She gave me a hot stone massage on my arms, massaged my scalp, "zapped" a few blemishes, and even tweezed a few stray hairs. After my facial was finished there was no pressure to buy products or reschedule for another service. Katia gave me a few product samples to use over the next month and informed me that future appointments can be scheduled if I like. One word of note, don't let the drive by appearance of this spa fool you. The spa is in a charming cape that seems like a private residence from the road. I had an upcoming hair/color appointment that I promptly cancelled after this experience. Backstory: I am local, and I have been a customer of this salon, on and off, for about 15 years. Over the years, I have been a client of two very good stylists: Jackie and Heather (who were not involved with the interaction below). Issue: Bait-and-switch on kids haircuts--when scheduling I was quoted a max of $35; however, I was charged $60 plus (per haircut) at closeout for a number of kids haircuts. Thick hair was the reasoning. If the salon's website had a disclaimer that this was a policy, or a verbal beforehand about the pricing differentials, we'd have a non issue (that said, I would have gone elsewhere). As I mentioned above, it's the last minute bait-and-switch, and then being completely ignored by the owners to discuss my displeasure with the experience. Bottom line: If you are someone who makes an effort to support local businesses, I would think twice about this establishment. I feel like I was treated like a disposable suburban customer--which clearly was the case. I cannot recommend this woman's work, though she assured me that the pain was necessary to improve my function. I had the impression that she made it up as she went along.

Courtney is the absolute best. The care and time that they give to each customer is AMAZING! The pedicure is soothing, complete with an up to date massage chair. Every part of your feet are tended to and cared for. They even do a heel treatment, and give you an additional massage while your feet are drying. AMAZING Hospitality and professionalism. There is also a top notch entertainment system playing at all times with classic comedies or chick flicks. Today was my first time here and I'm hooked! I got a Spa Pedicure by Courtney and it was by far the best pedicure I have ever had. When I walked in the first things I noticed were the licenses posted on the wall and how clean everything was. Before she started the movie that was playing had just finished and she asked me to pick out the movie to put on which made my visit feel that much more special. What really impressed me was the hot stone massage, legs being wrapped in hot towels, paraffin treatment on my heels and a neck massage with hot towel as my nails dried. If I could give them no stars I would. First let me say the place looks very nice. Ive been here twice already. First time I was treated very nice...could be because I was the only person in there. Second time I go back, I asked for Shellac Nails and Pedi. I felt rushed for the pedicure and paint smeared on the sides and when it came to my shellac..it did not last more than two days. My gels were wet when I left and the lady said that was normal hmmm Weird..because I've done gels for years now and I never walked out with wet gels. And so it peeled the next day. I won't be back. It looked like that time I let my friend's 8 year-old daughter paint my nails around a campfire. I spent two hours and $73 (plus a generous tip before I could see the damage) for this experience.
