The service here is kind and generally quick. It's inside the haven city food plaza, so it's a nice vibe. I personally enjoyed the crepe but it's overpriced and very average. I wish it had a little bit more too it. The whipped cream on the side is great though. read more

Complete disappointment from the service, management and cook. The lady taking my order came off and rude and condescending. I tried to make it as simple as possible, the location was loud and hard to hear so maybe that is where the frustration was coming from, but it still made me uncomfortable. No one wants to order from a place where they feel like they are bothering the staff. When I received my crepe, it was so tough and hard to cut through, it felt like leather. We took it back and asked if they would kindly remake it the cook was happy to. The manager had the worst attitude, the first this that came out of her mouth was, "First of all I didn't make it!.." who greets a client with a concern saying, "first of all!" She reluctantly took the crepe back and remade it herself only to give looks of displeasure the whole time. The new crepe was completely raw. I dont even think she attempted to flip it. I understand making crepes is an art but if you don't know what you are doing do not serve someone something raw and risk making them sick. Overall this was one of the worst crepe places I have ever tried. First off I ordered a banana crepe, the cashier said 'do you want chocolate or nutella' naturally i chose nutella. Then she says it's like 11 dollar and something when the menu said around 8-9 dollars. I was like damn did the tax really go up that high, no, she just charged me a $1.50 for nutella (without telling me it was more). If I had not said anything she would've charged me more without me even agreeing to it. She had attitude when I said I didn't want to pay more for it because I thought it came with it. She took off the charge and changed it to chocolate. After that she went to the back and took like 5-10 minutes to make a salad that we didn't order (no one else was in front of us). The best part about it was that the crepe was so terrible. It was hard, crunchy and impossible to cut. Not to mention overpriced. I really wish I had read the reviews before coming here. read more

I had to laugh when I saw the reviews before writing mine, because now it all makes sense. The lady working came off as uninterested and slightly annoyed that she had a potential customer. The sauce was rich but for some arteries and I got a hint of peanut butter. I don't know if it had been mixed with another crepe before or she actually adds peanut butter to the sauce. Either way there was an unexpected peanut butter taste. I love supporting small businesses but unfortunately I knew as soon as I had my first interaction with the lady that took my order I would never return just based off of her customer service. Oh, I forgot to mention she was on her cell phone when I approached the counter, and when she saw me she looked at me and then looked right back at her phone not saying a thing, that was my first red flag. Finally tried this at Haven City. The French Onion Soup sounded good so I got that. It took awhile to come out which I thought was odd for soup. There was also no one else ordering or picking up orders so I know they weren't busy. I didn't mind since I figured they were toasting the bread and melting the cheese on top. When it finally came out I couldn't have been more wrong. The soup came in a plastic container with the cheese on the bottom. I actually had to ask since I couldn't see it. Then there was a ripped up un-toasted store bought sandwich bread and croutons on the side. The soup was a total salt bomb that was basically inedible. Will not be back read more

I love going to places here at Haven City Market! A few days ago was no exception! I missed hitting here on Yelp day a few weeks back because the line was so long. So it was on my radar to go here on my next visit. It was well worth the wait. The lady at the cash register was super nice. The restaurant appeared to be really clean and has a cool look to it. I ordered a banana and Carmel crêpe and it came with ice cream and whipped cream. All these flavors put together were MAGNIFIQUE!!! It was so good that I will definitely be back here again soon! I Revisited 'Crepes de Paris,' Rancho Cucamonga was from our recent Yelp's Badge Day Event/2023 when they were extremely generous with the perk given out that event nite. Since then, that perk made me crave for more crepes. So I was going to fetch me some Savory crepes for our family lunch one day this week. The cashier I came across was friendly: she literally walked me through all sections of their menu. Now, that's topnotch customer service. Aside from that, she provided some details about some of their popular dishes. I tried their 'Le Moulin Rouge,' and 'Paris Special,'. which I learned that 'Le Moulin Rouge,' crepe was a tad too greasy for me. My favorite from this week's trip's visit was their 'Paris Special,' so same thing as from their Downtown Brea branch. I'll return again to try another dessert crepe. Crepes de Paris is one of many dessert options located within the Haven City Marketplace. We came in on a Friday night, and because Haven City has started hosting live music and movie nights again, it was much busier than usual. However, our order came out fairly quickly despite the crowd. We ordered the French Iced Café and a sweet crepe. The coffee was decent -- milky, not too bitter or too sweet. I appreciate that the employees were willing to make us a custom crepe that was tailored a bit more toward our taste (strawberries, nutella, caramel drizzle, and powdered sugar). All in all, Crepes de Paris is a decent choice for dessert if you find yourself at Haven City -- if not, I'd probably skip it. It's an average crepe, priced a little on the higher side, and the parking here can be a bit of a headache. Props to the employees, though. read more

The wait for our food was extra long and it was pricey. Now the food is awful! I've tried 6 different crepes, both savory and sweet. The crepe itself has a texture that is off. For quick backstory, I have eaten at the Crepes de Paris at Victoria Gardens for years, and used to go there frequently. It was spectacular for a few years but quality went down as one of the original crepe makers left. Then they opened a Claremont location (I've tried that one as well) and then this one. I don't really get crepes unless it's at the Victoria Gardens location and I sit down to eat it (they're better fresh). For reference, my favorite crepes are the Normandie (sweet, apples with caramel) and the St. Louis with ham for a savory crepe (at the Victoria Gardens location). I ordered a brown sugar rolled to go crepe and my mom got the light and yummy with lemon. We got them both to go but ate them inside the mall. Brown Sugar Rolled To Go - don't recommended rolled to go crepes in general because in my experience they never get them right.. the content of the crepe is always on the bottom/not spread properly, so you're eating a dry crepe for the top half. If you're eating rolled to go it's pretty much a waste. It'd be better to get an actual crepe to go. The crepe didn't have enough sugar, even on the bottom part. I was eating a plain crepe with some brown sugar ("some" being generous" on the bottom) basically. 2/5 Light n Yummy with Lemon: Too sour... not enough sugar in this crepe. When you got to the bottom of the crepe it was very sour and basically just tasted like sour lemon. This crepe is very good when made well so it's unfortunate. 2/5 I wouldn't get crepes again from this location. Customer service was fine, they give you a buzzer. I thought it took a long time for 2 crepes that weren't very labor intensive/minimal toppings but we were waiting for other food so it wasn't a big deal. read more

I've been to the Victoria Garden's location and loved it, but this one is even closer. I visited this location for the first time for a Yelp event and was really impressed that they gave out a whole crepe to each participant in the event and never once turned anyone away or made the crepe smaller or cut it in half. For that reason, I'm a Crepes de Paris ride or die fan. Tonight I got the banana and nutella crepe and it was great. Of the 3 restaurants I tried at Haven City Market, Crepes de Paris is the only place where the food met my expectations. I ordered the Curry Chicken Crepe and it was perfect! The dish was served steaming hot, covered in just the right amout of sauce. The flavor was spot on, as far as curry goes. Every bite was filled with chicken, which was especially filling. The texture and flavor of the crepe was very good, consistent, and went well with the flavor of the curry. This must be the 2nd time I've ever tried a savory crepe and it definitely lived up to standard. The staff here was very friendly and made a nice impression. Came here looking for some coffee as "& coffee" was closed at the time we went to Haven City Market. Being that its Covid-19 lockdownthe line was not too long. But there were several people waiting for their orders as well as others ordering. We ordered a french iced cafe and an over ice mocha as well as their alphabet omelette and mixed berry crepe. Customer service like anywhere is hit or miss. Some people are really good. Others not so much. The 2 ladys working the counter, one was standoffish, looking past us like we weren't there, the other one was better and more friendly. They give you a little pager/beeper to let you know when you're order was ready. Our iced coffess obviously came out first, but she didnt let us know which drink was which, until she saw our puzzled faces. Crepe and omelette came out a short time later. For all 4 items we paid $32. Which I feel is overpriced. Now if we were in a touristy area like the mall or disneyland or the airport, okay I'd understand the markup. But I just feel like for the location, $32 is just way too much. The mixed berry crepe was ok. Fruit were way too tart. Actual crepe was cooked well. Light, thin, tasted pretty good. There is a generous amount of strawberries and blueberries in it, but it was so tart that I didn't finsh the majority of it. The sauce that came with it was ok. Coffee was pretty good. I had the french iced cafe and it was smooth. Not bitter at all but also not watered down. It was the perfectly balanced. Especially good considering its still 100 degrees in October (who says global warming isn't real....). Customer service was so so, this place is overpriced. Food was ok, but not worth the price. Iced coffees, which wer $3.85 each, not bad, cheaper than starbucks was really the star of what we ordered. But then again this place is called crepes de paris not coffeesof paris, so you can't really add another star for their coffees because its their crepes they should be known for. Glad to have tried it so I can tell others I've been here, but wont be back again, unless I'm craving some ice coffee. read more

A part of me really wanted to have a better experience as I've gone to both the Claremont and Victoria Gardens location. This is in the Haven City Market where there are plenty of dining choices for sweet and savory dishes. I ordered Mixed Berries crepe ($11) and it took a ridiculously long time for me to get my food and it's not even very busy. The crepes are made to order, and the set up is pretty open where either the tight layout or inefficiencies or need for more training makes it visible that the orders are not completed fast enough. My suggestion is for them to get a buzzer system so customers don't have to stand around waiting FOR A LONG TIME for their order, and wishing they ordered somewhere else faster. Hopefully the staff gets into a rhythm where they'll get their process flowing better or maybe have a not so extensive menu given they don't have much room to cook on. read more
