I don't know how this place stays in business. Honestly. It's dirty, the woman who runs the place is hostile, and the quality of the manicure was terrible. I went there with my daughter, and I don't think they realized that we were together, and they treated my daughter very poorly until I intervened. I'm usually not one to complain or write negative reviews, but this is the worst nail salon I've ever encountered. I went in for a gel manicure, which was done by Lisa. It took almost TWO hours for a simple manicure. After I was done, I noticed the nail polish was smudged all over my fingers and nail tips. I called the salon and asked if I could come in after to work to get them fixed, in which they agreed to. When I sat down with a new color, the owner said I would have to pay $12 if I wanted to change the color - but if I kept the same color, it would be free, which does not make any sense! They were going to take the polish off anyways, so why did it matter? I decided to get up and leave. There was no way I was going to pay an additional $12 on the $27+ tip I paid earlier for the manicure when it wasn't my mistake. The owner did not even apologize for the inconvenience. I had the worst experience at this salon. I went to get a dip manicure and it came out horrible. Every single nail was smudged and my fingers were stained from the color of dip. They also charged me an extra $5 for a cuticle remove that made me bleed. When I brought up these concerns they challenged me. They would not even be reasonable about a refund when they clearly did not care about how my nails were done. I had to leave and collect my thoughts because they were so over priced. I went in after a second and they still challenged me and would not give me a refund. I will never go here again. My friend had to go back in and complain and scream to get my money back. They don't care about you or your time. They just care about the money and that's it. Don't go, you will regret it. read more

After reading mixed reviews, I decided to try 2000 nails for a mani/pedi. Called on a Friday an hour before closing to see if they could take me and the employees were more than willing to take me, and offered to stay open late if I was running behind. Pedi was amazing, did not feel rushed at all, and they used not stones for the leg and foot massage which was a pleasant surprise. Manicure was just as efficient. Lasted 7 days before chipping, and it was not a gel manicure! The employees were extremely pleasant and my experience was great. My favorite place doesnt open til 11 on Sundays, so I went here. This was my second French pedicure at nails 2000: they just don't know how to do it right. Last time they used a white top coat over my entire nail - it looked weird. This time I asked for something more pink. They offered two options, which were more pink than the natural I had in mind. After she applied the pink, I told her it was too much. The owner came over --with EXACTLY the right shade - more neutral than bubble gum pink. However an additional layer didn't tone down the pink. I left Then I called and said the color just wasn't right -could they fix it? The owner said "it your fault. You wanted pink." I'm no expert on French pedis - but know what looks good and what doesn't. Mine toes look terrible. Lousy service, lousy attitude. This review applies only to regular pedicures. (I don't get manicures.) Pros: $25 for a regular pedicure. They give you a couple of coats of polish. They give you a top coat. The polish stays on for weeks! Looks good. Small place. TV isnt always blaring some sort of headache-inducing daytime drama. Sometimes include massage w/regular pedicure. Nice massage chairs. Clean environment. Lots of natural light. Cons: Massage not always done w/ regular pedicure. "Massage" sometimes is done only with a weird vibrating thing. I'd describe it more. But I don't even wanna go there. I wish they just used normal massage (manual) methods. TV. (Any TV in the background is annoying to me, but other people might like the TV.) Conclusion: best deal in the area. Beats Lux (Milford) and other places in Hopkinton and Westborough that I've tried. The polish jobs here at Nails 2000 just last longer. I used to love this place but they've hired some people with horrible attitudes that really do a bad job. When you walk in there are 3 girls seated on the left. They are nice they do good work most of the time. They are not at all friendly non of them are. One young man that does nails there always seems angry and won't listen to s single request.He has a Mohawk He doesn't talk and just looks like he hates his job. Another older woman in the right of door in the back does the worst job I've ever seen. If you get any acrylics they will fall off the next day. It's happened to myself and my friends when she's done them. She's also so rude. Never been treated worse. They are expensive and for the money go somewhere else where you will be treated like a valued customer read more

OK I'm super picky with my nails. Went to a different nail place yesterday 12/31/17 based on review paid 26$ for a simple fix and Polish change. Left very unhappy. Then today 1/1/18 I stop by this lil place nails 2000. Walked in and at first I was hesitate after paying $26 less then 24 hr earlier and to my surprise I haven't been able to stop looking at my nails Chinh did a great job re shaping my nails and doing my gel Polish change. Strange place- it was a Thursday night which appears to be busy and they only have 3-4 people working. Customers kept coming in and they actually had to send people away. I came in for a shellac mani pedi. I was given a pedicure with hot stones without asking which was nice. I was a bit disappointed when he didn't get all of the dead skin off my heels. Then my nail tech pulled out a "vibrator" and started massaging my feet and legs with it...seriously. Manicure and pedicure both came out very nice and lasted a long time. read more

came here today on my lunch break looking for a quick fill. this was after I had already gone over to extreme nails in the ocean state job lot plaza and tey told me it would be a 45 minute wait for a fill.. there were TWO clients in there; one getting a manicure and one getting a pedicure. so I laughed and walked out thank god for nails 2000. there were 4 clients being helped and plenty of staff available. I've been going to this salon for months and finally said enough. I kept giving them chances and decided I would not waste my money any more. They do not sterilize their tools and every customer does not get clean tools. I don't think the other reviewers are being very charitable. I have been here twice, once for a fill and once for a regular manicure/pedicure. They do a great job! The place is very nice with all new pedicure chairs and furniture. I find the prices very reasonable and I am OCD about my nails so my stamp of approval is not easily gotten if you are a nail salon. Great pedicure with hot stones. A little distracting that the staff next to me was watching something loudly on her phone then fell asleep in the chair next to me. The board of health needs to pay a visit here. Since when is it okay to have a nail tech play with a dog even keeping it on her lap while they do your nails? This happens here all the time with two small dogs allowed to roam around the shop. Operators pick up the dogs, pet and play with them and work on clients without washing their hands. Disgusted. I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure this morning (my first in a about a million years) and it was wonderful. I got there shortly after opening and didn't have to wait at all. A friendly young woman took her time with me and made sure my nails were absolutely perfect. She tried a nail art design from a picture I brought in and it came out beautifully. This is my first experience with a gel manicure and it was awesome to walk out the door with totally dry, durable nails. I will definitely be back! read more

Very disappointed and frustrated. I went in for a mani and ended up with a nasty infection on one of my fingers! I got the dip manicure and found out shortly after that I am pregnant. Now I have to take an antibiotic while carrying my first child and I am not happy about it. My finger is throbbing. This was the first and last time I will ever step foot in your shop. Owner is extremely rude and does not care if you express dissatisfaction with a service. Worst pedi ever. I never write bad reviews and this place is exceptionally bad. I asked if they could just cut and file my nails because I'm going on vacation. I get pedi's every 2 weeks. There nail files are old and they left them jagged and uneven, and then told me that I needed to pay extra if I wanted them smooth. After I asked they got very upset and tried to embarrass me in front of the other customers. Their tools are worn out, files do not even have grit left.
