Got dip nails here the other day. They took care to shape my nails perfectly and it was a very quick trip-- which I love because spending hours in a salon is not my favorite thing on a sunny summer day. All in all will definitely go back! Only 4 stars because there were some spots on my nails that were filed through the polish a little thin. Updated: Went again to get dip removed and redone for a wedding and they're perfect. Loan took the time to fill me in last minute and stayed late to make sure my nails were perfectly shaped. Aweful! I will never go back! Worst pedicure I have gotten ever. I attached pictures. I asked the lady to buff my heels properly because it clearly wasn't done. She started rolling her eyes at me telling me she did it and she has 20 years of experience so she knows what she's doing blah blah... No more mall-i-cures for me! I've been looking to find a place to get my nails done closer to home and came across Chez Bella. I read other reviews and decided to stop in yesterday and scope the place out. It's back in a quiet corner of one of the many Marlborough strip malls, so I didn't expect much. I walked in and was like wow! Very elegant, clean, and professional looking. I made an appointment for this morning. I'm blown away by how great my experience was. The ladies that work there are great and very customer focused. Very down to earth which is refreshing. Donna did my mani and pedi today. Love her. She knows her stuff and is easy to talk to. I had my natural nails shaped in the stiletto style. I didn't even know it could be done! I couldn't be any happier with the results. My pedicure feels great and my tootsies are beach ready. I am a big fan of this place as they treat me and my daughter (4 year old) so well. This place is completely cozy, inviting,and comfortable. Kim is always so friendly and accommadating. Both my nails and my daughters nails are perfect when we walk out. Mine remain perfect even 2 weeks later. My daughter's last much longer than usual after they are done here as opposed to a couple of other places we have been. I like the fact that it is family owned and operated. The decor is spa like. It is done in a nice earthtone color palatte. Cleanliness is next to Godliness here. I feel confident that I am not going to come in contact with any microscopic harmful bugs. Kim is a strict on doing things right and having things clean and by the healthcode book. Every client has a new file, pumice,and buffer for each visit. I am really confused by all of the positive reviews of this establishment. I thought I would give it a try, since it got such great reviews...but I was very disappointed. To be honest, I don't even want to give this place one star, but I guess since I have to, the only positive thing about this place was the decor. I want to start by saying that I was in for a basic mani + pedi. I thought I'd be in there hour and a half tops. 3 HOURS LATER, I left with nails that looked like a 5 year old had painted them. Now I am normally not one to complain. I didn't put up too much of a stink when I was in there, but when the manicurist is blaming the nail polish for an uneven look...that's a joke. Throw it out. Offer to repaint them. I have older nail polish at home that I do a MUCH better job painting my nails with. On top of it, I had to scrub my own hands with exfoliant, the towels they wrap your hands and feet in are dingy and stained, and parts of my pedicure you would normally receive were completely left out (yet I saw other patrons receive them). Honestly, I think she was just inexperienced and I regret the decision to come here and waste my money. I will NOT be back again. OH, and to top it all off, this happened yesterday. I showered just now and two fingernails worth of polish just peeled right off. I have pictures to prove it. read more

My sister and I called Chez Bella super last minute on NYE and they had no problem accommodating us! When we arrived the two ladies who were there were SO nice & incredibly friendly, they welcomed us and gave us the most amazing pedicure with hot stones and an amazing scrub treatment. We were in heaven and even more so because the ladies were so happy and kind. We were the only customers there and when we left we saw the ladies leaving as well - meaning they stayed open extra late just to accommodate us, the sweetest sweetest people!! I really wanted to like this nail salon because it's so close to home. I went in for a pedi appointment with my mother on a Saturday late morning. There were three or four other patrons and two technicians working. The salon looked clean and they had a decent selection of polishes. One of the technicians had their son at the salon that day. I have nothing against this and I can understand the need to bring your child to work. During my pedicure, the technician was distracted by her son physically hanging on her back. I was uncomfortable and at times nervous that she was being affected from safely doing the pedicure(ie cutting my nails/cuticles). The technician did little to correct his behavior or apologize for the negative impact it had on my experience. Very unprofessional. The pedicure was done well and the color lasted as long as expected. I would NEVER go back because there are better options in the area. read more

I came here to get my acrylics fixed after I had gone to Oriental Nails down the way. Kim fixed my stiletto acrylics fabulously and repainted them. She even reshaped them because the previous nail tech obviously was not familiar with the stiletto shape. They look awesome! The atmosphere is relaxed and casual and everyone is so nice! Their pedicures are also a treat. They do a hot stone massage (which usually at other places costs you extra) included in the price for the pedicure! The only reason I did not give them that last star is that it look a while to secure an appt. Only two of their nail techs do acrylics so I'm sure if you we're scheduling a gel mani or regular mani you would have no problem. As far as I'm concerned Kim is worth the wait! If I hadn't gotten impatient and gone to Oriental on a whim, I would have been beyond happy the first time. I love my nails, and already have booked future appts with Chez Bella! read more

I keep reading such great things about this place that I finally booked an appointment for a mani and pedi. Everyone is so nice in there. Maurice is absolutely friendly and quick to offer coffee, tea or water as I walked in. Loved the pedi I got which included a hot stone massage at the in for the legs. Kim is so fantastic. We had a very long discussion as to how I like my nails done and with what. After figuring it out, she is going to pick up some different colors for me to use next time. I totally didn't expect that but very much appreciate it. What I absolutely loved is how she fixed my nails and made it the way I wanted it. She showed me these AWESOME design palettes and it goes on like a stamp on the nails. I don't think I can give enough praise to Chez Bella. The place is very clean and the ladies are very welcoming and nice. They encourage appointments but they accept walk-ins as well. I was able to book my appointment for the same day with no problem. There is plenty of free parking since it is located in a small shopping center. I had gel fillings that look very natural and perfectly done. The technician was very gentle and never hurt me with the file and other tools. She took her time to do a good quality job, as opposed to the 20 minutes manicures done at any mall nail salon that leave you with uneven, thick and ugly nails. I also had a pedicure and I have to say that it was the best pedicure I've had in Massachusetts. I was offered a complimentary beverage. They really put attention to detail. Massage up to the knees, scrub, hot towels and hydrating mask are included. My feet feel so soft! And they even give you an additional massage with hot stones. It was very relaxing! The reviews are true. They are friendly and funny. The service is very attention focused, so if you want a quick in and out this is NOT the place. The pedi includes a hot stone massage and the mani a hand massage. They have an nearly obsessive attention to detail on every nail. I met two regulars today and they were amazingly friendly, telling each other stories about family, reflecting on how they had watched the high school senior daughter of one of the teaches grow up from 5 years old. Let me start this post with a little background story. I came to Chez Bella yesterday afternoon after my last manicure was very much messed up by another nail salon. To make this story short, I have for years done powder acrylics and tried out a different store than I usually go to, since my previous nail technician is no longer working. Not paying attention to the nail tech, they did a fill of liquid UV gel instead of the powder acrylics fill that I asked for multiple times. They ended up using black gel polish to cover everything up, since the natural french look i usually wear was impossible at this point. Needless to say I was not happy at all. After not being able to stand the sight of this mess any longer I came to Chez Bella, looking to just take it all off and going back to my regular powder acrylics. Nancy the technician who did my nails did the most wonderful manicure I have ever received. She was very diligent and careful and took all the time needed to remove the mess of powder acrylics and liquid UV gel without significantly damaging my natural nails at all. The dip powder she put on my nails is wonderful, she was extremely attentive to making sure there are no smudges, everything looked perfect and exactly the way I had showed her a picture of. The salon is extremely clean, has a huge variety of polishes, a mix of free beverages and snacks and is very conveniently located at Boston Post Road, the prices for their service are beyond reasonable. I went today to get a facial because I've been breaking out. It was AMAZING. The servies was so wonderful - asked me if I wanted anything to drink and gave me a free nail file right when I walked it. They were so personable!! They had a special for the month of Sept for a $40 facial. I've had facials before and NOTHING has topped this one! They massaged your neck, shoulders, arms, hands and feet while the masks were on.....you never get that service for that kind of price! I can't wait to go back and try the gel manicure that lasts two weeks!!! read more

I've been here multiple times because they offer a couple of things other places do not (i.e. callus treatments). It's an awesome service when done correctly, however, the skill from nail tech to nail tech varies GREATLY. If you find a tech that does it well, always ask for her again. It seemed like a pretty simple process to me the first time I had it done, but each girl does it much differently - and not for the better. To add insult to injury, the last time I went in they tried to charge me almost the full price of a pedicure because I had a polish change and the callus treatment. I didn't have a soak, massage, cuticle cut down or anything else that one gets with a pedicure - so why would I pay the same price? Don't offer a la carte items if you don't like the bottom line on what the total price comes to! Of course they didn't tell me the new price (nowhere listed on their menu) of what they expected me to pay, which by the way, I refused to, since they never did this to me before. After the last shoddy callus treatment there, I decided that will be the last time I go out of my way to visit Chez Bella. They are a nice group of ladies and accommodating with free beverages, however, the lack of professionalism begins with their website which is comprised of a free website template that has yet to be filled in. read more

C- gel manicure The tech was very nice, but seemed more in a rush than being careful with her application of color. My nails were peeling by the time I was out of Marlboro. I have smudges and bubbles in a $30 gel manicure. The fact that half of color on both thumbnails has completely lifted off less than 2 hours after manicure is totally unacceptable. I am not hard on my nails either. I all did since my appointment was drive home and get groceries, I was not doing engine repair! This place does not seem to be worth the price. They want to be a "spa" but the ambiance is little above mall nail factory. I will definitely not be back. For $30 I got basic nail filing, cuticle work, two types of exfoliating pumice stones, exfoliating scrub, hot stones and lotion rubbed on feet and legs, hot towels wrapped around each foot, hydrating oil lathered on freshly exfoliated heels, nail polish. Just moved here from the Boston area and have been looking for a good salon. Happy to say I found one at Chez Bella! Echoing what others have said, it has a salon atmosphere with good prices. I won't be going anywhere else from now on. Had a wonderful spa mani/pedi combo that included a foot scrub, massage and hot stone rub down! Awesome. Normally it would have been $37, but they were having a special so it was only $32. Definitely worth the money. I cannot believe I have not reviewed this place yet! I cannot say more about the quality of this salon. The girls that work there are amazing, awesome, honest, nice, and overall quality people. Everyone speaks English and is more than willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you get what you want. I have been a customer here for over 2 years now, and I will say that I have never left disappointed. Kim does an amazing job on acrylics. They are thin and perfectly even. She always takes her time, and makes sure that there are no bubbles, and no lifting. I have been a lot of places in the metro-west, and none of them compare to the job they do at Chez Bella. I have also had a facial, and regularly get Brazilian waxes, both are top notch. Clean, and very respectful. I recently moved to Maryland, and I am the saddest person (well my nails and downtown are super sad) because I cannot find any place here that has the quality of Kim's place. Chez has discounts and specials all the time - and really love to have repeat business. I will say that you should always make an appointment, because they are busy a lot, especially on the weekends. I've been here three times and figured it was time to write a review because they are SO great. First of all, I LOVE their chocolate pedicure. It's a bit pricey at $37 but worth every delicious penny. The staff is super friendly and courteous, it's extremely sanitary and I love that they have their own brand of products for sale right along side the big brand name stuff. I've had three different nail techs, but they're always ALL there (at least on the three occasions I went) and even though I don't go often they always seem to remember me and say hello.
