When I ordered the tires on.the phone, I was upsold to have insurance. The day I went to get the…read moretires put on, I said that I could go with out the insurance and asked the counter clerk to not include the insurance and to make sure not to charge it. He said that would be ok. When I went to pay, insurance was charged. I spoke to the manager,, and he said it was impossible to remove the insurance. I checked Big O corporate policy, and the policy stated it was up to the manager. So truth is that he lied, he just didn't want to remove the charge. Next time I went back for a tire rotation, I didn't agree to another upsale. He lost it for a second and threw my keys on the counter and then regained composure and told me my warantee would be invalidated. I don't trust this location or its manager so I checked AI if the upsell service was needed, which it wasn't needed. I do not to trust AI all the time, but I trust this manager less. I do not recommend going to this shop. Perhaps a new more respectful management style that engedered trust would improve its rating.​

Then called Tri-State Tire. The staff were busy and asked to leave a message in a recording. I was exasperated so I didn't. A few minutes later Bob from Tri-State called and apologized for not being able to pickup the call. He asked if they could help me and I explained what I needed done. He said absolutely and asked me if 9 am was good which I said great. These guys treated me like I was their best customer. It made me think back to the glory days of service when attendants pumped your gas, washed your windshield, and checked the oil. These people and this business are awesome. I strongly recommend this business for tire needs unless your comfortable being treated like just another number.

I asked him if some tires I was looking at online were in stock. He retorted, "What does it say? If it says in stock they're in stock." I was like, "Oh... okay... I think I'll try your Lindon location,"and left. Then I stopped at the Lindon store and met Jonathan (Jony). Dude might be the best sales person I've ever met. Took his time to explain everything. Verified that the tires I had been looking at were, in fact, NOT in stock in Lindon or Orem (as opposed to what the website said) and recommended some alternatives that were in stock. Took time to come look at my truck, brought the tire out to look at next to my truck, and found a discount for me to boot! We'll see how the tires ride and wear, but so far I'm very pleased with the value. And he saved me $900 on a set of tires over Les Schwab.

Took my 2016 Audi A6 in for an oil and filter change Nov. 13, 2025. After 0nly 372 miles I saw an…read moreoil puddle of clear oil on my garage floor. I called them to report this, they said bring it in for a diagnostic steam clean and dye to the oil for I think $130 or so. I feel they should have look at it for free seeing as though I told them there was no leak before they did the oil change. Took the car into another auto repair to have them look at it. the problem was the wrong oil pan plug and washer was installed resulting in the leak. I would like a refund of the cost to have it diagnosed and repaired with the proper plug and washer was $160.43. I won't charge you for my time.

I came in because my car was squealing when I started it, but it did not do it on the day of the appointment. Rather than blowing me off or charging me for something I may not need, they opted to make sure my car was safe to drive and inspected the engine. They noticed that I had some oil build up, so they taught me how to check my oil and educated me on how to take care of that in both the short and long term. They made sure my serpentine belt was safe to drive and answered all of my questions, despite not charging me. No one works on commission here, and they really seem to do right by the customer. I will for sure be back with any of my auto mechanic needs!

Their service is top notch, I've had no problems with any repairs and maintenances, and they are very knowledgeable. Aside from the routine oil changes, I've requested two major repairs from them- one being a carburetor replacement and one being a full detailed inspection and replacement of connecting rods.
