The eggplant with gorgonzola is wonderful . It does not have a name so you have to order it by it's menu number, #1 hero

They catered my son's birthday party for us and did a fantastic job. The food was delicious, ready on time and the portion sizes were huge. Would definitely recommend! read more

review only of cheese slices. Monster sized!! Not bad, somewhat bland. Decent crust. I would try again with toppings. I was intrigued by sign for a platter of 20 mini-calzones to take to an event for $28. read more

Whole wheat margarita pizza is where it's at!!! In Nyack, I have about 3-4 different pizza joints to choose from, but when I want margarita pizza I head to Valley Cottage. I also have to add that although they do not deliver to Nyack, one time when they mixed up our order by mistake, we called just to let them know (not in a rude way!), not expecting anything, they immediately sent a driver over the mt. to our Nyack apt. to deliver the correct food. read more

A nice little pizza place, with good pizza (which is what counts). There's a nice atmosphere inside too, and the staff members are friendly. They also have things that aren't pizza. read more

Great local family owned pizza place. I would recommend their giant white slices for a quick bite and their chicken Marsala dinner for a meal. Their portions are very generous and I always have leftovers. read more

I've lived in the community for about 25 years now and I so badly want to like this place. However, every time I choose to give it a chance the pizza is always too doughy and undercooked. I've never had a positive experience here but like I said, continuously try to. read more

We get pizza here almost every week we think it's the Best Pizza in Rockland. Everyone that works there is super friendly and since we order the same thing all the tome they prep it as we walk through the door. Love this place. read more

I love the salad slice so worth it! I used to live in north Rockland and I happened to move close to this place. However, I would hour of my way to drive here for the pizza when I didn't live close by. Good food and the owner is so nice. read more

Since I moved to Valley Cottage 12 years ago and live within walking distance I can say I know Dee Marias and the food is consistently good if not great. I can't even count how many times I've eaten there.I see there are some bad reviews, they do get very busy and have a staff...all you have to do is ask Pat and he will fix whatever is wrong...Besides the BEST Pizza Margherita (I like the whole wheat), the veal marsala & roasted potatoes are very good...The BEST crunchy and delicious sautéed broccoli ever...even kids love it! If you want the pasta al dente ask for it that way! It's terrific pizza place fare and the people that own and work there are always nice even when busy! Try it!! read more

I go here a lot when staying up by my parents with my kids. It's quick, delicious, and the staff are always nice. The chicken parmigiana is delicious and pasta va fogli is also great. The service is quick and is always easy for takeout or sitting in. read more

I was in there tonight and Mike Francesa walked in. He ordered a slice of "pizzer". He also mentioned he lost power during the recent storm, but thank God he had "two generatahs". Then we argued about which ballparks have the cleanest bathrooms while he ate his pizzer, which he said was "outrageous". I give this place a 5 out of 5, which is 1 out of 1 reduced. read more

I placed an order for pick up and was told 44 minutes. I arrived 50 minutes after my order was placed paid and left. Drove down the road to find out they gave me the wrong thing so i went back and told them, and i found out they didn't even start to make my food. They gave me an undercooked pizza and still charged me more than it normally would've cost because they screwed up charging me for the wrong pizza in the first place. Would never go back there again. read more

Been getting food from here for years. The margarita pizza is the best. On the regular we have had the broccoli rabe and sausage (great) calzones and rice-balls always great as well as the eggplant rollatini and the heros. We probably order once a week the driver is always nice and the food comes pretty quick read more

Terrible service! The food isn't great either. Don't waste your time or money at this establishment.

Dee Maria's establishment is managed poor in the Evening. I've been bypassed on line by a "regular" customer just ordering a few slices, didn't say a word. I had to wait what felt like 5 minutes just to get my order taken another night when there was close to no customers with a full staff. The pizza is mediocre, flavorless sauce, spongey crust & slices are big. There is an older man & woman who manage the place on the weekend early in the afternoon who are sweet and make sure customers are taken care of. Not sure how they got runner up for best pizza in Rockland. For pizza try Martios(good service, food, ambiance), Posa posa(good pizza), Nicky's 2(good pizza/service) & Turiellos(good pizza/great service). read more

Awesome pizza place in Rockland! Picked up a few pies and everything came out great. Highly recommend the grandma slices, they were awesome! May be my go to spot in all of Rockland! read more

Much more than just a pizzeria, my wife Colleen, granddaughter Olivia, and grandson TJ enjoy this restaurant almost every Thursday. Every veal dish on the menu is excellent, I've had them all. The "Stallone" is a real treat, sauteed chicken breast smothered with spinach, portabello's and mozzarella. Collen's favorite meal is the chicken cachatore, a simple dish but there red sauce is something special. Four year old Olivia thinks the pasta with garlic & oil is the best and 6 month old TJ loves the milk. Deemarias is located three miles from Nyack which is Rockland County's key in the Rivertowns. read more

ordered the chicken marsala with roasted potatoes. the bread was stale, the potatoes as well as salad were minuscule in size. $16.99 plus tax is steep for just chicken (even though it does taste good, but it's pretty hard to mess up). I wonder if they put the same amount of pasta into that small foil tin. I looked at the rest of the menu; the ideas of their dishes sound delicious but let's be real: if the main entree is the only thing that tastes good and the rest isn't, it's not worth their inflated prices or the driving up and down crazy hills to this remote spot. I've also never had ranch already sprinkled on my salad. well, it's like getting authentic mexican food and the only thing on the plate that is worthwhile is the taco in the middle. I must really have loved the mushrooms to give this many stars. read more

Dutan And Duffy Restauran - the main dish is excellent. confused about the stale bread and toddler sides. - Pizza Near Me - Valley Cottage, New York

This is the best local pizza around the area. Very friendly and homey atmosphere sphere. Definitely worth the money .

Pat is the man! Hands down the best slice you can get in Rockland County. Due to the hard water in Rockland, and the low population of real NY Italians pizza is scarce in this region. Everything they make here is made with care and fresh ingredients read more

This is probably my favorite pizza in Rockland County. The staff are all very nice, and just about any dish on the menu is good, authentic Italian. Delivery usually takes 30-40 minutes if you live in the VC/Congers area. Great place to take the kids after a baseball game, practice, or just a nice Sunday meal. The restaurant is usually packed and pretty loud on the weekends. If you're looking for ambiance or a romantic dinner, then this is not the place for you.. Come for the food and the noise. It's all good! read more

My favorite Italian/Pizza restaurant in Rockland County!!! Try the Fabio Salad with Seafood also the Chicken Francaise. Absolutely delicious! Great service. read more

We order pizza from this place every weekend almost and it never fails to be consistently awesome. But it's not just the pizza it's the sandwiches as well. As well as the calamari and sautéed spinach and the wings are great!!! Gotta come here read more

This pizza was edible but it was kind of tough to chew. The crust was like cardboard and it lacked cheese along with flavor in the sauce. I was starving when I ate it so its good in a pinch. read more

This is a great local Italian place that serves great food at reasonable prices with good portions. Everything is fresh, and the service is good. The Chicken Parm is huge and I usually bring 40% of it home for my lunch the next day. Another favorite is the seafood salad, for less than $20.00 it is loaded with shrimp, squid, clams, mussels, scallops and just the right amount of dressing. The decor is just like a pizza place but you cannot eat the decor. If you are looking for good italian food in a local neighborhood setting this is the place. Take out is also good but sometimes it is faster to get a table and order. read more

Best Margherita slice I've ever had! Now I tell people Margherita is my favorite kind of pizza because of this place. They also make an amazing Brooklyn slice too. Prices are better than Valley Pizza which is close by. My only turn off is that if you're not a regular, you feel a bit out of place as the staff is short and doesn't really interact with you unless you're a VIP. read more

Have taking out the grandma pizza from here over 30 times. I get the same thing every time the grandma pie with extra cheese. I have never been disappointed. The review is strictly for this one item only as I have never gotten anything else from here. In my opinion best grandma pie in Rockland county. read more

Great customer service. Was treated very quickly and well. Great food. Tasted like true Italian cuisine.

Dee Maria's is a pretty great place to spend a pizza craving. I recently went here with my parents, and found myself pleasantly surprised. First of all, we've lived here for years, but I don't think we've ever crossed over to this side of Kings Highway. When we did stumble upon it, we were SUPER dooper excited, because it looked and smelled great inside. Just like a pizza place should! The space is casually set up, but there are great waitresses that seat you pretty promptly. The menu is extensive, but we went there for the pizza. I ordered a personal size with mushroom and broccoli rabe, and my parents ordered an eggplant / mozzarella / tomato pie. We also got an appetizer of fried zucchini. Our food was served as it was ready, and it was HOT each time it came out. The zucchini sticks were perfect! There are a ton in the order, and come with a cup of piping hot marinara sauce. The sticks and the sauce are great. The sticks are not at all greasy, and definitely taste like they were homemade, not frozen and reheated. The pizza came out pretty soon after, and was also excellent. My personal sized pizza was greatly portioned with the delicious toppings I wanted. It was perfect and tasted so good. The crust is thin, the cheese was great, and the sauce was delicious! The perfect NY pizza! My parents pie was a little bit more fancy, and a little heavy / soggy because of how much was on it, but it tasted great. It was just super filling. Overall, we had a hearty lunch for 3 for $30 or so, and we had nearly 4 pieces of pizza to take home. Maybe 5. I stopped counting how much I ate once I broke my belt (figuratively, not literally). Go here. It's totally worth your time, money, and gas. Also, wear an expandable pant or elastic waistband. It's so delicious, you'll want to keep stuffing yourself! read more

THIS PLACE!! I go tanning next door at Paradise Tanning (ALSO FANTASTIC) and today I thought I'd get a slice. I got the Bruschetta slice. Let me tell you, I couldn't eat this thing fast enough! It was wonderful! There had to be a whole tomato and a half on there and the crust was just the right crispy chewy combo you want. Absolutely Brilliant! Highly highly recommend this place. read more

Ordered online on Seamless and had a wonderful experience. Pizza came right on time. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza for my fiancé and a couple of people and a Cheese calzone for a friend. No complaints and everything was delicious to the crust! Even the lady who took my order was very friendly and patient on the phone. Next time I'm in Valley Cottage and In the mood for pizza...I'm calling this place ASAP! Thanks :) read more

Living in Rockland (grew up in the boroughs of NYC) there are very few good/authentic pizza places in Rockland. Lucky Deemarias does it right. Get their eggplant pie, epic! Since they are closed on mondays, head towards Pie Man's Cottage. read more

Their chicken Franchise is to die for!!!! Portions are huge(normally have to take some home & have enough for lunch the next day)! All of the meals there are terrific! read more

While I can't say that their "regular" pizza is the best I've ever had, it is excellent and is better than 90% if what's out there. What does stand out is the colossal size of the regular slices. I've had some topping pizzas there and the penne pizza is very good and a meal in itself. Now what is outstanding is the following: 1) The owner is a wonderful guy and always there to ensure all is smooth sailing 2) The Margarita (Grandma's) pizza IS among the best if not THE best I've ever had. Awesome sweet sauce (my guess is San Marzano tomatoes) and fresh mozz. Perfect balance of sauce, cheese, basil and crispy, but not too crispy crust. 3) The calzones are off the chart. The cheese might be the best I'm ever had and the meat is great --- and I don't like meat in my calzones, ravioli or lasagna -- and yet I order it here quite often. One word of caution: They are small (almost like a huge ravioli) so they might not be what one normally expects if you're thinking of a calzone the size of a second baseman's mitt! It's been a long time since I ordered "sit down" food at DeeMaria's so I'll reserve judgement on that except that I used to order a shrimp and spinach over penne with garlic and oil that was awesome, so I'm pretty sure that their pasta is fine. My only criticism is that the decor is outdated and it's not a place that you particular like to hang out at. It's not an "old school joint" like Nanuet Restaurant or Martio's (both of which are kinda neat) but more outdated early-Reagan.Drafty as hell too. However, the pizza and food blows both of those places away. This being said, you don't go to DeeMaria's for "atmosphere" --- but it wouldn't hurt to upgrade and add a booth here and there. read more

Dee Maria's has the BEST pizza in this area. I have worked in this area for over six years and I love love love pizza, so I have tried all the pizza places in the surrounding areas and Dee Maria's is the BEST! Plus they have awesome chicken cutlet, grilled chicken, chicken Marsala, and pasta. I highly recommend this pizzeria...eat-in, take-out, or delivery. They are closed on Mondays. read more

What's a Friday night without Dee Maria's? A tasteless night. Always hits the spot with great food!

This is what a neighborhood pizza place should be like (and I don't even live in that neighborhood). The food is incredibly good, the margarita pizza is the very best I've ever had, the staff is straight forward and friendly (and remembers you). It's not fancy, it's not "dining", it's pizza. Very, very good pizza. The white slice with tomatoes is also sublime. As is the chicken marsala with melted provolone. The chicken rolls are pretty yummy, too. read more
