This is my first out of state review, I was most impressed. We saw a very unique sign off to the side of the road, for the Crazy Cow Cafe. So we gotta try this place for breakfast, with that name. I had the special, Loaded Biscuits and Gravy; boy was it loaded. All kinds of breakfast meats, veggies, and even some jalapeno, but not too much though. My wife had a normal breakfast, it was very good as well. Our waitress, Alexis was very nice checking on us all the time, making sure I had plenty of Coffee and water, and the wife had hot water for her tea. All in all, great food, great stop we'll stop here again; next trip through. read more

Great place, decent size menu with lots of option. They also have a lot of specialty drinks along with beer. I had the Shrimp scampi which comes with soup or salad and garlic bread. The sauce was just a bit runny but it was delicious. The salad was fine but they need to put it in a bigger bowl so you can mix in the dressing easier. The garlic bread was better than any restaurant I've eaten at where garlic bread was involved. My husband got the sticky finger basket that comes with either fries or tots. The sticky fingers were excellent. The sauce they use is incredible and the deep fried chicken was crispy. Our waitress, Dani was most awesome. She was very informative of the specials, very attentive and even peeked around the corner just to see if the drinks needed refilling. They aren't cheap but not way expensive. I'd say moderate to a bit more than the chain restaurants. I highly recommend. read more

Ribs were really good. Salmon was great with Asparagus (Fresh veggie of the day). Cornbread and fries were really good too. Fried Oreos are not very good unless you eat them WITH the ice cream, then it's really good! Service was fast and checked in frequently. Restaurant ambiance: nice and clean. Food is mediocre at best. Had the stuffed burger and the sticky fingers. Burger was small for 15 dollars, the sticky fingers are just tenders tossed in maple syrup. The restaurant is clean, service was respectful but slow and airheaded. Didn't bring us silverware, no extra napkins, no drink refills. Didn't see our waiter for 20-25 minutes after we were served our food. If you are looking for a quick in and out with quality food not a great place for that. read more

As many times I've driven up and down into Beaver, the first time going up to Salt Lake City, I couldn't help but notice the Crazy Cow Cafe signs displayed along the 15 freeway, and the curiosity kept increasing over time, but I did finally got the chance to experience what the restaurant offered. First things first, quirky business names ALWAYS catch my attention, and I didn't realize that the name was inspired by a Stephen King novel. Now, when I walked in, I fell in love with the cow-themed decorations all over the restaurant, from sculptures to paintings on the walls. I got seated right away, as it wasn't busy, and my waitress took good care of me. I had the Patty Melt and a Piña Cow-lada. Haha. The drink was creative and tasty, the Patty Melt was so good and presentable. Will I come back here again? Absolutely! Their menu is cutely written in cow-puns, and the food choices are something worth trying in the future. read more

We are staying at the hotel next door. Or only place to eat walking distance in the cold. Shocked the food was not good. And service even worse. Supposedly well known for Stephen King's book. Not welcoming with I will be right with you. The kid who was under 21 didn't offer food choices when asked. The next morning the cute younger blonde long haired girl didn't smile or care that we were there. Lasts nights 33.00 rib eye was dry and A1 didn't help. I understand this place is in Beaver and things are a little more pricey here because of tourists traveling through but their prices are absurd considering the quality of their food. They're honestly trying to pass off yellow cake as cornbread. I'm not sure if they ran out of stuff to make cornbread and were just winging it for the weekend or if this is a regular thing for them. There's no mistaking it though, it was box yellow cake. Their steaks were cheap and obviously purchased from the local grocery store and the vegetables were from a frozen bag. They're a cafe, charging $14-22 a plate to prepare their groceries for you. I'm blown away. Would not recommend even if they were the only place open here, which they're not, so go somewhere else. read more

Breathe of fresh air on the I15 drive from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas - outside of the larger towns. Jennifer was amazingly upbeat, happy and attentive. The food was cooked fresh and tasty. A bit more expensive than Mcfood but worth an extra cost in a quiet clean place. Salad bar has a decent selection. We had their stuffed cheese hamburger which was tasty and cheesy. Way to overpriced for what you get won't be coming back and don't suggest you waste your money here. Texas toast is 2 slices of white bread with butter. Salad is about a cup worth of lettuce, 2 small sliced tomatoes and 2 small slices of cucumbers. Country fried steak looked grey. Corn bread was in a muffin tin and burnt on the bottom. read more

Excellent food, I recommend the Barnyard Burger. Good portions, cooked perfectly. Restrooms were very clean. And our waitress Chrissie by far and away was one of the best we've ever had. And we're long haul truck drivers so we've experienced many. We will be back guaranteed, and if you're going through Beaver Utah on I-15, it's worth your while to stop. We were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to order dinner for pickup from the Crazy Cow Cafe. I spoke with two people when I called to place the order and both of them were very nice. My husband ordered the branding iron cheese steak sandwich and I ordered the sticky finger basket. We also got a side order of onion petals and a piece of cheesecake. After driving 8 hours from Wyoming we were starving. The food definitely hit the spot. This place is perfect if you're looking for good food and friendly service. read more

Essentially this is a spruced up diner. My burger and my wife's French Dip were delicious. The kids got a chili burger that wasn't quite as good. The service was friendly. The Tetris Tots were more fun to play with than they were to eat but the onion petals were tasty. It won't change your life but it's a plesant little spot to get something to eat. read more

Well as a truck driver I used to like coming here when it was time to pull over for breakfast. The food is real good and great service. But it has gotten to pricey. They charge $5.50 just for an extra egg? So the same breakfast I can get for $18 (already overcharged at TA PETRO and Dennys in the Flying J's) I have to pay $30 here. So shame on these guys for sticking it to all the tourists who come thru this area. For now on I think I'll just eat breakfast at Timberline Restaurant next to the Quality Inn hotel T exit 108. My waitress, Eva, was very nice and did a wonderful job making sure I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend the Cow Patty Melt. The prices are very high for what you get - the breakfast sandwich doesn't even come with cheese and is a $1.50 up charge if you want it.
