March 30, 2025 | Sunday Brunch | Outside
Shantelle S.

March 30, 2025 | Rancho Cucamonga: While in the area, I looked on Yelp for someplace new to try while at Victoria Gardens! I discovered the cutest French cafe, Crepes de Paris, complete with a cute little teddy bear sitting in a chair near the door! Le Moulin Rouge | Salmon Crepe: Absolutely delicious, especially if you're craving a savory crêpe, this one is pure perfection! I also love the creaminess on top! This crêpe is quite filling! It's the type of deliciousness that almost makes you say yum out loud!! You can even see the Chef cooking the crêpes through the window! Although the crêpe takes a bit of time to make, it's totally worth the wait! Vibe | Inside: Friendly customer service! While waiting for our crêpes, a woman & her excitable & adorable three year-old daughter sat at a table next to us! The tables are quite close to one another! As I was showing my friend photos of my trip to Morocco, the woman started talking to us, and we all started talking about travel, including her 3-year-old daughter! Haha! The woman showed me photos & videos from Paris, which brought back memories of my most recent travels to Paris 2 years ago and we exchanged travel stories & info! I had no idea that three-year-old's knew the names of popular destinations/landmarks they visited in Paris, very smart little girl! Outside: A few cute tables, alongside colorful flowers! Also, surrounded by plenty of shopping/stores at the outdoor mall, Victoria Gardens! Overall: What a cute cafe, which became quite busy while we were there! I absolutely enjoyed the savory crêpe & cute decor! I'm looking forward to trying more crêpes, especially the sweet ones! See you again soon!

Royal Crepe

We came on a rainy Sunday evening and there wasn't a line when we arrived. It was a cute little shop that also had a window to show them making crepes! We ordered the royal crepe which included Nutella, bananas, and strawberry. It came within 5 minutes of ordering and was pretty tasty! Wish there was more and definitely not enough for four people...

Excellent customer service from Maria! We ordered the strawberry banana with Nutella and whipped cream, and it was incredibly satisfying. I also enjoyed the French vanilla cappuccino. The ambience was great, with French music playing in the background, which made the experience even more enjoyable! I'd definitely recommend this Crepes De Paris to friends and family who want a touch of the French cafe experience

Can never go wrong with a crepe from Crepes de Peros. This is my go to place for crepes...Been coming here for over a year and it never disappoints

I walked pass this restaurant a few times so I finally tried it. Service was not the best. The lady almost seemed annoyed we came (mind you, there's no line at all). There were other two girls helping and not one of them smiled. But aside from the service, I must say, the crepe was very good! It came out pretty quick also. I got the Nutella and it was perfect. So I gave this three stars for the food.

Such a yummy dessert, especially in this cold weather. There are few dessert places in the haven city market, I almost tried everything. Crepes are one of my favorite dessert spots in haven city. It's yummy, healthy, and hot. The staff is friendly. Decor is fancy. I like the menus board is big and shows on front. Easier to read. It's my first time seeing a crepes place that has some breakfast options, such as savory crepes with chicken and veggies. That's very interesting, will definitely try that out next time.

The food is great I will tell you they make amazing crêpes for what we as Americans know as crêpes, but the service is definitely lacking. I think they're understaffed and may be overwhelmed but they tried their best. The last time I went there they told me that my service dog was not allowed in there even though I have had him in there before just to order and when I sat down. We were able to sit on the patio which is fine so thank you for that but unfortunately since this experience I have stayed away from this location. They do offer a sweet and savory crêpes I have a savory breakfast crêpe and my father got a strawberry sweet crepe.

Paris Special crepe. Order extra creme sauce for when you're tempted to just drink some.

Been going here for years. It's always consistently super good. Their garlic creme sauce could sustain me by itself. The fact that they put it on a delicious crepe is a bonus. Paris Special crepe (chicken + mushroom) is my go-to. It's big enough to split and still barely finish. Grab a dessert crepe to go, and you're set for the day. The people working there are super nice, tables are clean, bathroom is nice and clean. 0 complaints!

Breakfast special... not special. Around $11! Do not recommend.

Long time Crepes de Paris customer and fan here! Stopped coming when service and quality dropped a couple of years ago. Today, I came in to study and have some breakfast. I saw they opened at 9:00 am per google, but they actually open at 9:30 am. I got there at 9:27 am and chef opened the door anyway, which was nice. Main cashier (girl, possibly Asian) was quite nonchalant and very disinterested in providing good customer service. She rushed me through my order by asking "anything else?" about 6 times. Finally ordered my caramel latte & breakfast special. Caramel latte was delicious but came in a disposable cup, which was disappointing because I loved their ceramic cup lattes... not sure when that change was made. I am expecting it for a $6 latte. I'm there to study so I start getting into it and find myself unable to focus because the cashier is loudly begging the chef, whose name I came to find out is Chuy, to run across the street and pick up her Starbucks order. She must have said Chuy about 18+ times. This, in combination with zero music and a non-existent air conditioning, started making me feel stuffy and uncomfortable. I was hungry, so I thought I'd wait for my food anyway and then go study somewhere else. About 10 minutes later I am handed this plate of over cooked eggs, fried bacon, oily frozen hash-browns and wheat toast. Cashier immediately turns around and goes to complain to Chuy about the Starbucks order not being right. I am starving and go through a FEW bites of the food but I am horrified by everything on my plate. After a few minutes of attempting to eat, I finally got up and asked for a refund on my plate. It was gross, greasy and completely unsatisfying. Cashier tells me I can't get a refund unless there is "a hair in or something else" and then calls on Chuy for back up. How embarrassing for him, to then have to explain that they can't refund based on the food, and because I had eaten most of it, which I did NOT. I actually laughed out loud because I couldn't believe he was being serious. Sadly, I placed my plate on the table and left with my coffee while the staff awkwardly stared me down. In the least, staff should have re-made the order, but that was not offered. I am writing this review in hope that the staff turns this cute coffee and crepes shop back to original magic. Customer service and excellent, quality drinks & food is a must for a shop, especially in a nice area like Victoria Gardens. I am truly, deeply sadden by this experience, and sadly do NOT recommend Crepes de Paris, once a must-try spot in VC. I am open to discussing anything with management, and wish nothing but good and prosperity for this business.

What a great little place! The crepes are so good! Fresh ingredients and made right in front of you. The flavor was spot on. I love the decor and the French music playing. The service was very prompt and courteous. Will definitely be coming back.

For the most part it seems to be a place for an older crowd who wanna get away from the loud sports bars like yard house. I can agree with that sentiment. It is a nice reprieve from the otherwise packed areas of Victoria gardens as it is on the outskirts. The food is delicious and it prides itself on being low in calories. For how good it tastes you would expect a higher price, but that's another reason people like coming here. You don't feel overstuffed and you don't feel like someone robbed you for your wallet. Drinks are on point! The only gripe I have about this restaurant, is the old fashioned!!! They need to get a better cocktail glass for that drink and stop serving it with a bunch of ice. Just get the sphere or cube ice. Please! The staff are always friendly and accommodating!!! From the hosts, bartenders, and waiters/waitresses, they all do a great job at making you feel welcome! Big shoutout to Jasmine, Ashley, and Ron!!! They're great people who go above and beyond to make your visit better than the last. Come try em out for yourself!

The chicken was juicy and crispy with a great kick without overpowering the flavor, and the waffle was soft and fluffy with that perfect sweet and savory combo. We also had the chilaquiles with salsa verde, and those were amazing. The green sauce had really good flavor and the yellow corn chips tasted house-made with a great texture throughout the dish. 5 Stars -- An Amazing Family Celebration After Nora's Baptism…read more We came to Richie's Diner in Rancho Cucamonga after a very special morning for our family, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about the experience. Earlier that morning, our daughter Nora was baptized at Water of Life Church, which was a huge moment for her and for all of us as a family. Afterward, we wanted a place where we could sit down with friends and family, relax, enjoy a good meal, and continue celebrating the day. Richie's Diner ended up being the perfect choice. We had a group of 12, which is not always easy for a restaurant to handle, especially on a day when everyone is excited, hungry, talking, laughing, and trying to keep the kids settled. But Richie's handled it without any issue at all. From the moment we walked in, everything felt organized, welcoming, and comfortable. Nobody made us feel like our group was an inconvenience. That matters. A lot of restaurants can technically seat a bigger party, but not every restaurant actually makes that group feel wanted. Richie's did. The customer service was honestly the highlight of the visit, and Francisco deserves a huge shout-out. He was absolutely amazing with our table. He was attentive, friendly, patient, and had the kind of personality that makes a meal feel more personal. He did not just take orders and disappear. He actually engaged with us. What really stood out was how he took the time to talk WWE with the kids. That may sound like a small thing, but it meant a lot. The kids loved it. They lit up because he was not just treating them like kids sitting at the table; he was treating them like part of the experience. That kind of service cannot be faked. Francisco made the meal more fun and memorable for them, and as a parent, I really appreciate that. The manager, Jimmy Z, also deserves to be recognized. Jimmy always takes good care of us when we come in, and this visit was no different. He has that old-school hospitality that you do not see as much anymore. He pays attention, checks in, and makes you feel like your business actually matters. When he found out we were there celebrating Nora's baptism, he gave her a candy on the house, which was a very sweet gesture. Again, it may sound simple, but those are the moments people remember. Nora felt special, and that was the whole point of the day. Jimmy also gave us some cookies to take home, which was completely unnecessary but very much appreciated. It was thoughtful, generous, and just another example of why we keep coming back. The whole staff did a great job with our group. With 12 people, there are always extra requests, drink refills, kids needing something, people changing their minds, or food coming out at different times. But everything went smoothly. Our waiter took care of us without missing a beat. The food came out hot, the orders were right, and nobody at our table felt forgotten. That is not easy with a larger party, and it says a lot about how well the place is run. Now, the food was excellent too. I had the omelette, and it was perfect. A good omelette sounds simple, but anyone who eats breakfast out knows there is a big difference between an average omelette and one that is actually done right. This one was cooked properly, had great flavor, and hit exactly the way a classic diner breakfast should. It was hearty without being sloppy, and everything tasted fresh. The homemade jelly was another standout. That stuff is amazing. You can tell the difference immediately between basic packaged jelly and something that actually has character and flavor. It added a little something extra to the meal and made the breakfast feel more homemade and special. Those little details are part of what separates a place like Richie's from a generic breakfast spot. My wife ordered the ribeye steak, and it was grilled outside to perfection. The flavor was excellent, and the cook on it was exactly what you hope for when ordering a steak at a diner-style restaurant. It had that grilled flavor, good texture, and was clearly handled with care. Sometimes restaurants treat steak like an afterthought on a breakfast or diner menu, but that was not the case here. Her ribeye was legitimately impressive. Our friend ordered the filet mignon, and that was exceptional as well. It is not every day you go to a diner and hear someone at the table talking about how good the filet mignon is, but that was the case here. It was cooked well, flavorful, and definitely exceeded expectations. Between the omelette, the ribeye, the filet, and the sides, everyone at our table left happy. What I appreciate most about Richie's Diner is that it still feels like a real family restaurant. There is something very traditional and comforting about it. You walk in and it feels like a place where people know how to treat customers. The food is good, the portions are solid, the staff is kind, and management is present. That combination is hard to find.
