I always receive a first class service for a manicure and pedicure. I'm a long time customer who loves this inviting place.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I personally find them informative when looking for places to go. ALL of my nails have begun to lift significantly and are constantly getting stuck in my hair. The sides of every nail are cracking and showing my nail underneath, so inevitably they will break when I go to the next place. This is purely a result of technique. As you can see, they aren't so grown out as to be that lifted / having my hair get caught in them. read more

They scammed me for $8 Be careful with this place. It was my first time there yesterday and they gave me a basic pedicure priced at $27 and charged me $35 for what they call an essential oil and "massage" experience. I did pay the $35 but felt something was off because I was only there for a total of 30 mins. 6:00 pm -6:30pm. Went to my car to read the menu to find out that I should have been charged $27. Please be careful when you go in. Let them know right away what you are there for and the price you are paying before the service. read more

I told them exactly what I wanted and I was directed to the appropriate section to choose my nail polish then I was asked to be seated. I had the pleasure of Mary doing my nails. I have gotten 2 gel manicures here. Both lasted far longer than usual and I was extremely happy with the overall quality. They work quickly which was perfect during my lunch hour but I didn't feel the care or attention to detail was lacking. Kelly was so sweet and seems fun - I like that she actually told another girl who picked a gel color for her pedicure "its more money for me but I'd feel bad because you don't need it!" I found that impressive. Most places the people are. Old and constantly trying to make you add something to get more money! The price for a gel manicure is cheaper than most places! I've been here once for a pedicure and never again. When they were finished I noticed a divot on both my big toe nails and didn't really think anything of it but soon realized it was something i've never seen before. It split my toe nail horizontally across and since then every time I try to grow it out it splits in the same area. It's been about 3 years and I still have that awful split in my nails and can't grow them out past half way without them breaking. read more

This by far one of the cleanest nail salons I have been to in a long time.After every single client I saw the nail techs cleaning their stations down. And you can see the nail tech take the instruments out from under the UV light that will be used on you. And that place doesn't stink of chemicals either. The staff was very friendly. We were taking a family trip for Fourth of July weekend. So, I decided to treat myself. It had been 13 years since I had last gotten a manicure, and the first ever for my 12 year old daughter. I guess this place is great if you want fast, unfriendly, and not super creative service. I went in hoping that I could get a patriotic design done, and my daughter wanted a cat design exactly like one of the photos here on the Yelp reviews. Easy. We were greeted unceremoniously at the front, asked gels or just polish, then pointed in the right direction to select our colors. Fine. We chose our colors and were told where to sit. Listen, I clearly don't get this done on the regular, so I'm sure I looked like an idiot not knowing the procedure. But honestly, I was super friendly and tried to explain how long it had been since I had done this and it was a special treat for me and my daughter. I don't know if they didn't care, or didn't understand, but no one seemed to want to take the time to explain anything at any point. Whatever. My daughter and I sat and I tried to relax and make the best of it. I was seriously hoping the nail technician would be into the idea of being creative and giving me a festive nail design. She mostly just seemed confused and annoyed by my choice of two colors. No one ever once explained to me that putting a design (in my case one silver star on each of my ring fingers) on my nails would cost more and more for each nail done. Good thing she clearly didn't have any interest in really going all out and being creative. Because at $5 extra for one design it would have added up quickly. The woman doing my daughter's nails was definitely not understanding the cat thing. In hindsight, I guess a picture would have helped at that point. So, she just finished the base color, walked away and said nothing. My nails were finished, and I went to dry them. My daughter was left sitting in her chair just waiting...for whatever, no one said one word. Finally a second woman sat across from her and tried to understand what she was looking for. Eventually, I thought to bring up the picture on my phone, no one offered to help me get it from my purse, and one of my nails got wrecked. I didn't even say anything because they all just seemed so aggravated to even be dealing with customers. My daughter finally got her cat nails done and we left. By the time I went food shopping, four of my nails had either dents or wrinkles in them because the polish was put on too thick. Truth be told, I was so frustrated to have actually paid for what I had hoped would be something I couldn't do myself in my living room, I removed the whole manicure later that night and did my own damn nails. I wish I had taken a picture of theirs to compare with my own, because I'm not going to lie, mine were better. This place ruined my opinions of manicures. And they really should not only be up front about the cost of embellishments and designs, but should also get with the times and have stickers and stencils on hand to create the sort of nails people want. I will not go back. Ever. Unless I want crappy service and boring nails that I can do at home. read more

Ann gave me my beautuful pedicure. I walked in around 2:30pm last Monday. Chose my color from the huge selection wall. Ann was waiting for me to be ready. Very reasonable prices. I needed my feet cleaned up and Ann spent careful time with this step. This was my second time at Serenity. Came with a group of ladies my first time with # appts 3p-6pm on Sat Nov 12, 2016. Everyone was happy with their nail choices and the variety of selections. The ladies signed in as they arrived. So I went here for the first time to get a pedicure. I picked out my color and she started my pedicure. The whole pedicure was great! When she got to my gel color I picked, it was a completely different color than what the sample showed on the bottle. I was not showed any swatches so I had to go by the tiny little color sample on the bottles. The color I thought I picked was a light baby pink. The color that came out was a dark pinkish red. She asked if I liked it and I said yes because I really didn't have time for her to fix it and find the color I wanted. It was fine. The price seemed a little steep for a gel pedicure but I got it anyways because it was needed and the other places around were extremely busy. So I gave it 3 stars because of the colors being mixed up and the fact that I wasn't shown any swatches. They just kinda sent me in the direction of the colors. I didn't even know exactly which colors were gel and which were regular nail polish. read more

I LOVE Kelly (the owner), and everyone else I have encountered in the salon. Kelly remembered me after one appointment and greeted me like I had been going there for years. The place is clean, light, and inviting with a good energy, and good entertainment on two big flat screens on the wall. I recently moved and I have not found a solon that can give me a set of pink and white nails with the same quality and longevity as I get here. The fifth star can be credited to the staffs ability to turn around a potentially bad situation. Once I made an appointment and had to wait about a half hour because the salon were short staffed. Normally, this might annoy me but the whole staff was aware of the situation, extremely apologetic and, without asking, I got a discount for the inconvenience. read more

I've been going to Kelly at Serenity Nails for about three years now and it is the best salon I've ever frequented. The salon is bright and clean and the staff and service are terrific. The pricing is fair and comparable with other local salons. The salon does take walk-ins but it is a popular spot so if you don't like to wait I recommend an appointment, as you are taking your chances whether someone will be available with walking in. Based on Jessica's review I tried out this nail salon for a manicure and pedicure. I wanted to go on a Friday so I called and made an appointment. I agree with Jessica in that this salon is very clean and it smells wonderful! I have never been to a nail salon that doesn't smell like chemicals! The products they use also smell amazing. I left the salon smelling like lemons and strawberries. The salon is also very sunny and inviting. When I arrived they were running a little bit behind but the staff was very friendly and it was only a couple of minutes wait. The chairs are very comfortable and they really know what they are doing. The foot massage was wonderful! I did not get the name of the girl who did my pedicure but she was great and painted beautiful little flowers on my big toes. She took the time to add some pretty details including a little bit of glitter and it was clear that she took pride in her work. The owner did my manicure. They do take walk-ins but the salon was very busy. When people walked in the owner greeted them and let them know up front how long the wait would be. She told me that she would rather be honest and have people leave than rush people out or have them wait a long time. She also knew everyone's name and went out of her way to talk to everyone. I really felt as though I got personal service and did not feel like my service was rushed at all. They take credit cards but I think they prefer the tips in cash as there was no place for me to add a tip on my receipt. This isn't a big deal in my opinion. This place also has a great location. I went to this salon for a gel manicure before having my son. I knew I was being induced so I thought it would be nice to relax and have cute nails in my pictures. I called ahead and made an appointment. When I arrived they made me wait twenty minutes even though I had an appointment. My manicure was then rushed. I had chosen a white gel with glitter. The lady doing my nails said it would come out clear. She reccomended to do a white gel and a colored glitter on top so that is what I did. Fast forward two weeks later and I could not get the gel off. I soaked my nails in acetone and scrubbed to no avail. My sister who worked in a salon tried to and couldn't get it off either. I had to go back to the salon. The tech who did my nails couldn't get it off. The owner had to literally file down my nail to get it off. Then tried to sell me another gel manicure. She then charged me $12 for the removal! My nails were left so thin and weak they kept splitting and were painful. Never again!! read more
