    Crème brûlée

I gotta be honest, I actually did not like this place The inside of Shibuya was.... So messy. It's like they stuffed the inside of the joint with tons of chairs and tables. You can barely move in there? I only bought one item which was the Crème Brûlée since that appeared to be the flagship item. Taste wise.... It's not that good. The portions or the ingredients were on the smaller side. It tastes like anywhere else? I'm certain this business is trying to profit off Social Media Hype to justify these average items? The prices could be better as well, the quality didn't match up. Oh and the Gacha Machines appear to be of out dated toys. So, I don't really see myself coming here again

I love the creme brûlée crepe! I stopped by here on a whim at 10 pm on Friday and the flavors really caught my eye! I saw purple yam, royal milk tea, hojicha, matcha, black sesame show up individually in different desserts. I love how there's a whole bunch of flavors that I don't see often here in the Bay Area but I know are super popular in Asia. I ended up going with the classic creme brûlée crepe because it seemed like there'd be a lot of good textures and I WAS RIGHT. Creme brûlée crepe: There's the crunchy caramelized sugar on top, creamy custard below and tucked in between the folds of the crepe: almonds(?), biscoff crumble and strawberries. The whipped cream that's in the center isn't too sweet so it really complemented the rest of the flavors. You can finish the crepe without feeling you're going to explode from sugar which is a pretty big win in my book. Service: You order through a tablet that's close to the door. Since I arrived so late in the night, there was one person working at the counter. They diligently made my crepe and I'm very happy with the care they put into it! The crepe itself does take a bit to put together because of all the components but it is worth it. Ambiance: Super cute! I love the gachapon machines and it's fun to walk through looking at all the cute trinkets. This seems like a fun place to meet up with friends and yap. I am definitely going to come back and try all the different flavors!

Crepe Shibuya is a new dessert & drink spot in the McCarthy Ranch, close to TeaTop, Gohan Sushi, etc. The parking is ok and shouldn't be an issue. The interior is nice, modern, and fun looking. Two kiosks to order from. They have tables and chairs to sit at amd relax. They are still in soft opening, so they were out of several items. But, I was only getting a drink anyway. I ordered their Strawberry Matcha Latte: A smooth matcha latte paired with sweet strawberry, combining fresh fruitiness with earthy matcha for a lightly sweet, refreshing finish (4/5). I'll be back to try their crepes and other items. Support your local business.

It's very unfortunate to see many negative reviews on Yelp about Crepe Shibuya in Milpitas. It's authentic Japanese desserts/beverages/crepes here and not the full recipe crepes. Dessert crepes are very thin in texture/carefully crafted/lower calories/lighter in taste. If you're looking for a crepe house, you will be disappointed here. Crepe Shibuya is a very laid back dessert and snacks spot. Don't expect lunch crepes here. Flavors are similar to what you may find in Japan or Asia. In other words, it's not overly sweet nor too fulfilling. I had the Strawberry Daydream Crepe with Crepe Flakes/Nuts and Strawberries with no sauce $10.95. Seriously, they serve very fresh strawberries here. Tasted good. Finely sliced and crafted for your dessert enjoyment. Crepe is very plain and simple with whipped cream. I'm liking it already just for the dessert crepe. I also had 1 small cup Matcha Ice Cream $5.95. Authentic. Creamy/light/good. I feel like a happy kid again since I had the entire space to myself. Yes, very calm and quiet inside. Cashier male is polite and detailed. Modern and clean. Good menu selections. There are two self service kiosks. There's a gender neutral restroom in back. Kids can hang around and play with tokens at plenty of machines. Lots of tables and chairs inside, as well as some patio spaces. Not bad for a matcha dessert/beverage spot. I would want to revisit for something savory in the future. More small popular savory flavored bites/Japanese snacks would be desirable. Crepe Shibuya has its own parking spots labeled with the word " Crepe " too. In a small parking plaza, this is helpful. Not busy nor crowded during lunch hours on weekdays. It's a good addition to City of Milpitas. Nice.

The Creme Brulee Japanese Royal Milk Tea was pretty good. The tea itself was smooth, with cream flavor. The Creme brulee mixed in was not too sweet, with almost creamy marshmallow texture when you get the little clumps of it. Hokkaido Milk Ice cream was the best Hokkaido milk ice cream I've had. It's not just creamy flavor but it almost tasted like butter. The Creme brulee cream on the crepe was yummy. It had more of a caramel flavor. Smooth, thick creamy with a thin layer of torched caramelized sugar. The crepe was rolled into a cone with strawberry slices, whipped cream, granola and nuts in between layers. I think it's better if they spread some of the creme brulee on the layers of the crepe so the taste is consistent throughout. The Creme brulee is only on top of the crepe so once you get about a quarter of the way from the top, the crepe cone was a bit dry. There were granolas and almonds in between the layers of the crepe. Crepe itself was good. Pretty filling. This place also have sa ory crepes. They had those very popular vending machines that dispenses little toys.

Considering I visited during the store's soft opening, hiccups are intended to be worked out during this period. The shop was clean and bright. We ordered the hojicha soft serve and the strawberry crepe. The Hojicha soft serve was good. The strawberry crepe however, took upwards of 20 minutes to make, and lacked whipped cream, sugar, and the overall sensational of eating a pleasurable dessert. The strawberries that were used as garnish were on the mushier side and didn't live up to the portray Japanese style. I'm hoping with the soft opening, they'll have a better grasp of timing and topping ratios for a better crepe.

They are one of the few places that have Japanese crepes so I was excited to try when I saw they had opened. The space was clean, filled with bright lights, and had capsule vending machines that kept us entertained while waiting for our crepes. The crepe was good and carefully crafted. I was watching the older gentleman assemble our crepes and could see that he really put a lot of effort into it. My only complaint was the wait - the turn around time from placing the order to receiving the crepes took a little too long. Especially considering it was not very busy. Since they are a new business I'm sure there are kinks they need to work out but I really hope they make it because it's nice having a spot for dessert crepes in the area!

Stumbled upon this new crepe spot and had to give it a try. I love Japanese crepes, though this place takes a more unconventional approach. I ordered the matcha crème brulee crepe through their kiosk system, which lets you customize the fillings. I already had a feeling I wouldn't love the cereal toppings, but I still wanted to try them out for the experience. They offer things like Frosted Flakes, almond slices, and even Biscoff cookies. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of those in crepes, but I also felt like the crepe might taste a little plain without some added texture. Next time, I'll probably skip the flakes since I did really enjoy the matcha crème brulee filling itself. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff filled the crepe all the way to the bottom. Nothing is more disappointing than getting to the end and finding it empty. I personally prefer my crepes a bit crispier, while this one leaned more soft and chewy. Aside from the food, they also had a great gachapon selection, which was a fun bonus. Overall, I'm happy to see a new Japanese crepe shop in town and hope they stick around!

I really wanted to like this place and was excited at trying something new, but the service, drinks, and ordering were less than mediocre. When I arrived the store was bright and initially promising. Lots of toy vending machines but the back half was somewhat claustrophobic. The two ordering tablets in the front of the store were slow and most of their items were either unavailable, were never available to begin with, or were marked as "sold out". Being it was my first time there, and I had a few questions about their menu, I proceeded to the front cashier. At the time, I was the only customer in the cafe, so it wasn't busy at all. There were two employees, the first wearing an orange shirt, was clearly busy making a drink, and there was a second employee, an older Asian lady with ponytail, that was just wiping the counter. I stood in front of the cashier in plain view for a couple minutes, and not once did the older lady who was free acknowledge me. She literally stood in front of me and acted like I wasn't even there. It was so awkward and rude...A brief, "we'll be right with you" would have sufficed. She waited until the other employee was done making drinks to help me and then she walked away... When I finally got to ordering my drinks (two matcha lattes) from the nicer employee, she said that she couldn't take my order because their main tablet/cash register was "broken", so I had to go back to the clunky tablets to place my order....Not only was the whole ordering experience a hassle, but it took longer than expected for my drinks to be made (as others have already pointed out). They are so slooooooow. I could understand if the store was busy, but that was not the case. Also, the drinks were so basic, watered down, with barely any flavor, so I will not be coming back. There are so many other great places nearby!

I'm not really a big fan of crepes but I just saw this place and thought to try it. I ate the Creme Brûlée crepe and I think it's alright. There was only creme brulee at the top and the rest was filled with whipped cream and strawberries. I got it for $8 but it would've cost ~$11 without the discount. I just think that there's nothing much to it but it was still pretty good I guess. It also took like 15 minutes to come out.

I didn't want to leave a negative review but I have never waited so long for such a mediocre crepe in my life. I ordered 2 crepes and it took 1/2 hr to receive. The crepe was nearly all crepe batter with so little strawberries and cream and not to mention, they had forgotten bananas in mine's but I didn't want to have to wait an extra half an hr for it. The cute touch to this store are the gacha machines which were decently priced. The workers looked sad and stressed. I really wanted to love this place but it turned out more than disappointing.

    Marco ..

Hands down, the WORST crepes i have ever had, and i've had some bad ones.. The presentation wasn't bad, but the crêpes tasted like nothing, and the sauce was nonexistent. we got the strawberry crêpe and crème brûlée crêpe The strawberry crêpe, had no sauce, and the strawberry slices were insanely thin as well as very few in number. so it was just dough and whipped cream with a slight hint of strawberry. The crème brûlée crêpe was just whipped cream and nuts, with the nuts being spread very sparsely. I will say the taste was better than the strawberry since it was a little sweeter, and in the beginning, you could taste the crunch from the crème brûlée from the top. Overall, I am very disappointed because I love crêpes, and I have heard positive things about this place from friends, unfortunately, it seems that it has gone downhill. 1/10 would not recommend the crepes whatsoever The tiramisu matcha was all right, I'll give it a good six out of 10 and it was very sweet. unfortunately, it was at least 40% ice if not 50% so I have to give this a 4.5/10 overall, if I wanted crêpes, I would not look towards this place.

    Creme Brûlée Crepe (contains bananas)

Came during their Soft Opening. The store itself was spacious and clean. Ordering is done through self-ordering kiosks. The descriptions for the sweet crepes don't mention all the ingredients, at least the Creme Brulee crepe. I ordered the Creme Brûlée Crepe, and no where in the description does it mention it having bananas. So I was surprised to see and taste bananas in the crepe. They should add that to the ingredient list, cause if I had known there were bananas in the crepe I would've chose a different one to try. Besides that, the crepe itself had a nice soft texture just like what you would expect for a japanese crepe. The cream and creme brulee was good too. Overall would come back to try their other crepe flavors. Please just be more descriptive in what ingredients are in each item!!

It is in the general area with Cere Tea and Koi Palace. We arrived around 6PM and were seated immediately. We came for the seafood don and both got the UME with an addition of the ochazuke set. For $26 + 4.5 for the set, I think it's really worth the price and you get a good amount of fresh fish. Each bite felt like I was transported to Japan and eating a Kaisendon. Although we had to wait for a bit for the dashi soup to arrive , it was a delicious end to our meal. So comforting and hearty.

Loved the quaint atmo, dark colors with zen vibes and the small space made me feel like I found a gem in an alley in Japan. Unique menu where they'll do a few fried apps, udon soups where they told me the noodles are homemade. And this rice seafood bowl where minced up tuna and other sushi ingredients are all in one bowl. I've had chirashi hundreds of times but I've never had a bowl quite like this...so I had to give it a whirl. Take Bowl ($33/4*) So this gets presented in a very Japanese fashion. On a tray with a decorative ceramic bowl containing the seafood and rice, a matching ceramic bottle of homemade soy sauce, a pickled cabbage side and a nice big wooden spoon. In that bowl is a base of warm plain short grain rice, topped with a generous mound of minced raw tuna, a little snow crab, a few chunks of raw scallop and this particular version has a ton of salmon roe. It is garnished with a small nori sheet, some scallions, pickled ginger and wasabi. So very familiar ingredients if you're a fan of sushi, but the experience is one I can say I've never done. Menu says to first make your own hand roll with that nori sheet, stuff it to your hearts content. Once that's done you can eat the bowl as you wish. Hopefully with a dousing of the soy/wasabi combo as the minced fish is completely plain, no seasoning. I kinda mixed the seafood mixture into the rice a bit, not sure if that's the move. Now here's my take on this new way to eat sushi ingredients. I liked it but I didn't love it. I think I would much rather just eat a chirashi or a tartare prep from a sushi chef, as those have texture and flavor added by a chef. Here you have to do everything yourself and often there can be a learning curve to the new experience. Like I had to add the soy/wasabi mix several times, as I just couldn't figure out the right amount as their soy sauce is much less salty than commercial versions. And I was too concerned on not going overboard and ruining my bowl, so I was doing it in a very cautious but cumbersome manner. Also since everything was so minced up, the overall texture is very one note, soft and mushy. At least with a chirashi you can sense each fish's firmness and unique texture. Here the chopped tuna, chopped scallop and shredded crab are all soft, and with the soft rice, was just a mush fest for me. There were small hunks of cucumber and pickled lotus root that gave little hits of crunch, but still not enough for me. I will say the seafood is very fresh and in good portioning. Fried Squid Legs ($4.50/4*) Very small skewer of trimmed up calamari tentacles fried tempura style. The fry is very light. The tentacles remain quite tender yet with a slight chew. But the crispness was minimized by the light fry. Still decent with the cold seafood bowl, to go back and forth on the bites. I'd still come back to try those homemade udon noodles, now that I've knocked out their seafood bowl. Give me an adventure and I'll delve right in. Thanks Yaichi for providing such an adventure.

Good sushi; not the best I've ever had but again, can't be mad at the quality for a small casual mom and pop type of spot that isn't as modern or elevated and focuses more on serving what they have regardless. I LIKE it lol period! I think it's lowkey an underrated sushi spot in the Milpitas area for a casual sit down. Yeah some of their rolls can use a little more work depending on what you order, but don't expect too much for a place that still gives you quality for what it is, you know. *If you prefer more modern or elevated or Michelin-like style, then this place is 100% not for you. (5 stars for the sando!). The sando came with two large chunks of pork cutlet (I assume that it is the same thick cutlet used in their curry and udon plates), slaw and sauce.it was as tasty as the sando one can get at a convenience store ("kombini") in Japan, say at 7-Eleven or Lawsons, but this one was steaming hot - very nice! I really appreciate the detail and care when preparing the plate. The hefty sando, though it came on a small brioche bun, was sitting on a raised metal grate to keep the bun from getting soaked from the sauce. Nice! The fries were super thin, but were crunchy, and they were lightly seasoned with furikake (seaweed seasoning). The tsukemono (pickled cucumber) were delightfully crunchy and slightly sweet. The rest of us in our party ordered Tonkatsu Curry over rice or Tonkatsu Udon. Very strange. A couple of us found the pork cutlet to be moist and juicy, while the other two found the cutlet to be dry. There must be a reason why this should be. But until the reason is found, this inconsistency prevents me from giving a fifth star. I am happy to see that since we first came to eat here three months ago, this restaurant has found its footing. But there are some improvements that need to be made to make this truly a five-star experience.
