Absolutely the worst expensive gel manicure and pedicure that I have had. First of all the pedicure chairs are very uncomfortable. The lady not only took forever on me but ended up cutting me too. The gel manicure was already peeling when I got home because she had painted my skin as well. They also knew that I was very unhappy and bleeding and still charged me full price! For the high prices that they charge it was not worth it. I will not be going back. Very disappointed that my relaxing Mother's Day present was not relaxing at all!! read more

My sister, mom, 4 year old niece and I went here today for a mini girls day to get manicures. The shop itself was adorable, clean and bright with none of the usual nail salon chemical smell. They had a relatively small selection of colors, but they had plenty of pinks and purples for the little one to choose from. She also got to pick a design for two of her nails, and immediately honed in on the princess crowns. Diva indeed. ;-) The kiddo sized manicure table was adorable, and the girl who did her nails did an amazing job on such tiny fingers! We had a slight smudging incident when she moved to another chair to sit with her mom, and the manicurist quickly stepped in to fix it to avoid a meltdown. They looked perfect when we left! For the grownups, it was a standard but well done mani. My French looks fabulous, though I have just a little bubbling in my topcoat on one nail. I wish the massage had been a little longer, but I almost always wish the massage was a little longer! And all the instruments came out of individually sealed packages, very clean. The dryers were great, too... Warm air fans, which I prefer to the light dryers. And the price was right... $16 for the adult mani, with the standard extra $5 for French. Given that they have a "hook" with the kiddo manis, I appreciated that they didn't charge adults a ton more just because they could. The staff couldn't have been any nicer, and they have lollipops for the kids. There was a birthday party going on while we were there, too, which looked like so much fun! Hi, I have been getting my nails done, every 2 weeks for over 6 yrs. I have been getting gel polish on the acrylic for 2yrs now. This is the first and only time, before the 2 weeks mark, the gel polish has chipped, peeled off and not lasted 2 weeks. I'm extremely un-pleased with the service, and the quality of the service I received. I will never return nor recommend to others. read more

I had an appointment scheduled with them for today at 1:30 for two, but unfortunately my friend had to cancel. I called to make it just for one out of courtesy a few hours beforehand. I was running late by the time my appointment came around (happens a lot in my line of work) but luckily I only work about 5-10 minutes away. Now I live in Worcester, about 30 minutes outside of Westborough, but my office is close by so I decided to go here on my lunch break as opposed to another location. I made sure to thoroughly check their website before even booking an appointment. "For optimum availability, Mamas N Divas recommends that you book your next appointment prior to leaving our salon. Please be prompt for your appointment. If you are more than 30 minutes late, we will consider your appointment canceled because it creates inconvenience to the next customer. If you arrive late, you will need to wait for the next available technician. On occasion, our nail technicians may not be able to assist you for your appointment due to sickness or family emergencies. In those cases, we will do our best to find you another nail technician at your scheduled time or reschedule with your regular technician." I made sure to call ahead to book it, and even called when the appointment info changed. I was maybe 10 minutes late and when I arrived, someone else had already taken my slot. There was no offer to reschedule, and I was told they have already "given my appointment to someone else". I shrugged my shoulders said "Sorry" and walked out. As I was leaving I heard, who I only assume was the manager say "really?" with quite a bit of attitude. The place had one other client maybe other than the person that had taken my spot. I hope their business isn't that slow all the time because I won't be going back. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

I have been going to Mamas n Divas since it opened. I go religiously every 2 weeks and and treat myself to my manis and pedis often because Kim offers the cleanest nail salon out there. While the tubs may not have jets or the chairs may not have massaging buttons, the staff speaks to you and interacts with you in English, and treats you like you are coming into their home. You don't feel rushed or mistreated. Kim and her staff are kind, courteous and they sincerely enjoy caring for their clients. I recommend this salon daily, buy gift certificates for friends, family and teachers, because I want to share my love for my favorite nail salon. I pass the word, because if they are busy, then Kim and her staff will be around for a long time! read more

Love going to Mamas & Divas for my gel manicure. They are so nice and friendly and I can usually get in last minute instead of booking in advance. There are so many color choices to choose from and they do exactly what you ask. I don't like my cuticles cut so they just clean up what needs to be and then they look great. I usually see CeCe but have had Danielle and others are all great. Everyone is welcoming and friendly, even the other clients. I don't think I have had a pedicure there. The kids mani is great you get a design, buff, file, and a top coat for only $12! But chips fast. My daughters pedicure did not stay as long as other places. I usually have to take the polish off after 3 weeks, otherwise, nice place. Many color options and designs. Nice, experienced people work there. read more

I have been a regular customer at Mamas and Divas since it opened 4 years ago. It was there I was introduced the the gel manicure which was life changing for me. I can go for two and sometimes three weeks between manicures, which it makes it far more economical and convenient than traditional polish. The service is always outstanding and I am treated with courtesy and respect by every employee I encounter. Most importantly, they sterilize their equipment! If anyone has ever been a victim of a fungal infection from a dirty nail salon, they will understand the importance of having the peace of mind that every effort is made to maintain a clean and safe working environment. My favorite guilty pleasure are the days I get both a manicure and pedicure. Hat's off to Mama's and Divas. read more

Decided to join a friend for an after work relaxing mani/pedi only to have left disappointed. We started out with a pedi, the water was luke warm after asking for the water to be hotter, they ended up adding hot water from their tea machine to accommodate. There were no jets in the tub so that was disappointing. They did not massage or use any kind of scrub on our legs/feet, all we received was oil mixed with lotion for a quick rub down. Next was followed by receiving a Shellac manicure, the colors were scarce so i had to work around that. I had shown the nail tech a picture on my phone of nails that i wanted. I ask her if she could do this, she assured me she could... i had asked for all my nails to be a light pink with a Chevron design on my ring finger, well the "Chevron" print she did, looks like she painted this with her eyes closed, was really disappointing and the "pink" turned out to be a nude/peach color on my nails. Very disappointed. Meanwhile this was going on, my friend was getting her nails done by an extremely rude nail tech. My friend had asked the lady to file her nails down a bit and the lady refused and told her, " NO, i do not like to go that short" her nails were longer than mine, they were not short what so ever. Then, when my friend leaned over to me to ask my advice on a color to chose, the lady rudely interrupted us and said, "Did you pick your color yet"? we were appalled by this behavior. Overall we were extremely displeased with the service here and performance from the nails techs. We will never go back. read more

Adorable, clean, chic and friendly salon. There decor is much more playful (though no juvenile) than most salons and their prices are similar to other salons in the area. I am a big pedicure fan and found there's to be a particularly nice one. Clean and new baths for tootsies and a calf massage to rival any other. They also offer some specialized services like minx nails, shellac, and were the first I saw to have the crackle polish. My only complaints would be they don't have the massaging chairs and also their polish selections were pretty conservative (primarily reds, pinks, dark colors) but I wouldn't let that stop me from going again and again! read more

I booked three pedicures (one for me and my two daugthers). I had reserved a week prior. When we got there the lady said we did not have an appoitment. I know I booked one because we were going on a trip and I made sure to call a week before hand. She never once appologized or tried to accomodate us. We were just told we never made one and to go on our way. What happened to customer service??? We had been there before without an incidents, but we will not ever be going back. Very Bad! I always go there to get my nails done but this time my one nail got chipped in 4 days after i did my nails for which i called and spoke to someone in reception and asked Tina from Westborough to fix it as it was looking very shabby, But they denied saying they dont have time at all as it would hardly take them 5 - 10mins but because it was just fixing they did not take my request. I was a regular of this salon as I was extremely happy with the quality and service of my nail tech. That being said, I absolutely refuse to ever spend another dime in this salon however due to the owner's (Kim) unprofessional and rude attitude towards both her staff and customers. On numerous occasions she has put down her staff in front of myself and others and has been rude to me as well. In my last experience there, I made an appointment online days prior but was unaware that my preferred tech was out all week sick and does not have access to her calendar at home. When I arrived for my appointment, Kim was waiting for me to tell me that "My tech was not in and she just didn't bother to tell me because the two of us have exchanged numbers" (for a personal reason in the past.) She then offered to have the same nail tech who she has degraded her work do my nails even though in the past I have stated I would only work with my preferred tech. Since I came with a friend who also had an appointment, I had to wait in the car while she got her manicure. The time before this she told me I screwed everything up coming in early when I came in exactly at the time I requested. The time before that she cancelled my appointment at the last minute even though my tech was available. I have never been treated this way by a business I was giving my hard earned money to. There are way too many salon options to accept anything less than being pampered and treated with respect. I will never go there again. read more
