I am the owner of Dom ToGo and I for some reason cannot respond to the negative reviews on here for my restaurant so I am going to do it here. The photos you see of the chipped paint and holes in the ceiling are from a bust water pipe that we've since had fixed and our kitchen redone. Our kitchen is super super clean and I hire a team to deep clean the kitchen every week on top of our daily cleaning routine. The reason we have put a divider up to block the view of the kitchen is because my staff gets nervous when people stand over the one area and watch them work especially when it's busy. It's just an anxiety thing for my one employee so to make her feel more comfortable I got her the divider. To the comment that says I'm a rude person I really take personally because if there's one thing I'm not it's rude. I love people and I love taking care of people. Making people Happy makes me happy and talking to people is the reason I am in this industry. I'm sorry if anyone feels differently but I go out of my way to try and be nice to people above and beyond. To the person who claimed their were bugs in my light fixture that review was left by a pest control company owner that I fired and refused to pay because he was scamming me and putting charging me for work he never did. It's a shame he'd come on here to even do that. Thanks everyone and I'm sorry if anyone has ever had a bad experience at my store it hurts me deeply. read more

The current condition of the kitchen is unacceptable and has significantly affected my overall experience. A curtain has been installed, which obscures the visible state of the facility. It appears that either the establishment is delaying necessary inspections by the Board of Health or has connections within the regulatory process, as this facility should have been closed pending corrective action. read more

Mediocre food, very rude owner, disgusting dilapidated kitchen. Water damage in the ceiling above the cooking station. Paint chipping off the ceiling and walls in the cooking station. Ceiling is filthy and you can see hundreds of dead bugs in the light fixtures above the cooking station. Staff was nice though. Definitely wouldn't return. You can see the kitchen through the windows. Dom must be friends with the health inspector because the kitchen is in an incredibly deplorable state as of 9/5/25. They also have 4 previous violations from the health department for: "handwashing facilities inaccessible, improperly located, dirty, in disrepair, improper fixtures, soap, and single service towels or hand drying devices missing. Non food contact surfaces of equipment not clean Floors, walls, ceilings, not smooth, properly constructed, in disrepair, dirty surfaces Improperly functioning on-site sewage disposal system, improper" - Rockland County Department of Health (RCDOH) If you're looking for something similar that's better and actually clean go to 'Leonardo's Italian Deli & Catering' in New City or 'Munno's Italian Deli' in Pearl River. I always get the chicken cutlet sandwiches. Although the cutlets are thinner than most places, they put layers of it on the sandwich. I'm Not being hyperbolic when I say that this is the best chicken cutlet I've ever had on a sandwich. We are redoing our kitchen so it is difficult to cook at home. My mother in law orders from here so I thought this would be great to have for the week. You order through their Facebook page by commenting on what you would like. They often have chicken cutlets and then there's also daily specials. The place is very easy to get you and they have a nice size parking lot. It is right on the corner. When I walked in, it smelled delicious and everyone who worked there was so friendly. The man who worked the cash register was very personable and was talking to me. I just saw that they have a sign of all different types of sandwiches that they have which I will definitely be getting again. The chicken cutlets smelled so good and as soon as I brought them home, my husband ate two of them. I can't wait to eat these throughout the week. We will definitely be ordering from Dom again and look forward to trying some of his other dishes. read more

Don's always makes it right and the food is amazing. After a long week, we were excited for the chicken and dumplings, a favorite, along with the Shepard's pie and chicken cutlets (did not mention the Mac and cheese is incredible) and mix up happened. After a night of no sleep and a rough work day I dreaded the thought of going home to cook dinner. I didn't want to order fast food garbage. I went into my Facebook page and saw this fabulous photo of trays of chicken caprese. Wow. It looked amazing. Having never tried it and Doms being on my way home, I figured I'd give it a try. I was greeted by Michael who was super nice and even asked me how my day was! So sweet. I brought my tray home happy to warm it up and serve up to my family. They loved it! I loved it too. It warmed up nicely and hubby and I were able to have some for lunch the next day! A home cooked meal on a busy week night for $40? I'm sold. 4 meals at McDonald's is about $40 these days or more! Have been a customer for just about a year. A family member reccommeded them to me. Thought they were fabulous; good home cooked food at a reasonable price - considering the outrageous inflation. But lately have noticed the portions have been skimpy and prices have gone up. Maybe the meals should be weighed. We ordered the plain chicken cutlets this week . More good and bad experiences with Dom ToGo. They really do have decent food and it is certainly a good value. But it is so frustrating to show up there and they are suddenly out of items that they've posted for that day...or the wait is just crazy long. Not everyone is able to call/plan ahead and order hours in advance. I just wish they ran a more reliable enterprise. But it is what it is. Took a chance on this place during my break and it sucked. Sent back the rice balls cuz they were cold in the middle. Then they tried to make up for it by giving me a chipotle chicken wrap which was awful. I asked if there was lettuce on it to make sure, because i didn't want lettuce.
