I have been coming to this salon for 15+ years, and have never had a bad experience. My favorite manicure is the dip, which lasts for weeks ... even when the nails are showing a lot of growth, the polish looks fresh. Love the pedicures, my feet feel new. I'll get a dip every 2-3 weeks, and pedicure every 4-6 weeks, and both hold up very well. NEVER had --- or observed --- a bad experience in 15 years, so I don't understand the complaints. Sometimes, they might be slightly over-booked, and running behind, but after a couple of those, they always call to let me know ahead of time. It's important to be clear about what we want, eg, length/shape, color of our nails. I haven't been to another salon since I started coming here, because I've been happy with my nails. The quality of the work has always been excellent, and I prefer to be in an environment where I know the people. The salon is clean, and the decor is serene. All who work their are Vietnamese, and perhaps it takes a while to understand their accents, but a little patience and compassion goes long way. I made an appointment and I was immediately taken to the station for my dip manicure. Every salon I visit seems to have a different process. I prefer when they wrap your nails and leave them in the foil while you have your pedicure and then take you back to the chair to do your nails. This usually takes about 1 hour and 1/2 tops. This salon tech took a very long time to do my nails one hand at a time. The process was not finished when they moved me to pedicure chair which also took extra long. When that was done, they told me it would be a few minutes before the tech who was doing my nails could take me back to finish. It was now 2 hours and I had to be somewhere to be and I told them so now someone else is rushing to get me done and I'm really stressing because I'm now late. The staff are all very nice and they do a great job and if you have a lot of time to kill, the pedicure by Thuy is very good. I just feel like they could be more efficient the way they do things and still give a relaxing experience. As always, these salons always overbook and they never say no to walk ins. Lastly, watching the news over and over on the TV is not relaxing. Try food network or cooking channel. read more

Mani pedis are supposed to be relaxing, right? That was not my experience at this salon. The gal working on me was VERY rough (Massage actually hurt!), the way she gripped my nails painful. I couldn't wait to get out of there. In the end my nails looked "okay" not great. I won't ever go back. read more

I've been going to this salon for years. The fact that I've had to wait more than 30-45 minutes for my scheduled appointment on more than a few occasions, or the rudeness of the staff, hasn't deterred my loyalty, but this appointment took the cake! I thought it would be a fun experience for my 5 year old granddaughter to get her fingers and toes painted for her first day of Kindergarten. When we arrived I was told they didn't have time to do her fingers and just did her toes. I got my nails done, and left there bleeding in 7 out of 10 fingers. They charged me for a full pedicure (SHE'S FIVE!), and when we left my granddaughter told me there was a fingernail floating in the footbath. The ladies here do a terrific job! Talk about a durable manicure, I'm 6 weeks since my last one and while the nails have grown out the polish is still intact and looks wonderful. They top the dip manicure with a coat of gel...they are indestructible!! read more

I had to come back and update my review even though it has only been a few months. I have tried this place 3 more times since my last review and each time has been worst than the next. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and they were fairly busy (meaning they have 7 manicure tables and about 6 pedi chairs and only 6 total chairs were being used!) The owner told me about a 15 minutes wait.. after about 25 minutes he took me in a rush. He talked me out of a french manicure saying it wouldn't look good on my nails and then rushed my nails and left me sitting under the gel uv dryer for almost 10 minutes so he could start another customer. I took my own hands up and then he finally jumped up and came over. He never put lotion or anything. I am not going to go back here unless I am in a jam..... terrible service read more

Scammers they lie to you about the price and try to upcharge you towards the end. They don't know how to shape your nails properly and steal your money basically. They aren't friendly they don't communicate properly and they end up scamming you I spend 104 on a spa pedicure with gel and a gel full set... which they told me would be 84$ ended up being $104. I am so sad to say that I am being forced to find another nail salon after 20+ years of loyalty. The manicures and pedicures are well done and they last. Unfortunately, they do not know how to keep appointments (made 2 weeks in advance). I understand staffing issues are a problem which is why I have given them several opportunities to figure out how to manage appointments. Every time I show up with an appointment, I wait at least 30 minutes to see my nail tech and sometimes she does both mani/pedi and other times she sends me off to someone else after starting. I find waiting 30 minutes to be started and then passed off to another tech infuriating! A mani/pedi is now taking over 3 hrs with an appointment!! Time to find another salon. read more

I have been to this is salon a few times, and after going today, I will never go back. I got a pedicure and gel manicure, which I am completely dissatisfied with. The man who did my gel manicure (who seemed to be running the shift) made it quite clear that he did not have time for me and rushed my manicure. Now it looks like absolute garbage. Rather than doing a proper job on my nails, he choose to watch his staff talk on their phones while doing another woman's nails. I could tell that he was trying to get my nails done ASAP and didn't give my nails enough time to dry before applying another coat. I spent $60 and I feel that I wasted my money. If the man was so concerned with his staff performance, perhaps he should have stepped in and then came back to do a proper job on his current customer. Additionally, this place was clearly unsanitary. I noticed only two or three tool sterilization cleaners, and my manicurist placed his tools in the bowl where I soaked my nails. I don't know if this is typical, but it seemed wrong to me. Lastly, I asked the man where to throw away my pedicure gear (toe separator and flip flops), and he took them and tossed them on the counter. Absolutely disgusting. read more

I made an appointment but still had to wait. I got a gel mani & pedi. She kept trying to talk me out of the color I chose and getting a gel pedicure. She asked me repeatedly if my number was the one on their caller ID. The parts that really annoyed me was that a. She didn't make sure that all of my fingernails were the same length which I noticed after she already applied the color. b. She didn't apply the color evenly on 2 of my nails which I noticed right as I was paying. Despite the annoyances I still have her over a 20% tip. I asked her to fix the 2 nails and she seemed bothered. She didn't apologize. For what they charge, and in general, think that you are paying to have perfect looking nails. She spent about 2 hours with me but still did a crappy job. I wouldn't return. The one thing saving this place is their pedicure chairs. The massage was amazing and they were very comfy. read more

I got a mani-pedi for about $65. & that included a French for both & gel polish on my manicure. They looked good & were able to accommodate without an appt. Only issue is that the polish wasn't applied as thick & a couple nails broke within a week. Haven't had that happen when I go to Chez Bella. I'll be back, as the pricing was much better & they have more staff to accommodate walk-ins. I just need to ask for a 2nd top coat. read more

I'll start off by saying that I went into this place asking for something that is probably not a look they do very often. I asked for a full set acrylic stiletto nails with the upside down heart on the tips ala Kelly Osbourne. I figured as long as I had a reference photo, they should be able to duplicate. Not the case. They weren't awful but I will say I went somewhere else to reshape them and repaint them. Had I been asking for something simple, I'm sure they would've done a fine job. The nail tech who worked on them seemed to be in quite a rush to get to some of the walk-ins who had arrived whilst I was in his chair. Eventually I stopped saying "make them pointier" and resolved to just fix them later. Pros: they are reasonably priced and there is little wait for walk-ins (as the nail tech I had seemed to be in quite a hurry to get me out, and them in..." I actually liked this place. I like to veg out when I get my tips and toes done, i.e., not talk. This is place is great b/c they will not talk to you and their work is really thorough. The price is right as well. Win-win in my book. read more

My favorite place to get my nails done. I always make an appointment. Pros: Good selection of colors. Affordable. Local family owns the salon and everyone that works there is so friendly. I have been a loyal customer for the last 10 years. The owner's wife does the best gel manicures in the place! Cons: Not open on Sundays They tend to get busy in the late afternoon between 4-5pm on weekdays, so try to avoid those times! read more

First impression: Small and smells like chemicals. Had a quick fix mani/pedi a few months ago and it was OK, not too bad. I was probably done in about 40 minutes for both which i think is fast but the polish came out ok. The massage lasted for about a minute per leg so at least better than some places I've been to. The people who know me... knows I don't play around when I get my spa stuff done. So I'm constantly going to different places and trying them out. Their files, buffers and tools were questionable because it came out of a plastic box instead of a brand new package. Staff was nice but no very talkative which is fine to me sometimes. Been going here for a while for pedicures, although I am not consistent with doing my feet , when i do get the chance I enjoy coming here. Quite and peaceful atmosphere and it is clean. The prices are great and they do a nice job. I ALWAYS ask for extra top coat no matter where I go as I work on my feet a lot (and usually in sneakers or boots) and I haven't had anything to complain about. I was a walk in today- I was able to be seen right away around 430. Lots of color options, clean area and not too expensive. $30 for a fresh gel manicure. Took about 45 minutes to do, my color was super light so the woman did three coats on color. I'll most likely be coming back! read more

I am not a fancy person, and I can count on one hand how many pedicures I've had in my life. But this past month I was really, really wanting to treat myself. After asking around I had two different people recommend Oriental Nail Salon to me and I decided to try it. I got a manicure and pedicure- only $35! That's craziness! The pedicure was in a large comfy massage chair, and it took over an hour (awesome!) as I read magazines and watched TV. The manicure was, of course, quicker, but still luxurious. The nail polish lasted 6 days for me (very long for my nail type) and the toe polish is at 10 days and still looks lovely. The salon was clean, my nail tech was kind and meticulous, and I was very pleased with the entire experience. Overall this was a great experience and I definitely think that the service was worth more than I paid-- but I'm so happy with the price that I'll be back! read more

I walked in on my lunch break for a gel mani. The woman who did my nails was a perfectionist! I got a nude color, and i have been other places who have done only coats before and it looks horrible, but she knew to do a third coat. I will definitely be back to see the same manicurist! read more

I went there twice only because I forgot how awful this place was at the first time. First of all, the lady who did my manicure cut my cuticles really bad that I almost bleed. Even after I said "OUCH" couple times, she gave me cuts at least 5 spots. Second, they definitely mix their manicure with some sort of water to use manicures as long as possible. I do my manicures once or twice a month and I do double coats for color as nail salons do. But this lady had to put three coats since it was too waterly and you barely see the color for the first coat. Also, due to triple coats, it chips out quickly as well. Lastly, it can be minor thing but they don't stop talking in their language while they are doing services. It can be minor but it was to the point that it's annoying. I am going there again today. I get my nails done on a regular basis ever since I was introduced to this store. It has a five star rating from me because I find that each and every nail technician is knowledgeable. I have always had wonderful experiences there. I must say that when I worked my nails were always breaking. I wonder if the gel would have helped my nails then? I can only wonder. I've been going to Oriental Nails for the past 5+ years for pedicures and acrylic nail fills. The Nail Techs are mostly the same as when I started, not a high turnover of technicians. I've been VERY pleased with their professionalism as well as the quality of my nails. They will do walk ins, however, if you have an appointment you are not kept waiting long. I've been to places that would do a walk-in even if it meant they would be late for my appointment, not the case with Tree (not sure how to spell her name) at Oriental.
