Fresh fast food! Nice accommodating service and delicious salsa. Many options to choose from

Carnitas tacos - Three carnitas tacos topped with chopped tomatoes, onions, and cilantro are in a white takeout container, accompanied by a lime, on a red table.

We were headed to Wendy's, but caught a glimpse of Valerie's inside the truck stop. We ordered carnitas tacos, bean tostada and chicken flautas. Food was simple but delicious! Very generous portions, reasonably priced. You can go to Wendy's any time. This is a hidden gem! Don't miss it!

**UPDATE** I haven't came to this location since October 2020 because they were messing up so badly. Today my husband and I decided to try it out again since it's been so long. Let me just say I am very glad that I did. They have new staff, they are amazing. Sweet, welcoming, and they got our order correctly with no issues at all. The burritos are better than ever. I'm so happy I can start coming here again. If you love Mexican food the way we do, I definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven't already.

Fish taco combo plate #12 for $10
Kevin B.

Got the #12 combo plate, two fish tacos with rice and beans. Great food, could use a little more flavor, so get some sauce with the food. Also the portions of rice and beans were a bit small for the price, but no biggie. Also the staff were real friendly and cool

canned beans with cheese - A foam takeout container contains canned beans topped with shredded cheese, gravy, and garnished with chopped onions and green herbs, with a lime wedge nearby.

Flavor is not there. Bland food. But if you like canned beans with shredded cheese, might be your place.

Worst lookin/tasting tacos I've ever had.

The Taco I got just wasn't good the meet wasn't prepared right you can taste it and the shell was probably harder then a rock couldn't chew threw it very much disappointed.

Black guacamole

Absolutely horrible the guacamole was black the tortillas were very greasy and falling apart and the enchiladas taste like they were old but reheated only thing the seem to have gotten right was the packaging even the lime has no juice in them

Chicken taco, chicken burrito, rice and beans - A styrofoam takeout tray contains shredded chicken taco, rice, beans, and a taco shell, served as a meal.

I just had the best carnitas burrito of my life. New green salsa is delicious and the tortillas are homemade. Delicious and quick!

We stop here every time we go through. We always share a steak quesadilla plate and it is plenty for us both. Yummy!

Just found my new taco spot far away from home…read more Since I've been trucking for almost a week now, I've had the chance to try new food spots on the road -- mostly takeout, no sit-down -- and this place genuinely surprised me. The food was hot, fresh, and way better than expected. If I'm being honest, it was kind of a shocker. It's almost sad to say, but this was better than a lot of what I've had on my recent occasions in San Antonio. I stopped in quickly since we had to get back on the road, and from ordering to food in hand it took no more than 5-7 minutes. I ordered three mini tacos at $3 each, which is a solid price for Utah. I went with one carne asada, one lengua, and one adobada, all topped with cilantro and onion, served on fresh corn tortillas. The tortillas were soft, warm, and clearly made fresh. For salsas, I had two salsa verdes and one salsa roja. The salsa verde was classic and mild -- very fresh and flavorful, though I personally prefer it a bit spicier. The salsa roja delivered exactly what I was looking for with good heat and great flavor. I almost ordered tacos suaves, but I was really craving the mini tacos and I'm glad I went with them. Next time, I'll definitely try the tacos suaves. Everything tasted freshly made and not rushed, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is located inside the Flying J off Interstate 15 (Exit 112), and I was also impressed with how clean the Flying J itself was. Great service as well -- the guy at the counter was friendly and welcoming. This stop turned into a great meal and a new memory in the small town of Beaver, Utah. I'll definitely be back if my routes bring me through again. Highly recommend stopping by Beaver Taco if you're passing through.

They were delicious! We asked for red sauce, green sauce, paid a little extra for pico de gallo, and the nice lady working there gave me pickled jalapeños upon request. Many Mexican restaurants in Southern California, where we live, don't offer the relleno burrito, so that was a win. The whole experience was a win for us, so check them out!

We had the hit variety. So good. My wife had the chicken enchilada, beans and rice. I had the Chili Releno. It comes with 2 Chilis rice and beans. What a great dish when done right and they do it right here. This is Mexican comfort food at its best. Chicken enchilada was pretty big, stuffed with tender chicken. Beans were the kind you cook for hours to achieve the nice background flavors. Service was warm and friendly. They close down first of November till end of February. If in town search them out. It's well worth the trek off the beaten freeway path. Yummy!!!

If you are a vegetarian, make sure to look at the back of the menu to find vegetarian options. We had a very interesting vegetarian tamale, it was an open face tamale, covered with many different vegetables and cheese. I have never had anything like it, and it was quite good. My husband also had one and also a cheese enchilada. The servers were very nice and the restaurant was very clean. If you have a large group though, you need to make a reservation. I haven't seen too many recent reviews so I wanted to leave one that is more current.

Well, there claim is pretty legit. Very legit. It's an unassuming place with unassuming prices that buy you great food and friendly service. Seriously, like way back when friendly service and prices. We had the hand cut fries, a patty melt and bacon jalapeño burger--both with side salads--and a drink...all for $35. The burgers and fries were great. I just wish we would have saved room for the $3 milkshake or the $3 slice of made-today pie. A definite dont miss if you're driving I-15 in the Beehive State!

She gave us menus and directed us to sit anywhere we'd like. The burger menus is quite extensive, and they all come with fries, soup or salad. 3 of us ordered cheeseburgers and 1 got the loaded burger, all with fries on the side. Food is cooked to order, which took about 15 minutes. Our 3 cheeseburgers came out first with the loaded burger just a couple minutes behind. Fries were hot and plentiful, and we all enjoyed our burgers. Hubby noted that the guac on his burger was on the lemony/limey side, so that's good for patrons to know. We were lucky to just beat the lunch rush, as a few more groups came in shortly after us. Loaded Burgers is a solid place if you have a few more extra minutes to spare for your stop/meal.

The Longer We stopped by this place on our way back from St. George for lunch. As soon as I stepped in, I felt very homey and cozy. I will say this felt like one of those diners you seen a TV show where everybody in the local area goes there in orders good food. I ended up ordering the French dip with fries and it was OK. It was not something that I would pick first on my next go around. But I did get to try the burger that they had and it was pretty good though to my surprise my favorite item that I got to try was the onion rings. They were actually pretty amazing, it has been a little while since I've had onion rings taste that good At the end of our lunch, we ended up getting a butter cake, which ended up being pretty good. I will warn you that it is definitely too big for one person and that you probably need a few semi-hungry individuals to take it down. I will say that the spot is not somewhere that you should avoid if you're driving through Beaver. 3.75/5
