    Mushroom skewers.

Dinner here while in town. This place is something special. We had a few small plates, a salad and the rigatoni. The mushroom skewers were amazing!!! Rigatoni was scrumptious Nd the salad was delish. I would love to go back a few more time to try everything on this menu. Good service and nice vibe inside. Love this place.

The food is so good here, we went back twice on our 3 day vacation. The first time we tried the ceviche, cabbage, and thai chicken. We also got two cocktails and the sticky date cake as dessert. Everything was so flavorful, with the cabbage being my favorite. We knew we had to come back to try the other items. Our second experience was just as good. We tried the pasta, broccoli and short rib.. I opted for a hot roobios tea that hit the spot. We had the same server each time and she provided great service. The restaurant is bright and had a banging playlist.

Exception restaurant in Canmore!! Was tricked by friends when brought here initially - thought it was marijuana edibles on the menu. Went for a late lunch on a weekend. Gorgeous interior with two dining areas with a view of an open kitchen in between. Huge assortment of food from appetizers to pizza to smaller and larger dishes. Ate family style and tried all the food. The pickled brined chicken was a highlight - so flavourful and could be made into a lettuce wrap. The cabbage was surprisingly good. Service was fantastic. Only strange thing was the hours. Not open until 2 pm.

I was really craving some meat and this place delivered. A bit on the pricey side, and reservations are definitely recommended, but the food was worth it. What made this meal: -I ordered the Chipotle Crusted Bavette. Super tender and full of flavor. I'm always a sucker for a good steak, and this one didn't disappoint. Some other things that were average but good: -Spinach pizza was elevated with the pear. I liked it but not crazy about it. -Pickled brined fried chicken was good. Just a nice crispy chicken that you can wrap with lettuce. -Grilled Lamb Sirloin (minus cilantro) was good but the curry was a bit cold. Docking a star for the wait time. It took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. I understand they try to time the dishes to come out together, but it would've been nice if they asked whether we wanted our small plate served first since we were treating it like an appetizer. And by serving it all at the same time, one person's curry arrived slightly cold, and another dish came out even later (maybe it got missed in the order). We were a party of six, so I get that things can get hectic. I only wish the food had arrived a bit sooner, or that the staff had asked if we preferred dishes to be served as they were ready. Overall, I'd still recommend this spot, just make an earlier reservation so you're not starving while waiting.

The well-traveled chef demonstrated the Asian western fusion cuisine to the max! I loved the prawn ceviche, fried chicken, labneh, mushroom skewer and Canadian red wine at happy hour are so worth it!!

Great food! Service was a little slow, but overall, it was a great experience. The location was perfect--away from the busyness of Banff, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal.

Such a diverse menu here! We tried: * Labneh: very good flavors with eggplant and herbs * Masala ribs: large portion size; the masala spices were very mild, so it was more like normal ribs (1 star off) * Thai chicken: overall flavor was good, but I did not get any of the cilantro, lime, and coconut listed on the menu * Chocolate budino cake: a solid chocolate cake to end a meal I was a little worried about the kind of restaurant called Crazyweed, but was pleasantly surprised by a good dinner here. And it was not because the food was laced with crazy weed...at least as far as I know.

Great overall experience. Easy to make a reservation which I would recommend doing. Cute ambiance. We sat inside but the patio looked lovely. Service was optimal. Waited around 10 minutes for a server to come, but the hostess brought us water while waited. Drink orders were dirty martini, fen old fashioned, and earl gray cocktail. All were fabulous. Food order was the wedge salad, orecchiette, dear baba, and chipotle crusted bavette. Would recommend all of them! Good portion sizes. My boyfriend and I split the wedge and bavette and it was lefty for the both of us. My only complaint is there are inconsistencies/incorrect info in the menu with items and where they are originally from... not a big deal. Just something I enjoy knowing and looking at. Still a great experience.

Gnocchi entree and broccoli vegetable plate

The service was great and the food was incredible! We got the broccoli side and the gnocchi entree to split. I don't even normally like blue cheese but the sauce on the broccoli was delicious. The gnocchi was also very unique and very delicious. Best meal of our trip, would recommend to anyone.

This was our face time and it was our friend's favourite place so that's why we went there! Right from the outside, the place looks beautiful and cozy! When we entered the place, it was the same vibe. They had beautiful artworks around and the place was beautifully designed and decorated. The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional! The food was great! We all enjoyed the amazing appetizers and then the main course was really delicious! The drinks were also great and we loved our experience there! I'm sure I'll go back there again and I highly recommend this place! :)

Excellent bartender and staff. However, we came here based on reviews, and this place is way overrated and way overpriced for what you get We had an appetizer beet dish that you could have done better picking up at Walmart And to top the disappointing food experience, they confused their regular $45 restaurant salmon with someone else's so my simple salmon took so long that I had to take it home (look at photo of takeout box) because we had to pick up our dog. Skip this place.

Great spot with eclectic menu. Everything we got tasted like more. The shrimp ceviche had great Thai flavors and was wonderful with the good morning Vietnam cocktail. Our waiter was great and we celebrated a friends birthday perfectly here at crazy weed. Our table got two orders of the cabbage and basically asked for the recipe. Hallumi flavors were bold and complementary. Would go back!

Crazyweed was by far my favorite place we ate at during our time in Banff & Canmore. The food is incredible. Such interesting dishes full of flavor. Our waitress was SO nice and offered up some suggestions for us as it was our first day in Canmore coming from Banff. Definitely eat here if you want quality dishes with a simple, casual atmosphere!

No chives, mashed potato, grilled asparagus, crispy onion, and caramelized onion jus. It was amazing, fall-apart tender and full of flavor. I paired it with a 9 oz pour of the Villa des Anges Cabernet (Languedoc, France), and it was a perfect match. Highly recommend that combo. Honest heads-up on the steaks, though: I had the 6 oz Flat Iron and it was just "ok". It was tough and under-seasoned. My friend's ribeye came out the same way. For a place sourcing 31-day aged Alberta beef, I expected more from the steaks. So if you're deciding, skip the flat iron/ribeye and go for the short rib. That's the dish to order. Parking is the usual Canmore situation. We found a reasonably priced spot on a nearby side street, but locals know you just grab whatever you can find. Good food, good vibe, handled our big group with kids well. I'd go back.

As a result, staffing in the main dining was stretched very thin and they struggled to get reservations sat and tables cleared. That being said, we saw the GM Basma Doubaji step up and assist in clearing/cleaning tables, providing waters and menus, and doing everything in her power to get through a backlog of people waiting to served. The restaurant was beautiful inside and while some of the dishes and drinks took time, everything was great overall. Had it not been a holiday weekend that was simultaneously inundated by a wedding party, I have no doubt it would have been even better.

Attended a wedding here and everything was just perfect!…read more First off, the view is undeniably breathtaking. We were here for early dinner and we witnessed the sun setting. While waiting for everyone to come & settle down, they were serving appetizers. Everything on the menu was so delicious. Drinks were good! Tried the wine they were offering - Cabernet, ot was earthy, dry, just perfect. I had mocktails but decided that a shot of tequilla won't hurt. Had to do a repeat on that - yep, it was that good. Main course was absolutely light. Had the chicken, my dad had the fish, and my mom had the beef - we had a taste of everything. The dessert was a flourless chocolate cake that tasted really good. I was surprised at how goodot was. I did not get to try their menu because it was already pre ordered but i would definitely be trying it out next time. Before I forget, staff was super accomodating. They made sure everyone had their parking validated, etc. There is parking but can get packed easily so plan ahead.

The wait staff was pleasant knowledgeable and accommodating. We were in a large party so we had a semi private dining area. Their specialty cocktails were great and very appealing to the eye in regard to the presentation upon delivery to the table. Very well put together flavour notes hit. The noise level in the restaurant was perfect for socializing so no complaints there. We did have a large party which probably pushed the kitchen staff a bit because some of the plating of a few dishes came out and were not complete ( 2out3 dishes came missing some plating components) when we made a comment to the waiter he went to investigate. They realized the issue and made a course correction on our bills which was appreciated. I hade the pork chops and I'll say the plating presentation was good but the quality of the the chops not so much, now I've worked in the industry in the past so I usually give a wide birth when it comes to the doneness of my proteins. But these were over cooked or seemed to have been cooked from a frozen state because they were dry as an Alberta summer. Not to mention tough and for that reason is why I'm only giving a 3 out of 5. Pork chops should be cooked through but full of juice these definitely missed the mark. The other components of the dish were great cooked proper with a perfect balance of seasoning. I'd come stop in again if I was in town but I'd probably wouldn't get the chops again.
