Tried Creekside for the first time and it was definitely a HIT! This restaurant offers friendly service and delicious food! I got the fettuccine Alfredo with cajun chicken and it was so good! Highly recommend! Tip: this place is BYOB! So bring your preferred alcoholic beverage to enjoy

German Chocolate Cake

Stepped into this place for the first time. The vibe was definitely down home and casual. The service was incredibly good. Our food was very good and the burger was just a tad over cooked. However the desserts are spectacular. The German chocolate cake had a great sponge and was really flavorful. They waitresses also gave us a sample of the strawberry shortcake and it was the surprise of the day for favorites.

Criminally underrated restaurant not just in Azle but DFW/surrounding areas. Top 2 restaurant steaks I've ever had (not exaggerating). Very consistent and always cooked perfectly rare as ordered. The mashed potatoes are so fluffy and whipped, their brown gravy is homemade and flavorful, hamburger steak is huge. Other favorites are the chicken fried steak hand breaded to order and the spaghetti and meatballs. Service is incredible always and turnaround times very quick. Took us about a year after moving here to stop in and I regret missing out for so long. It's a weekly must have and underpriced for the quality.

Creekside grill is more like a casual steakhouse in the suburbs of the suburbs than a grill. A few miles south of Azle, right on FM 730 S. The food was pretty good and if I am out that way, I might stop in again. Parking was plentiful even though the place was pretty busy. My lovely bride and I both ordered steak. Mine was a flat iron steak and she had a sirloin. Not sure why, but everywhere I go the food seems to be about two minutes from how I want it to be cooked ‍. It was just a bit rare but still delicious. The small caesar salad I ordered was indeed small- order the large if you are hungry. The mashed potatoes might have been cooked and held a little too long, but the flavor was good. It was super dark in there! Maybe they were trying to set the mood, but I am old and blind, so I need the light to see. All in all it was good. No real surprises, but pretty solid food if you are in this area.

We had such a great experience at On The Patio for dinner this evening! The service was fantastic,…read morefriendly, attentive, and quick. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the atmosphere made it such a fun place to eat. Lots of TVs playing different sporting events and the burning fireplace made it so cozy on a cold winter evening! We tried the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, the mac and cheese, and a burger with onion rings everything came out hot, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. To top it off, we couldn't resist the funnel fries with chocolate sauce... such a tasty sweet treat to end the meal! Highly recommend!

It's been a while since visiting OTP and I believe that they are under new ownership. Maybe not,…read moreI'm not sure. Regardless, the place has a much different vibe. It has a much more sports bar feel that before. Lots of TVs. Staff is friendly and efficient. As a few others have noted, it can be a bit loud so if you are looking for a cozy spot to whisper sweet nothings to each other, this might not be your first choice. What made me take another look after so long was their advertised special of butter chicken a couple of nights a week. I really enjoy Indian food and there just isn't any that would be considered "nearby" to Azle. So, I took a chance. Happy to say that I have been back several times. With so many Mexican eateries around here, it's nice to see a place branching out!

Let's start this meat-ing by saying... 5 STARS all around!…read more Service: A Bunch of Southern Gentlemen! Ambiance: Clean with lots of seating inside and out. Food: Quality, quality, QUALITY! I'd like to try the whole menu, but I've only been twice. The first time, we grabbed their famous Double Standard Burger. Meaty & marvelous! The second time, I grabbed the House Salad with Chicken. Healthy! The third time, I grabbed TMB French Dip. FAVORITE ITEM thus far. (: All times, fries were had. They are crispy, well seasoned and pair to perfection with Heinz ketchup. Oh, and I can't forget the iced tea and lemonade! I made an Arnold Palmer with them... gamemaker for any lunchtime meal. :D Will I be going back? Hands down. I have more to try!!!

Update: My first review- My beef sandwich was delicious;…read morethe meat was so tender. My friend liked hers as well. I can't wait to go back. Second experience did not live up to my first experience. I came back with my husband. I tried the burger and he had the blt. The beef sandwich is better. I got the single patty. If you get the burger, get the double. The patty was thin. I think the Hawaiian roll made it sweet. If you like sweet burgers, you may enjoy it more than I did. I also bought the "world famous" Swiss pastry shop Black Forest cake. Evidently I've never had their Black Forest cake because it was horrible. Black forest cake is supposed to be chocolate with cherries. The cake was white with cool whip. But here's the big issue - it was dried out and hard. The guy behind the counter told me it was frozen. This cake was not hard from being frozen. I asked several questions about the type and quality. I'm surprised he didn't offer a refund. Not worth $6.50. Not sure I'll go back again.

None of our meals disappointed us and we left very satisfied by the experience. Memories for a lifetime! However, I find the food to be quite a let down, not worth the price. I had the sourdough and it was good. I had the steak and fries for the main course with the upgrade cuts of steak. The fries were well seasoned however not all was good evenly and some over cooked and some undercooked. The steak was okay, the sears were bad and so was the overall flavor. Overall, I think it's a great place for a business meet up and if you are standing at the property but nothing too special. Note: this was lunch menu and I heard the burger here is good so many you can try that but I wouldn't recommend the steak at all.
