But I wanted to bring something valuable to WOMEN because there is a woman at the front desk (KENIA) who comes in and mops the floors, cleans the bathroom and make the waiting room look + smell amazing. I never write reviews but what Glen did for me today was extraordinary. I was upset about a car that I purchased from a dealership and I randomly picked his shop to have my car checked out. All of my family lives in TN and I was a mess after the dealership surprised me with a warranty cost. I wanted to make sure I wasn't also sold a bad car. Glen was busy but he took the time to listen and he cared. I felt alone trying to fight the dealership for my money back and Glen not only listened, cared, but also called the dealership to have my back. He spent about an hour of his busy day to help me, even though he didn't know me. I will be getting all of my car maintenance at Glen's Tires. I only go to Glen's Tires when I need tires and I tell all of my friends that this is where they should go as well. Mike, the owner, is personable, friendly and helpful. I appreciate a place that values honesty and has integrity. In speaking with one of the employees the last time I was in, I commented on how much i appreciate their integrity and his comment to me was that Mike's philosophy is that he'd rather treat you right and earn your business forever, instead of trying to get as much money out of you as he can for one visit. read more

Don't trust what they say Get it in writing. I've spent close to $2,000 in tires for my truck and car. I had them do additional work on my truck and they messed up. They Promised to fix it at no cost. That was not the case. I will not do business with Glen's Tires or Mike any longer. read more

Nothing but racist white bitches work here. I was really told to go get my car from the back of their shop and not to ever come back cause I asked what was taking so long on a basic car buying check up that I had already waited 30+ minutes for. Me and my boyfriend were the only ones in their store and they didn't even turn their OPEN sign on. Some white guy walks in and needs his tires changed and they jumped right up and got that done. I watch him pay and leave. so I ended up looking outside and there I see my car just parked in the back of their building instead of actually being looked at, so when I bring that to their attention, tanner said a tire truck that was blocking it for TWO minutes was the excuse for them not even touching my car yet, even though it had been way over a half an hour since I came in. And tanner was also the dumb ass who told me to not come back, hahaha. Yeah you can bet I definitely walked into the back and took my car out of their unprofessional businesses parking lot, and I definitely didn't pay them for doing nothing to my car. Glens tires in west valley is a way better establishment with much better employees and customer service/care, save your money and your time go somewhere else. read more

These guys are top notch. I wish they had a branch in Colorado. They would be my only mechanic if they did. My Jeep broke down in Wyoming but I was able to limp into Salt Lake City. I had to get back to Colorado, somehow, so I asked some friends who live in Salt Lake City and they recommended Glen's Tires. Over the phone I explained that I wanted the shocks and struts replaced and I quoted the price that my friend said he paid to have the same work done. Without a shrug Mike, the owner, said no problem. The price I quoted was several hundred dollars less than many other places had quoted me for the same work. In addition, Mike said that they could do the work that very day, even though I had cold called them on the spur of the monument. The work ended up taking longer than they had anticipated but they didn't charge me for the extra two hours of labor. They also discovered that I needed a steering dampener replaced and again only charged me the price that they had quoted me over the phone, even though it took longer than they thought it would. Now my Jeep runs so well it is like driving on a cloud and the seven hour drive back to Colorado was enjoyable. read more

Glen specializes in Tires ONLY. When I took my automobile for service to fix a spark plug blowing out my engine the mechanic fixed the issue, but forgot one small minor detail gapping the spark plug. As a result, the engine idleness was rough in which their mechanic blamed other things. The spark plug not being gapped wasn't discovered until I got home and pulled it out. I can only recommend good tire service, but stay away from their other services. read more

I got a set of used tires at Glens. Paid $400+ for the tires and install. The tires vibrated like crazy, total trash. I'm a reasonable person, I understand they most likely didn't know this. So I come back in, tell Glen in person what is going on, he says that's make it better. Better to him is- we'll put your old tires back on, take the tires we sold you and refund you nothing. Oh no, you'll get a store credit for $180. That's a credit I'll never use, this place will never touch a vehicle of mine again. read more

They always take great care of me here. We bought tires from them and they gave us a great price on better tires than we could find on our own at Costco or Walmart. They were very open in communicating with us about all our options. And the service is incredible. Any time I had any problems they were fast and kind. We get a lot of nails because of all the building happening in our area and they take care of us quickly and don't charge us for simple repairs. We bought a new car that doesn't have their tires, and they still take great care of us. I go to them for tire rotations and they check on everything and keep me well informed. Just today I had them do a rotation and found a nail and didn't charge me to repair it. They are very straightforward with me on what needs to be done and don't try to upsell me ever. I will continue to take my business to them because of their incredible service. And they don't get annoyed at my rambunctious toddler running around and trying to destroy the place! I am not one to write reviews. But I thought it was time for this one. I have been into Glen's 3 previous times and they have always taken great care of me with my tires. This time I was in a tuff spot. I just destroyed one of my tires on my truck. The others still had some pretty good life left, but worn enough that if I put a new one on, then I probably needed to replace 2 for balance, which is what I expected them to tell me. But they had 2 of my same tire that were used and a little more tread than my remaining tires. They offered them at a such a good deal that I bought both of them for 1/3 the price that just one of the tires would have cost me after I price shopped it all around town. I have also been to the Glen's around 33rd Redwood when they were swamped busy and I was amazed at how they were zipping people through and seemed to have great rapport with everyone in there. They changed my tires and had me out of there before I even had a chance to get into my book that I had brought to read. I see some less favorable reviews here which prompted me to write. I havent had them do anything but tires and oil, but I can tell you this, there may be places that equal their service, though I am not sure, but there are none that are better. Do not go here unless you want to be ripped off. Bought a coupon online for this place for 3 oil changes. You cant just stop in you have to make an apt for the oil change so I did and when I got there they made me wait 30 min. before they took my car back, even though there was only one person there before me. A few minutes later some guy comes out to ask me what kind of oil I want. I could not even understand what he was saying his accent was so strong, he did not speak English well at all. I said just regular oil and he kept insisting synthetic, I said no thanks I don't need synthetic but he kept insisting which adds a BIG cost to this oil change I had already paid for. I finally had to just ask him to give me my car back so I could go elsewhere, what a rip off. read more

I agree with the review above. We found them very fair, great service, good selection of used tires which were very reasonably priced.. We got a used truck tire with about 95% of the tread for half the price of a new tire. ($65). Look forward to doing business with them again. read more

I literally just downloaded the Yelp app to leave this review because I am so angry right now. 2 months ago, I spent $200 to get new tires on my car. Yesterday, my tire exploded in the middle of the road. When I pulled over to change to my spare, I opened my trunk to discover that Glen's tires had not put my spare back in my trunk after replacing my tires. I had to call them, they couldn't find my spare tire, and wouldn't give me a tow when it was their fault. I got a ride to work today (I had to leave my car in the chik fil a parking lot) and my boyfriend drove down to Glen's tires to get a replacement or a donut. I figured everything would be ok because I had a warranty on the tires. No. They charged him $90 for a new tire because I "drove on a flat and that's why it exploded". First off, I never drove on a flat. Second off, these tires are TWO MONTHS OLD. My warranty should cover this especially since it is their fault, AND they stole my spare tire. I still don't have it back. I will never go here again and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place at all costs. What a rip off. read more

They did a good job on the work performed on my car. Friendly and courteous. The two things that I thought could have been better was their customer service (as in: a thorough explanation of the work performed, an "out-the-door" price on all the work, etc.) lacked. Instead of having all that ready prior to me picking up the car, I had to ask them to provide me that info and when they initiated their response, they kind of looked around their desk to find the paperwork and then lackadaisically gave me an answer once they finally found it. The other thing is I requested that my front headlights be properly aligned as they were off and the mechanic said that it couldn't be done on my car. I went home and looked in the owners manual and it states that they CAN be adjusted. So, I brought it to another mechanic to do it. Bottom line, they need to have a bit better, "bedside manner" for lack of a better way of putting it, and they need to be better informed on the particulars of any given car BEFORE they make a statement on what can or can't be done. read more
