My family and I just ordered Crecco's and I got the APPLE salad. Upon opening it, I saw there were NO APPLES. Like, it's called "Apple salad." I called to tell them. I was just looking for a few bucks back but she insisted they make me a new salad and deliver it, so I agreed. The delivery of the new salad just got here and they literally just sent me a few sliced up apples. I think that's pretty unprofessional honestly. We love Crecco's, it's the best pizza and menu for a pizza place. I was in last night and noticed a sign where it mentions switching to "Beef Tallow" cooking oil. -so essentially "replacing seed oil". The issues I have are-let's say a vegetarian orders eggplant parmigiana- it's no longer vegetarian because it's got a beef product in it. I ordered mozzarella sticks, not realizing it was fried in the animal product until after reading the sign. While I'm not a vegetarian I often make the choice with some meals to not eat meat, additionally many people in my life are vegetarian. Beyond that it states on the sign that it's "the healthier option"... upon researching it is "a poor choice for primary cooking oil" ..."Is beef tallow actually good for you? No, beef tallow is not considered particularly healthy due to its high saturated fat content, which can increase "bad" (LDL) cholesterol and raise the risk of heart disease." The other issue is, irregardless of being a vegetarian some people don't mix milk and meat. I hope this is an oversight, and they'll choose a different oil, vegetable, avocado, - so many options out there to keep food clean of animal product. We order or dine in some weeks 2-3 times, I will now have to order with better discretion and let those who don't eat meat know it's their main cooking oil. Why are there so many handicap parking spaces in front of this establishment. I understand the need for them but why hasn't the business taken steps towards improving the parking l so that everyone is able to park legally. While legally parking, unfortunately a further distance away, I always notice the handicap spots are all taken by vehicles not displaying handicap placards by motorists who appear to be able bodied individuals and/or Uber eats employees. read more

Ordered from Crecco's last night for the first time in a while and was so disappointed. I ordered rigatoni a la vodka and 3 slices of sausage pizza. The vodka sauce was awful. Almost like it was lying around for a very long time and not made fresh and it was a dark orange! I ate a little of it and threw the rest out. The pizza had very little cheese and hardly any sausage at all. It looked like it too was lying around waiting for someone to buy it. I placed a catering order and they delivered the wrong sandwiches, not what I ordered. I also ordered hot food and the trays of chicken were not as full as I expected. I placed my order in person to ensure everything was written down correctly. I drove 20 minutes and picked up my food from Crecco's to try it out. Well, I ordered 2 sandwiches, a cheesteak and a shrimp parm. which were average at best. My wife had the portabello salad, which she said was very good and indeed did look like a delicious salad. Unfortunately, to start our meal we started with the fried calamari. 1st, the calamari smelled awful. Then I opened it and found it to be gross, soggy, chewy, off color and generally off-putting. Crecco's has been making reliably good food for a long time. Yesterday we ordered a stuffed pepper from the lunch specials. It was so good. They have yummy soups and are very accommodating when you want to customize your order. The girl behind the counter was insanely rude from the moment I walked in the door. I placed an order to go and realized once I got home that the garlic knots were missing and pizza was stacked on top of one another. I called and complained and they had the nerve to tell me that it was my fault. I went back to the restaurant to get my refund for the missing garlic knots and showed them these pictures of the pizza and they said that "none of their employees would pack it that way and that I carried it side ways." This is not the first issue I've encountered at this restaurant, but it sure will be my last - they're not getting anymore of my money. I highly advise you go elsewhere for a good quality meal. Crecco's is my go to place to "hit up" for dinner, while on the job. The cafe is well designed and very inviting. The staff is great and they really care about your experience. The food is good. The pasta is better than many sit down Italian restaurants. The salad menu is extensive and diverse, probably the biggest selection I have ever seen. Overall the menu is strong. You can find something healthy and tasty. A big plus is the fact they will customize your order to ensure your satisfaction. All these factors keep me returning time after time read more

Very bad service,we got penny pasta w broccolis and chicken.after 10 minutes waiter bring to us pasta without anything and he said something about "sorry you should be more correct" (???)he didn't fix this problem. The food is always great especially for the price. When I dine out the food is made and ready within a reasonable time. There have been a few times when my order has been done incorrectly. I would give Crecco's a higher rating if I received better service from the staff. Often times when I stay in to eat I have to clean off the table and wait a while to even get my order in. I've been to both the Orangeburg and the NJ locations and they were equally great! My go-to is the pear salad with white balsamic dressing. Try as I might to recreate that salad dressing I've never been able to match theirs so I will always come back. The drunken grandma pie is also a crowd pleaser at my house. We will also order the calamari as a starter from time to time and it's always been really fresh and crisp and their spicy marinara is a perfect compliment. Poop in my shrimp and this isn't the first time. I would like to say first the food here is great and it hurts my heart to even leave this review. However, last time I ordered the coconut shrimp there was poop in it (Devein). I let this go the first time but I threw out the shrimp. I wasn't going to eat shirmp feces. I haven't gotten from here in a while, so I let last time slide but again, this time upon ordering, same thing in the shrimp. Food is great but this is just really gross. read more

I love Crecco's. I live close by so I order from here pretty frequently. There have been many restaurants in this space over the years but I think this one will be around for a while. It's a perfect place for a quick bite to eat or a light lunch or dinner. It's also ideal if you are on a budget as the prices are not high and the portions are anything but small. Their salads are huge (love the pear salad with added grilled chicken or shrimp) and the chicken pesto panini is my favorite among the many sandwiches. The pizza is great too and it's become my parents go-to place when ordering a couple pies. Sidenote: A friend and I were here around 8:30 on a Sunday night once (last ones there) and before we left, our waiter offered us 8 slices of pizza to take home for free! read more
