They are amazing! I brought in a very sentimental watch because I could not get the back cover back on. The kind gentleman popped it right back on, and repaired another watch I brought in also but didn't charge me a penny. I will be back with all my other jewelry needs, thank you for taking care of me! read more

Art's Watch Repair - My dads watch - Watch Repair Near Me - Eugene, Oregon

I had a good experience at Art's, even though the gentlemen there couldn't resolve my problem -- not their fault! They were very kind about it. My older watch had stopped working, but it was made by a company that no longer had replacement parts. They diagnosed the issue quickly and were up front about my options -- and they didn't even charge me for the time it took to deliver the unfortunate news. read more

Polite, fast, reasonable. Just had a battery changed in my fathers watch. The last one purchased there lasted 2 years. Thank you!

Came to them with a watch I have had for over 10 years to get repaired, company gave Art's the run around and could not get us parts for the repair of the older watch. We had been working at it for almost 6 months. They came up with options for a resolution that I thought was horrible for them but great for me. And I came out of an issue feeling well taken care of in a situation that I know other companies would have turned me away or just left me hanging for a lot longer time frame. read more

He fixed a gold necklace for me that I could not put on more because of the arthritis in my fingers. He used magnets which works really well. He charged me $15 which is more than reasonable. He's done other things for me in the past, I never did a review, but I would highly recommend him and he has another jeweler in there now to help him. read more

I took 3 pieces of jewelry in today... all special family pieces. Herman is the jeweler who gave me his expert advice regarding the repairs I needed and changes I had in mind. He knew exactly what kind of gold jewelry I brought in and gave me some of the history behind them. One gold bracelet I brought was a gift from my Dad to my Mom. My Dad engraved a message inside the bracelet to my Mom. They have both passed away and I've never been able to wear the bracelet because it was just too small. Herman made a suggestion to change that and after he worked his magic, I'm able to wear this very special piece, reminding me of both my parents. Herman is not only an expert and the epitome of professionalism but he is also a man of integrity and deep compassion. If you have special pieces of jewelry you need to repair or change to fit, Herman will guide you. It may not be possible to do what you want but Herman will be honest and will suggest alternative options. His work is impeccable! I'm so grateful!!! read more

6 Star watch repair. Old school customer service, from an experienced and qualified Master Watchmaker. You may recognize the name, and certainly the faces, as this shop has been providing quality watch repair at various locations in Eugene for decades. I had an issue with my watch band, and brought it to Art's Watch at Jewelry. The staff was both friendly and professional. My watch was fixed while I waited, and at a surprisingly reasonable price. Art's Watch Repair is conveniently located off Good Pasture Island Road, across from the Honda dealership, just off Delta Highway. I did some research on Jewelers and watch repairs in the area. After careful consideration, I chose Art's Watch and Jewelry, and I'm so glad I did! Need watch or jewelry repair? Start at Art's; you'll be glad you did (and thank me later!) These two lovely gentlemen are pros. They solved my problem with my wedding ring spinning, with a quick and ingenious fix.

I needed the battery replaced in my watch recently. I called one of the big jewelry places in town and asked about the service. They said it's preferred to have the customer to drop off and allow 24 hours for their watchmaker. Not that I was necessarily in a hurry for the service but I decided to contact one more place just to see, and found great reviews for Art's so I gave them a call. I spoke with a very nice older man who told me watch battery replacement is a walk-in service completed while you wait. Great! I kid you not when I say that this service took 90 seconds or less to be done! It took longer for me to dig into my purse for my wallet than it did for that person to swap the battery, check it and reset the time, giving my watch a quick clean with a cloth before handing it back over. It was amazing! In and out in 5 minutes! Art's storefront is located in a little business area of Goodpasture Island tucked amongst other small businesses and medical offices, with plenty of parking. It is a small shop but you don't need much when dealing with small items like watches and jewelry (likely easily missed unless you are looking for this type of business). The service was both expert and kind. Highly recommend! read more

Wonderful old world shop. My sister in law was up visiting. She lives in California and had trouble finding someone to repair the pocket watch that she had given her husband 30 years ago. This shop fixed it and took great care. Price was good. Very much LCC world. read more

My cat passed away very recently and I've had this cat ring since childhood that I hadn't worn for a long time because it was broken. I took it to Art's on 9/21 with a promise it would be ready by 9/26. I got the call in the early afternoon that it was ready! I drove there very excited to see it. And let me tell you, I am so incredibly impressed with the quality. They were able to solder the band so you can't even tell it had been broken and they polished it so well it looks brand new!!! The gentleman was so kind too and asked me about my cat, knowing I was supposed to get her ashes back today (which I received earlier). Customer service and quality are top notch. It's a rarity these days to be so personable with customers but it filled my heart. I know where I'll be going should I need any future repairs. read more

I have been wanting to get my engagement ring and wedding ring resized for quite some time. I went to another jeweler in town already to get a quote. The price range was $240-$320 depending whether I wanted the rings re-plated or not. Ended up checking out Art's shop based on previous reviews. Easy check in process, was told it would cost $60 each ring for resizing and re-plating was free. Half the price of the other place! Plus my rings were done in 5 days. They look amazing and like new! I recently moved to Oregon and was looking for someone to look at my Nixon watch, I have had it many years and never had anything go wrong with it. I took it to John who told me the watch case was on too tight, the battery was fine, cleaned the terminals and put oil on the mechanism, few mins later he said it had started working. Best thing is it cost me $10 and not $285 that Nixon quoted me. I will be recommending John to everyone and using him in the future. Thank you. read more

I live in a small town on the coast. One day I noticed that I had lost a sapphire out of my wedding ring. The local jeweler estimated $2600 to repair and replace the Sapphire. My husband and I drove up to Eugene and went to Art's. They replaced the two sapphires on each side of my diamond with higher quality stones so that they would match. They repaired the broken prong and checked the entire ring. The cost was $795. I appreciated the courteous treatment and the reasonable price. Best of all my ring looks better than new! read more

Art knows watches. I recently bought a watch on Amazon and it was a little big for my wrist. I brought it into Art and in less time than I could say "Art's Watch Repair" it was done. I was expecting to pay between $10-20 based on a wild estimate. When he told me it would only be $7 I thought I was stealing from him.
