Ordered the big cheese: basically a cheeseburger with your choice of cheese and comes with fries, coleslaw and pickle. The place was busy on a Tuesday evening. The bar was full and tables were mostly occupied. This is a great place to go if you want a delicious meal, drinks and/or apps. They do have specials and the menu covers both pastas and other various ethnic eats among the traditional Irish fare Le olde village inn serves. The Dublin fish and chips is pretty authentic, a single huge portion of battered haddock and fries. You can also get it baked. Wings, nachos, French onion soup, pizza, pastas, they have a good selection of items for whatever you're craving. Our orders are always correct and the food is at the right temperatures. Other than the solid delicious food, they make you feel welcomed and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. It's a pub where locals and tourist come to visit. It feels like you're transported to Ireland.

Needless to say, they tasted stale! Fast forward to finding Village Pizza. Let's talk about the customer service, just for a second. I'm telling you their customer service cannot be matched. I have not had exceptional customer service from an establishment and/or pizzeria on day one that does not wither at some point down the line. Until I started ordering from Village Pizza. Everyone, and I mean everyone I've met has been nothing short of delightful. Which is refreshing if you've tried other pizzerias. From remembering names to remembering orders. I have personally seen this treatment of every person that walks through their door. And! The time they tell you it's gonna be ready, is the actual time. Now on to the food. The garlic knots are flaky and flavorful. Pizza is delicious with or without toppings. It's a thinner crust. It's tasted fresh every time and this has become a regular spot so I can't tell you how many times I've ordered from them. Quality food every time. Quality service every time. I've said it once. I'll say it again. I'm a sucker for consistency. I recommend this place to anyone who will listen. Go pay them a visit. I promise you won't regret it.

Greasy, flavorless, a mess of a pie. When Village Pizza changed ownership a few years back I tried a slice, and I never turned back. The Village Pizza slice is on par with any great Brooklyn/NYC spot... Crispy and gooey like a slice should be. The real test? You'll want to eat the whole slice crust and all, no pizza bones left at the end! Those other spots? The crust is pale, doughy, bland. Just because those places have been here longer, or have a more prime location, doesn't mean they're better. In fact, that's probably why they're slacking on their product. No motivation to excell. Village Pizza came out swinging with the best slice in town and they've maintained quality slice after slice after slice. Don't even hesitate, if you're looking for real NYC style pizza forget those other places. Village Pizza is where it's at.

We both ate less than 1/2 our bowls and became sick. First her, then me. Sick sick. Vomiting etc. badly. The next day I called to say my kid and I had gotten sick from the shrimp. I was put on hold, I gave my name and time of pick up and was told "that's not possible you got sick, we had a lot of bowls and no one had problems." I was polite, worried actually for anyone else having shrimp. The staff put me on hold for a good bit and came back and said --" what do you want?" I asked for a refund, which I received.
