Despite having food allergies (shellfish/pork intolerant/lactose intolerant), the restaurant was willing to make adjustments in the culinary department. I received a six-slice pizza. I have no idea what the size is categorized as or what the price was since I did not pay. This is an old review for Father's Day of 2024. For some reason, I thought this place was called Deanna or Diana Maria, so trying to figure out the correct name took some time. My family enjoys the food here and has been going here for quite some time, too. They enjoy the food here. The vegetables on the pizza and the sauce were not bad. It was just the crust that ruined the experience. Hence, the one-star deduction. The waitress was quite comedic, friendly, and still professional. From starters to dessert here is what I recommend: The Fabio Salad (a salad I created) mixed greens with fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, cucumbers and sundried tomatoes in a homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. We live nearby and Dee Maria's has been one of our go to takeout spots for years. The food is great but something typically seems to go wrong with our orders. We usually get the chicken cutlet and eggplant parmesan special. The chicken is topped with the eggplant and it's so good! It comes with a side of pasta, bread, and a salad. One special is plenty to split between two people. The only issue we had is that there was very little sauce on the pasta. Last time we ordered we also had the fried calamari appetizer. The best Italian food I've ever had is at Dee Maria's. I have been going there since the 1990s and they have ALWAYS had the best eggplant parm ever. Its a great place for a nice family dinner. We love it so much that we use them to cater all of our family parties. You cannot beat the Chicken Parm and Eggplant Rolletini. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is top notch. The orders are always wrong and there is no care taken in the food. Other than a random good slice of pizza the rest of the food is sub par and over priced. I will never go back, I do not care if I have to drive thirty minutes I'll go elsewhere. It is sad that a food establishment thinks you can just serve up garbage. Tonight's order was messed up twice, drive back to correct the first mistake to find upon return there was another error. My first grilled chicken Caesar salad was inedible it was DRENCHED in dressing. The second one came with hot chicken cutlet on top rather than grilled chicken. It's a family owned business and they make sure the service is no less than stellar. The atmosphere is very cozy and makes you feel right at home. My husband and I threw a housewarming party in our new home and we both agreed our favorite food growing up was from DeeMaria's so we decided to have them cater our party. When i tell you the food was amazing i mean every single guest could not stop talking about the food. It was just so good. She has been locked into the house with minimal contact and I'm in Florida I wanted to do something for her to make her smile and I ordered the chicken francese one week and the following week I ordered the chicken marsala both were according to her better than going out to a restaurant. Tried a couple of their speciality pizzas as well as the plain, plain was surprisingly my favorite. I am a huge pizza snob and I could taste that they used good quality ingredients on their pizza. We have been going here since moving in to the area 8 years ago. The service and food has gone downhill and taken Dee Maria's off our list of Pizza places. The last 4-5 experiences have been terrible. Each time we have ordered delivery, the wait time was too long and the pizza has come to us cold, even to the point we had to microwave it before eating. This last time we tried pick-up, hoping it would be better, but it was not. The pizza has changed and tastes very "bready" and the calamari we had was like rubber. I just moved into the area and my boyfriend and I decided to check this place out. We called up to order and when my boyfriend was giving his credit card information the guy on the phone kept pushing for him to put the tip on the card ahead of time. But especially depending on time!). But the person on the phone kept PUSHING to tip now, instead of later. My boyfriend is a patient guy but this really upset him. At least 2 minutes was wasted on this guy trying to get him to tip now. I'm not sure if they've had a problem with it before or what, but not a good way to try to get us to come back. It looks like a lot of people order online which might be a better option. Coming from living in New Jersey the pizza was delicious, re-heated well the next day too. My boyfriend is REALLY picky with pizza and enjoyed it. The garlic bread was delicious and fries were to die for. Their BBQ and honey mustard was good too. I feel like chicken sandwhich was a little 'tough' but was okay. Honestly, if the person on the phone hadn't of pushed us so much this would have been a minimum 4-star review. I own a small business myself, and most of my income from it is tip so I completely understand the phone person, who hell- may have been the driver himself wanting a good or garenteed tip, but one of the biggest rules of customer service is you don't push it.
