The burgers are good and the shakes are delicious! The last time we visited we had two separate orders in the drive thru. We received three bags and asked if both orders were included and we were told yes. When we got home we discovered only the first order was given to us. I went back to the counter this time and they had the second order bagged and ready. Assuming it was correct, I went home again only to discover it wasn't what I ordered! So I went back a third time (luckily, I live close by) and had to wait for the kids to come back into the restaurant and make my second order again. They were busy having a friend burn rubber in the drive thru - the clerk even told me there was going to be a lot of smoke by the drive thru so I should stand away. Disgusting and Unsanitary! I've been to this place a few times in the past and generally enjoyed the burgers, but my recent experience was so bad, I'll never go back. I stopped by after dropping off some parts nearby, and I wish I'd listened to the person I was meeting, who warned me about the chili. Luckily, I don't eat chili, so I figured I'd be fine based on my previous visits. Boy, was I wrong. When I arrived, I could tell they were seriously understaffed. The cook was also taking orders, which wasn't a big deal--until I saw what he was doing. He was wearing black gloves, which should be for cleanliness, right? But then I watched him scratch himself, handle cash from the drive-through, take my order on the register , and then grab cheese and bacon with the same gloves without ever changing them! Absolutely disgusting. The lack of hygiene was unacceptable, and I couldn't bring myself to eat the food after seeing that. I walked away after paying, completely disgusted. This place has really gone downhill, and I'm shocked that in a neighborhood full of people who proudly wave their Trump flags, they would allow an establishment like this to operate with such low standards. Waited in the drive thru today Saturday 11/11/23 for over 20 minutes at lunch- 1 truck ahead of me who orders quickly and I'm told to wait a minute- no, 20 and still didn't take my order. Too bad these small businesses are mismanaged and they won't survive, I reversed and left. I noticed that they were taking customers orders at the walk up window and ignoring the drive thru. We asked a gentleman who was sitting outside on his break where the bathroom was and he said it's only for paying customers and to head to the front. Mind you we really had to use the restroom. I ordered food on Postmates for pick up. It said it would take 10-20 minutes for my order to be ready. 2 minutes after placing my order I received an alert from Postmates saying my order was accepted and they were preparing my food. About 10 minutes later (12 minutes after the order was placed) I drove down to Grizzly Bear and went through the drive through. The lady told me my order wasn't accepted yet and they still needed to make it and it would be 10 minutes before it was ready. I was instructed to pull into the parking lot and wait and my order would be brought out to me. As we sat in the parking lot we saw 4 cars pull up, place orders, get their food and drive off. 15 minutes later back to see why it's taking so long and the lady points to food that was sitting outside the window on their platform (for who knows how long) and she said "I was trying to wave to you that it was ready". We checked the food and because it's 50 degrees outside it's cold. The employee even acknowledged it was cold. We asked them to remake it, and they said "we are out of those products so we can't remake it"... what!? read more
