Ordered pick up and had to wait 30 mins even though it was a tue night BUT was def worth the wait! Heads up they don't have any seats but they share seatings and space with the brewery next door. You can order and eat inside the brewery or outside and grab a beer from the brewery which is a cool concept. The pies itself were thin and so flavorful. It had like a sweetness in the sauce which made it stand out. Def not a thick slice if that's what you're looking for. Highly recommend giving them a try but order earlier so you don't wait too long. Pies were coming in and out this store nonstop so they are quick with making them but they were so jammed packed busy. Which only means they got some good ass pizza! read more

We ordered online from Pan and Peel Pizza and our food was hot and ready when we arrived for pickup. The Buffalo wings were meaty and tasty - well cooked. The Margarita pizza was tasty with fresh basil. We would have preferred a bit more cheese and less visible crust since it was quite a substantial bit of dough uncovered with toppings. Came here for my birthday (1/21/26) ready to order the chicken parm sandwich to find out that it is no longer on the menu. Seriously, I had a candle for it and everything. Our waitress told us that sandwiches had all been pulled from the menu due to low popularity. In the last year 2 of our favorite items that we regularly come for left the menu. Chicken parm sandwich and Sicilian are both gone. Yes, Sicilian is still available on Sundays, but Sunday is usually impossible for us so to us, it's gone. We ordered Mozz sticks and small vodka roni pizza. As always the Mozz sticks were delicious, but the price jumped from when we were here in December 2025 ($12 to $16 ). We tried the vodka roni pizza which is new to the menu and it was not our favorite. The dough was perfect - strong and well developed and the roni cups beautifully curled, but this pizza didn't need to take a bath in vodka sauce. I can appreciate all the elements that came together for this pie individually, but when it arrived looking like soup in a bread bowl with ronis poking out, I knew that we chose incorrectly. The prices of all the pizza has gone up pretty significantly since the end of 2025. 2 beers, 1 small pizza ($20), and an order of mozzarella ($16) sticks was $54 pre tip. Service was good, but overall this trip was a miss. Please bring back our beloved chicken parm sandwich. read more

Hidden Gem in Pearl River Walking through the main streets, I stumbled upon this small hole-in-the-wall pizza spot. There's no seating area--just a simple walk-up counter--but don't let that fool you. The pizza had a perfectly crispy thin crust, and the seasoning and sauce were spot on. Absolutely delicious. In a town with plenty of choices for pizza, this place was unimpressive. I tried the cheese pizza to get a sampling of something basic. The pizza is 16", however, my pie had at least 2" of plain, flavorless crust on the outside. That made it essentially a 14" pie. The tomato sauce tasted like plain tomato puree and was sour. Sadly, I didn't taste much effort in the sauce and there was barely any cheese on top as well. One person in my family found it salty, but I didn't notice it any different from other pizzas as they are all usually salty. Overall, for $20, this pie was not worth it to me. So many better choices in town. Other places have bigger, tastier basic pizzas that cost less. I have no plans to try it again. read more

Very friendly customer service since we have tried this place 4 times already. We love getting there specials that they offer. I am glad they offer specials during the week. This is the reason why we tried out their establishment. So far pretty good pizza pies. We like the dough they use to make the pizza. I am a sauce guy which they would put a little more. First the good news. The margarita pizza was really good. Thin crust, crispy with fresh ingredients. Bad news is that I ordered a meatball sub and it was definitely one of the worst I have ever had. Meatballs were dry and dense and had no flavor other than a bad after taste. It was not on Italian bread but what I think was soggy and thick pizza dough. I tossed it after it fell apart. Not good. Just moved to the area from Hudson County NJ. I ordered take out so I can't comment on service or ambiance. The pizza, however, is amazing! We got a Caesar salad which I didn't have high expectations but it was fantastic. Just the right amount of dressing and it was a real Caesar dressing not the out of a container from Restaurant Depot. So unsurprisingly there are lots of pizza places in Dutchess county, and the saying about there being no such thing as bad pizza is generally true. That being said there is that very rare occassion when pizza is outrageously great. There are like three other places within a 30 mile radius that I can think of that have pizza as good as tiny little unassuming Pan and Peel...two in Poughkeepsie (Lolita's and Hudson & Packard) and one in Rhinebeck (Posto.) Pound for pound, there is no place in southern Dutchess that makes a better pie than Pan and Peel. Full stop. The dining area is nothing special at all and the service is very standard pizza parlor (friendly and quick, but walk up to the counter, pick your slices, and sit.) And it's a 15 minute drive from Beacon. But I'll happily make that trip to get access to the pizza. Conveninece be damned! read more
