the email. She said we needed our final bill from the previous carrier which we don't have and can't access as the account has been closed. A store employee uploaded it to the AT&T website for the credit but she told us she can't see it and has no proof. Again, I have the confirmation of the upload in my phone but she wouldn't even look at it. She kept asking for the bill which I REPEATEDLY told her I do not have. She said "she was trying to help me" but clearly not as she was asking for a document I don't have. Called AT&T back that night and FINALLY got a credit on my account. I cannot explain how AWFUL this switch has been and how TERRIBLE these employees and the manager are with customer service at this store. This whole issued stemmed from an employee not doing their job in giving us the full details on the credit program yet we have to jump through hoops to try and get the credit we were promised. DO NOT USE AT&T AND ESPECIALLY DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!! read more
