This business is run by professionals who really know what they're doing. I've used them for years, and they've repaired several clocks for me, from expensive mechanical antiques to cheap electronic units. They do excellent work, and have never disappointed me. They are very busy, so if you have a major job to be done, like a rebuild, you may be waiting for a while, but it will be worth the wait. I dropped by to seek advice on how to deal with a suddenly defunct "grandfathers clock". He gave advice on how to transport the works safely and the parts he'd need to check it out. came by the next day with required parts. carefully looked it over. alternatives from expensive to his suggestion. unbent one part, added a little oil with a very cool syringe and sent me on my way. "How much?" I asked. "Oh this is part of our "free estimate" service ". !!! Clock is now working fine. if I need the more expensive option in the future, this is the place to go! I didn't know about this hidden gem until recently. I had a very old crank music box that I was quoted a $1400.00 repair job from another clock shop. The nice man told me to bring it in as it could easily just need some oil. I did and it did the trick. He was not rushed when he added clock oil to weird places and within 30 minutes the old music was tinkling away. Price? $30.00! I'm beyond delighted to find that not all people need to make a quick buck as they breathe life into family heirlooms. The clocks were gonging, tinkling, bonging away as the shop has a huge variety of clocks that went off at various times. I'm sure it drives him crazy but it is a beautiful sound, one worth taking friends into if they've never heard it before. I have checked many places for someone who repairs chess clocks. No place would touch my Vintage German made Jerger clock that had stopped working. Ron was happy to do it for a fair and reasonable price. Not only that, while waiting for Ron to finish the repair that the rest of the country was afraid to deal with (took him about 20 minutes), I was dazzled with the selection of Cuckoo clocks all the way up to elegant Grandfather clocks and everything else in between! I was hesitant to go here, because of the poor reviews. However, I wasn't in the market for a clock, instead I needed one repaired. It appears all the negative reviews are from third party sales. I brought in a mid century starburst clock, hoping it would be an inexpensive fix. Not only was it inexpensive, but the guy working repaired it right in front of me, in just a few minutes. This seller is dishonest. They do not abide by their stated return policy. We purchased an item that we wished to return. We made them aware of this immediately. However, they would not accept our return and dragged their feet by asking a number of questions. Once they finally would accept the return, they said it was to late and we were passed our return date. When this was broached with the seller, the response we got was "Thank you, look forward to reading your review". I only hope this review goes a long way in letting others know that this seller does not care about the customer or upholding the policies they have in place. BUYER BEWARE. read more

If I could give them Minus 100 rating, I would. This business is terrible. I took a clock in for repair and they broke the glass on it. They doctored up the ticket claiming it was broken upon arrival, which it was not. Both the technician who did the work and the managers are LIARS. They refused to replace the glass on their own dime. They are despicable. read more

I bought a Rhythm clock from this company through Amazon and I will never purchase from them again! They posted that they had one clock left so we bought it for $469 considering we had wanted one for many years and our sister who was dying had one very similar. A month and a few days after purchase I was going through my Amazon wish list and the clock showed up for $250.00! I checked and sure enough they were selling for almost half price. I contacted Amazon. Creative Clock would not offer even a partial refund. The $250 price was available from Amazon itself so I asked customer service if I could return the original clock and buy theirs. Creative Clock service then decided to make me pay a 50% restocking fee. WOW! The clock was in excellent condition. The process turned into a month long debate and I spent $40 sending them the clock stickers from my new clock and contacting Amazon 5 times. In the end, I did not pay the restocking fee or the $42 shipping fee that Amazon wanted. I bought my replacement clock for $265. (it went up) and hung it on my wall. Never have had so much trouble. I just hope that eventually I can enjoy the clock and think of our sister who passed without recalling the hassle. read more
