I have been a loyal customer since they were in the greendale mall. Not anymore. Service and quality have gone way down while prices keep going up. I most recently came in for a basic pedicure. She rushed thru it. Did not actually rub my legs or feet with the salt scrub and didn't even help cut my ingrown nails like they always do. For $40 I was in and out in just under 30 minutes and my nails chipped within a week (they used to last weeks without chipping but the more they water down the polish the less time it lasts) Between this bad experience and a bad nail experience at the Millbury location I will be going elsewhere from now on. read more

Had a FABULOUS pedicure with Tina on Friday. One of the best I've ever had! The atmosphere in the salon was so calm, quiet and helped me to reset after the long work week. My pedicure itself was pleasant, thorough and the gel on my toes is painted perfectly. I love when I can verbally mention a nail color and the tech go grab it, saving me the hassle of cluelessly looking around. I normally try to go up to Millbury, if I'm in that area, but they never seem to have openings for walk ins and they won't take a res without a deposit which I don't prefer to do since I don't live super close and my schedule is constantly changing. Needed a day out with the girls and we decided on this nail salon in Worcester. My nails have been in recovery since I just got dipping powder and wanted my nails to rest by getting regular polish French. Lucy was really great and I asked her to just reshape my nails and keep the length (since I've been growing them out so I can have a cute French tip. Today I decided to get a pedicure just myself I got the one with the hot stones. My God it was AMAZING !!!! I had JESS actually this is the 2nd time I got her. As soon as I got there I checked in and she came out to get me asap and helped me pick out a pretty pink. Got a gel manicure with design that cost $49 plus tip. The gel started to peel within a few days. I went in a week after getting them done to see if they could fix for free and their policy is "within 3 days" that doesn't even make sense when gel should last 2-3 weeks. I won't be returning to this place. I was a LOYAL customer for over a decade, and I thought they valued me and appreciated my business. I made an appointment for 2 PM on a Sunday. Yet, when I arrived at 2 PM, the woman at the desk asked me if I'd gotten her message. I hadn't looked at my phone at all; I'd been out in the yard and then driving. She had called me at 12 to find out where I was. ??? Apparently, my appointment was recorded for 12 PM instead of 2 PM. I insisted that I would never have made a 12:00 appointment since I couldn't come then. I showed them my calendar on my phone, with the 2 PM appointment there. I was basically told they were fully booked and couldn't take me. WOW. I was stunned to be turned away, when I showed up for the appointment I booked. How about squeezing me in and blaming the person who screwed up? I won't be back, and I guess they won't miss me. I remember following them from the Greendale Mall, and at first when they opened on Park Ave, the manager expressed concern that they didn't have many customers yet. Anna must have asked me 10 times if I wanted a gel manicure, since I was getting a gel pedicure. I kept telling her & the person next to her that I just wanted a basic manicure. Also, she and another worker kept talking in their language the whole time during my pedicure, turning around and chatting, seemed like they were talking about people. It was not relaxing, very little leg massage and felt rushed. BTW, they charge you a lot to remove a previous gel pedicure. You can't leave a tip on your card if you pay by debit/credit so they offer an ATM with a fee...so you can pay a fee or not tip! So dumb! I refuse to get my nails done here..ever again! The paint job I have received numerous times looks like a four year old did them! "Everyone knows to avoid this place". Awful time here. I used to go here for years throughout high school but moved away for college, I'm now back in the area and got a gel manicure and pedicure. To start they couldn't make it more obvious they didn't want to be working. Both my technicians left me waiting while they'd go walk around, text on their phone, etc. I got a gel manicure Friday night, it's now the following Thursday and my nails are already chipping, like the nail polish is PEELING off my nail. Gel manicures tend to last me the full two weeks without chipping and honestly it's normally the nail growth that causes me to get rid of the manicure, not the state of the nail polish. This was my 3rd experience at Creative Nails-Worcester. First time was good. Second time, very bad. Third time- I decided to give it another try. Unfortunately 2/3 experiences were awful. The nail technicians were insulative, demeaning, and painful. One technician asked me to pay and tip her before she did my manicure. The second technician told me that she doesn't have time to do gel manicure. There is no money in that. I should do dip powder and that she was too busy to do gel. She then proceeded to tell me that next time I should schedule with other technicians because she doesn't want to waste time on doing gel. Another customer came by and asked if I was okay because she perceived the technician to being rough with my nails and hands and that this wasn't right that I should complain. I shared that even if I complained to the manager, they are all friends and nothing will become of it. I left the nail salon feeling disappointed and demeaned. If i could put zero stars I honestly would. Ive noticed over the years the service has changed. This was my second time having issues with creative (park ave). the first time I booked an appt for an acrylic big toe with gel polish pedicure, and they told me no, and that it "was up to the nail tech." they kept insisting that I did not need acrylic, and in the end she did not give me what I booked for my appt. This time last week, I booked an appointment for the same thing. One big toe was shaved too far down and was left paper thin, while the other toe had THICK acrylic. Not to mention she missed multiple spots on the french tip. And to top ot off while getting my pedicure she did not ask me once if I liked the design or anything. I had to stop her mid track and ask her to go back and fix it. They over charged me $84, when I booked a refill. Once I called and let them know my concerns about how my nails came out she questioned me, and insinuated that I was not being truthful. The next day I went back, and the lady who did my toes still did not see an issue with the way my toes were done. I had to tell her which correction to make and how to it. I scheduled an appt today, June 5, 2023. I went in and the staff was very nice which was good, although i told my nail tech exactly what i wanted - which was a French tip with a thinner white tip. Not only did i not get even remotely close to what I asked for, but she also refused to fix it and clearly ignored my requests. I spoke up about them not really being what I asked for (which is extremely out of my comfort zone) and she did nothing to help me out or fix them to my liking. After looking at them, i am seeing a lot of imperfections like bubbles and specks in my nails. They are hard to see in photos but in person they are clearly there and visible. In addition to the nail tech not doing what I asked for, refusing to fix them, and the imperfections, during my appt, the tech killed a fruit fly, wiped it on the paper towel she was using to wipe the excess acrylic on, and (I'm sure accidentally) picked up the dead fly and wiped it on my nail. She could have changed the paper towel for sanitary purposes but she didn't. Despite it being an accident and wiping it off my nail, that doesn't change how unsanitary and just simply disgusting that is. I am really unhappy with the finished product and i will be calling to request compensation of some sort. read more

Went for a gel fill in - what seemed to be somewhat pleasant turned quickly. I noticed from the beginning my nail tech was so invested in who was coming in and out of the salon- which was extremely annoying because she would almost cut me several times from not looking at my hands. The Nail tech was nice - though very distracted- that is until I asked if it was possible to do a design. She quickly turned almost yelling at me for my request- even saying "we charge a lot of money for designs, you might not be able to pay it!" Which I was shocked to hear, it's not my first time going to a salon- so I know the extra charges for services. I was just asking a question. I tried to back out as soon as she started to be cold- but she did it anyways. She then switched up and began speaking sweetly again. As soon as she was finished, she said "thank you, even though you requesting things last minute and were giving me a hard time." I didn't reply, I was shocked. I paid and left her a tip. I would have totally understood if she said a simple NO to the design if she didn't want to do it, rather than her being so rude. I know we all have our off days, and I hope it was just a slip up on her end. Let me just say when you first walk into the place, it's very eye catching to see the aesthetic decor and modern/contemporary design inside the building. The receptionist(s) are very polite and friendly. What's great is that they have freshly made detox water with different flavors everyday in case customers are quenched with thirst. The seating area is very comfy and magazines to keep you busy while waiting. The pedicure area is very quiet and relaxing while the manicure area is busy and efficient. I'm the type of person who barely gets their nails done but when I do want to get my nails done I come to the right place. I often do a walk-in and to my surprise there's always a tech available for me. I love getting a French Nail Pedicure from Thu, she's very friendly as well heartwarming and caring. She would check in on me from time to time if I needed anything or if anything was wrong (very attentive). This is the only place I go to if I want to wax my eyebrows and Tam is the person you want to go to if you want an amazing shape on your eyebrows. She knows exactly what I want without me explaining more in details. Each Nail Tech, Pedicurist, Manicurist, etc. have a special personality to them which makes each spa/salon special in their own little way. Sometimes we need to think before we type. If the nail tech did something wrong or not to your liking please let them know because first of all we're all HUMANS and we make MISTAKES all the time. Telling them right then and there will help resolve the problem. You're helping them with a favor that there will be not another problem like that to a future customer. I received a gift card for creative nail and thought I would try the one in Worcester. I just wanted a polish change. The manicurist removed my black nail polish, leaving some black polish on the side of my nails. I went with it as I changed it to a maroon. Ya..... nope. The maroon color bleed into the sides of my nail bed - as she didn't try to hard to get the polish off. I Just wanted to get out of there. Unpleasant vibe from walking in the door to polishing. Polish was super sticky- which I can only assume is the quality of the product they use. I get my nails done at a different salon in Worcester and never have I seen tacky looking Polish at my usual place. I have driven by this place for years and will never go back. read more

Could not find the confirmation on my phone while I was on site, since I booked it a week in advance so I drove back home, found the appt. confirmation in my e-mail and forwarded it to them. I can only speak for nail services here. I can't tell you how many times I've driven past this salon and I finally had a chance check it out recently. Parking is tight here due to there being several other businesses in the plaza. However, once you step into this salon there's a complete transformation. The decor is trendy, the salon is spacious, the staff are coordinated and professional, it's an all around great experience. They have a decent selection of colors and the wait time wasn't too bad for a Saturday morning. There are plenty of chairs and even more staff (at least this is true for the weekends, I'm not sure about weekdays). I would definitely go back. read more

There are quite a few Creative Nail Spas in the area and I've been to several. This is the only one I repeatedly come to, and for several reasons. With the exception of the first time I came, which was during the first few weeks of being open, I've gotten in promptly for a walk-in service. They offer a variety of pedicures which are clearly explained on a menu (which has improved with time). It is because I walk in that I can say one gotten a good or better pedicure every time I've come in with a different technician every time. Polishes are neatly organized and there is a good variety. The pedicure room is large, spacious, and typically quiet. There is more activity in the manicure section; here everyone is focused on efficiency, which makes the calm of the pedicure room even more inviting and relaxing. By contrast to other Creative Nail Spa, this is the only one worth my money. Heads up: they do accept cards for payment, but not for tip. read more
