What a wonderful experience. We were immediately greeted upon entering and were seated shortly after. The server was friendly and attentive. I ordered the machaca and eggs, which was delicious. And a huge serving. Taking the leftovers to-go will probably last two more meals! The other was an egg and hash brown dish. Eggs were cooked perfect, bacon crispy, and hash browns were also crispy. Was wut in Palmdale for my daughter's race... stopped by in Acton for a late breakfast on the way h. Service was solid. Food was average at best. Cleanliness was below average. My oatmeal was on par with what you expect from the free continental breakfast at a hotel. The hash browns with one meal were plentiful but lackluster. Crazy Otto's has great food. You definitely get a lot. Enough to share with somebody. The girls are hard workers so please tip them well. I saw a big family come in. If I could give a zero I would. Worst service ever. We live up the street and have come here a few times. Came on a Sunday after church with a group of 8 to order to-go and the hostess or lady working the cash register was awful. So rude. We told her we wanted to order to go and grabbed a few menus and were off to the side waiting and she told us to go wait outside there were too many of us. There was no one else waiting just us and we asked are you serious you're telling us to go outside? She said yes we are too busy. Our friend came out of the bathroom and was surprised when we told her we basically got kicked out as we were about to bring business to their restaurant. One of the waitresses heard and we said thanks but we are not going to eat here and she said sorry. Our friends said they know the owner and they would call. We were appalled and will never go back there. Go to Grizzly Burger for breakfast better. Or better yet go to Crazy Otto's on Lancaster. We now go there every Sunday. Saturday mornings at 10am you'd think this place was the only open eatery within ten miles, talked about a packed house. The food, once it shows up makes the reason for the crowd apparent. Plenty of seating, if you are dining alone, you can grab a seat at the bar like an old school diner. It's tucked inside a small, very quiet Plaza, in between a Liquor store and other small shops. They offer delicious breakfast, you've GOT to give their biscuits and gravy a shot. Everything from giant 7 egg omlettes, to pancakes, to normal breakfast combo plates. Every dish is so much food you will never leave hungry. They also offer lunch items like prime rib sanwiches, clubs, and of course great burgers and fries. It's a great local spot to grab some solid diner food and be served by exceptionally kind people. Plenty of parking in the Plaza Peak hours you may have to wait 15 mins for a table They also offer to go pick up orders. It's located right off the Santago Exit on the 14 freeway, so it's a quick exit, grub and jump back on the freeway if you are just passing by. read more

Hostess Nikki is amazing. Note: place was busier than usual. Nikki has the perfect personality to be a waitress; she's very friendly and explains the situation. Unlike our waitress totally ignored us, didn't come and say hi till after a long time, didn't excuse herself nor apologies for taking someone else's order before us when we came before them, I requested a complimentary coffee for the inconvenience of waiting so long and her taking the order of someone else first, she declined and said she has to charge for the coffee. Wow!, unbelievable!! Thank goodness for Nikki and the other young adults working here who made up the difference of our impassive waitress. Wish these 3 young adults the best! Michele was our server today. ,She didn't greet us the way she was greeting other customers. She looked rushed and stressed. She took our order impatiently towards myself and my family. I feel discriminated because we are Hispanics,we saw the way she treated another ethnicities. I wanted to enjoy my Sunday breakfast but this place was Judy not it. This place came highly recommended as the best restaurant in Acton, CA. However, the service was bad which made all of the food seem disappointing. We didn't get our order taken well after everyone who came in after us were already eating. And, we were only given one napkin each which didn't work very well since we had ordered kind of messy items - avocado burger and chilli cheese dog omlet. The avocado burger was pretty good and so was the chilli cheese dog omlet. Nothing amazing here. But the chilli was definitely better than the chilli used at "Original Tommy's". I'd stack the bad service up to Covid and give them a try - maybe you'll have better luck. read more

We went here for lunch here at Crazy Otto's after our hike at Vasquez Rocks. We have excellent customer service and professional/friendly restaurant staff instead of that rude guy at the local fingerprinting office in Valencia. We also have relaxing ambience with country music, amazing sourdough bread on my avocado cheeseburger, ranch dressing for my fries, orange juice, water, etc. I highly suggest going to Crazy Otto's again. read more

10/10 great food great service, sausage patty and two egg combo was very good. Half omelet fill a whole plate, more than enough!

The food was freshly made and came in good portions. The ham steak on my friend's plate was super thick. The waitress was by herself but moved fast and did a great job and was very friendly. I've been here before and didn't like the food I got but gave it another try. Glad I did because the French Toast was delicious. The place itself has an old diner feel to it and fits it like a glove. What a disappointment, we have been going to Crazy Otto's for years and stopped in this morning for breakfast and while it was clean and the staff was pleasant, the food was terrible. Not in the way it was prepared, a cook can only do so much. The quality of food was terrible. We ordered steak and eggs and an avocado and cheese omelet. The steak was so tuff it couldn't be cut with a steak knife and the avocado for the omelet was prepackaged mashed avocado. Think store guacamole without all the fixings and it wasn't even in the omelet. It was smeared on the plate under the omelet. Over $50 for two people and the most edible things on the plate were the hashbrowns and toast. I wouldn't mind paying high prices for a good quality meal but for poor quality, it's just not worth it. Ordered breakfast plates- 3 pancakes with bacon and 2 eggs and the Eggs Benedict plate with hash browns and English McMuffin and my husband and I barely got thru eating a quarter of it. I wish it was because of the large portions but sadly the food was just terrible. The pancakes were too watery, or fluffy at all and just kept breaking in pieces. They were HUGE pancakes for nothing. They gave 3 sides of syrups which was nice and helped me get thru eating half a pancake but I honestly felt like I was forcing myself. 4 big slices of bacon which was more than the average. The eggs were bad. I got the overeasy and they were overcooked. My husband got the eggs benedict and wow they sucked. The hollendaise sauce had no flavor which was the whole point of why we got this dish or else we could've just shared the 2 eggs from the other plate. Hashbrowns and ham was whatever. We honestly age just a few bites and we were over it. We felt bad about wasting food especially with it being about $30 we even offered it to our close neighbor who has lived here in Acton all his life thinking hopefully he would enjoy it (he's ate here before) and even he was disgusted and couldn't barely eat any of it. I love breakfast places especially pancakes so this is pretty disappointing for me to say I would've rather had a breakfast plate and McDonald's. I guess with this place it's quality over quantity. I give 2 stars because the portions are huge and the people are nice but I would never come back or recommend this to anyone honestly. read more

1st time at this location since it was on my way to Palmdale I decided to stop. Food taste exactly like the other one in Lancaster. Except they seems to give u just as much as u would get from dining in vs take out. Only thing here please remember to ask for utensils. I got 3 pancakes, bacon and seems like 1 eggs. Pancakes is enough for 2-3 people. I'd order one breakfast that includes pancakes and order additions sides. read more
