The short Yes, now this is what I like to call hidden gem. The onion rings were fantastic and they had an absolute huge butter cake. The service was nice as well. The Longer We stopped by this place on our way back from St. George for lunch. As soon as I stepped in, I felt very homey and cozy. I will say this felt like one of those diners you seen a TV show where everybody in the local area goes there in orders good food. I ended up ordering the French dip with fries and it was OK. It was not something that I would pick first on my next go around. But I did get to try the burger that they had and it was pretty good though to my surprise my favorite item that I got to try was the onion rings. They were actually pretty amazing, it has been a little while since I've had onion rings taste that good At the end of our lunch, we ended up getting a butter cake, which ended up being pretty good. I will warn you that it is definitely too big for one person and that you probably need a few semi-hungry individuals to take it down. Good food, inattentive service -- not a stop I'll repeat I'm in Beaver several times a week for work, and I like to try local spots when I can. This was my first time at Timberline, and I figured I'd give it a chance instead of my usual stop. The food was decent -- I had the liver and onions, plus the mushrooms with artichoke hearts in butter and oil. Both dishes were cooked well, and the kitchen clearly puts in effort. The service, though, really missed the mark. My waitress wasn't rude, just disengaged. I said "thank you" more than once and never got so much as a nod. My empty glass sat for a while before she asked if I wanted another, and even then, she didn't seem to know what beers they carried. The menu was small and hard to read, and when I asked about one of the brews, she guessed instead of checking. When I ordered a different beer, she asked if I needed another mug -- even though it was obviously a different type. I just said no to keep it simple. Later, it took eight minutes to get my third beer because she was doing side work and chatting with another table. Then I was told there's a three-beer limit -- no explanation, just "that's our policy." I asked locals afterward, and no one had ever heard of that rule. Even the hotel clerk said it depends on the place. It's not about the limit itself; it's about how it was handled. I'm a respectful customer -- I don't cause trouble, and I still left a fair tip because the kitchen earned it -- but I won't be back. It's a shame, really. Paired that bad boy with one of the iciest coldest beers I've ever been poured. My sister had the Turkey club and was super impressed with the high quality ingredients. I loved the french toast. If you asked for fruit spread, they would give you real strawberry bits in container which I requested. They do have blueberry jam, though. Fries were alright. 2026 and racism at a restaurant still exists. They said they are at full capacity and did not even give us a wait time. The restaurant was clearly not at capacity. Open tables everywhere. Man oh man let me tell you. We stayed the night in the hotel next door to this spot. Came in from California on our motorcycles on our trip to Sturgis. Never did we think we would eat one of the best meals of our life. From our server Chelsie who was an absolute doll, welcomed us with a smile. We stopped at this cute homey restaurant on our way down to Vegas and then on our way back up. We had a good experience both times . The food is delicious! On our first trip I tried the vegetable chowder and the chicken piccata, and on the second I had a hot turkey sandwich and a cinnamon roll. No notes! Everything was incredibly tasty. Husband and I ordered the same thing. Hash browns and two eggs with coffee. Hash browns, were burnt to a crisp and the eggs were runny and old. Even the bacon was burnt on the edges and rubbery. I'm surprised this place gets so many great reviews as we left our entire meal on the plates. The coffee was good. Pot roast was trash bland tasteless and still ice cold in the middle putting freezing cold onions and tomatoes not a big deal but on top of an already cold meal wasn't good at all. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We arrived in Beaver at 9:45pm. The restaurant closes at 10:00pm the open sign was still on. When we came in we asked the staff if they were still open as we knew it was so close to closing time. They welcomed us in with open arms. Not one bad remark or dirty looks. We had been travelling for 15 hours. The food was absolutely fresh and delicious. This restaurant is the reason we will make Beaver Utah our first night sleep when coming from Canada. I wish I would have noted our waitresses name. I took a piece of caramel pecan cheesecake to go and it was the most amazing I have ever had. Amazing Service. See you next year! Another couple who came in after us had the same experience except they left after being ignored. The positive reviews are written by locals trying to sucker you in.
