As a newer resident of Shrewsbury I've tried either making an appointment over the phone or going as a walk in. The employees barely pay attention to you when you walk through the door. Asking "does anyone have time for a service" only 10 minutes past opening and only response is "no" rather than suggesting a time that does work. Do not recommend this salon to anyone new to the area. Last time I attempt to give them business, very unwelcoming. Divine Nails in Webster is a bit far but highly recommend! read more

My sister and I got gel mani-pedis at Awesome Nails before my wedding and we were so so happy with the results! Staff were accommodating, professional, friendly, and did a great job. Two weeks later and still not a single chip. Yes parking can be a little tricky but that's the only downside. Will definitely be back the next time I need/want my nails done!! read more

I followed my nail tech here from a previous salon as I just adore her and her work. The salon is clean and everyone is friendly. The dip works great, much improved from when I first tried it. Of course, with Covid, I haven't been in ever as they were closed. The only thing that I don't enjoy here is the parking. It's very tight. If you have to go around to the back, good luck to you if you have a larger vehicle. And don't park in the dry cleaners area. read more

The cleanest nail salon I've seen in 10 years. Very well lit and spaced for safety and convenience. Polite staff that runs like a Swiss clock, and that was before I got into Ivy's chair. Efficient and pleasant young lady who took very good care of me from removal of old polish to drying my lovely purple toenails. Scrubbing the bottom of my feet and lower legs was relaxing. I will definitely return to Awesome Nails and ask for Ivy. read more

Tucked at the end of a tiny plaza awaits Awesome Nails. Parking can be troublesome, so be warned. Otherwise this is a very reliable place for manicures, pedicures, full sets of acrylics & fills. I've had a few different techs here but Lana was the chattiest -- in a friendly way. Full set of acrylics ran me $35 which was reasonable for the area. Can't wait to come back & try the pedicure station. Also love that they have a timed drying table -- no more watching the clock or guessing. read more

Love love love this place! I've had gel done tons of times before, but this place does it like no other. Gels have lasted me 3 weeks no problem. Their dip nail color options (along with their technique) have really improved since the first time I got dip there (2 months ago). Super friendly staff. If there is an option I would give it no stars. Service is horrible, shortest pedicure I ever had, it was 10 minutes long, they tell you a price and in the middle of the service they tell you that you need to pay more. Be prepared to deal with people with attitude, and if you want to complain expect to get yelled at. Definitely won't be back. read more

One star for the fact that they speak English well. That's hard to find. Another for the no wait. However, a good pedicure should last longer than 35 minutes and your feet should feel silky smooth for days. NOT just as bad or worse than when you walked in. She cut my nails down and rubbed some lotion on basically. I NEVER leave a place without tipping even if its only $2 for bad service. This place I couldn't get out quick enough. Worse pedicure ever. I recently moved to the area and have tried a few different nail salons to find my 'go to spot.' Awesome Nails has reached the top of my list for price and product. I was surprised to get in at the last minute on Saturday, July 3rd considering I have tried to get in several times and was urged to make an appointment (maybe everyone was on vacation). Anywho . . .the young woman who took care of me was pleasant and even helped me select a great color. She was very efficient in giving me a clean cut look (my nails were in rough shape) and applying color. My nails still look awesome! My tech also gave me some friendly tips on how to save the color for longer wear. The only down side to the experience was that she complained about her boyfriend for a good portion of my time with her which was a little uncomfortable and not to mention a bit unprofessional. She also asked if she could make a quick phone call from her cell phone while she was tending to my tootsies. Maybe this isnt a huge deal in our cellphone nation but I dont think many people would appreciate this. Again, on the high note, my nails look great and I enjoyed chatting with a woman at the dryers. She gave me some great tips for other things in the area...you Shrewsbury folk are just too darn nice! **Agreed with other posts, parking is tough. read more

Got my nails done here by Amy the nails came out looking great, the place looks clean and spacious. 3 star because parking can be a pain also pedicure massage wasn't that long it feels like 2 mins. Will definitely come back, and give a second try and rating. read more

I have lived in shrewsbury my whole life and have visited this nail salon quite often. The best people they have is the owner and Lana. If you dont have an appointment I wouldnt go for walk ins. I did this past Friday, I had a gift cars and wanted to get a gel manicure. I got right into a chair but I already knew my nails would come out horrible because of the lady doing them. She sits two stations in behind the front desk. My nails are uneven and they look gross only after a couple days. I will not be going back there. read more

The nail salon is at the center of town. I found a parking right in the front. I was taken in immediately and my nail technician was very friendly. They all spoke English in there and they offered many types of pedicures. They give you only the basic pedicure but you can ask for scrubs or a spa pedicure. My nail tech. did not try to persuade me to do anything that I did not want. The massage was fantastic, she really went deep into the tissues and I felt very relaxed. Everything was very clean and my toes look great. I would definitely come back and recommend people to stop by if they have a chance. read more

What I love about this place is when you make an appointment, they won't take a walk-in if that person walks in two minutes before your appointment like other nail salons. My daughter gave me a gift certificate to this place a couple years ago. Jenny, the owner did my nails. I still do acrylic nails. She's quick but very good at what she does. It's 40 plus minutes from my house and there are many salons much closer, but I will never go to another place. She's always ready for me, even when I'm early. Everyone is polite. They are very professional. So happy I found a nail salon that treats their customers great even after you've been going to them for a couple years. The parking is a little tough, but if there are no spots out front, I just park on the side alley next to the dry cleaners. I've had pedicures also. I think they do a great job. I usually just get my polish changed though to keep my cost down. If you're looking for a nail salon that actually cares about their clients and does a great job, this is the place to go. read more
