When we arrived at this place, we weren't sure we were even at a restaurant. It looked almost like an abandoned building, except for the flowers decorating the porch. It certainly didn't look like a restaurant. But once we got inside, it was like night and day! Very interesting decor inside - I enjoyed it quite a bit - a lot of steam punk stuff, flying machines, and a gigantic plague doctor dominating the back room. I noticed a peach cobbler on my way in and made a silent decision to have some. They also had a selection of ice cream, which we didn't get to try, except for some vanilla on top of my Peach cobbler, which was fantastic. We sat at a long table in the back and they brought us waters in really fun plastic mugs that look like beer casks or something. We heard somebody at the other table rhapsodize about the cheesy garlic bread, so we had to order that, and it was unbelievable. (though the sauce that came with it was a little sweet for my taste). The hits just kept on coming - I had a simple salad with black olives that had some of the most incredible blue cheese dressing I've ever had. I think they made it fresh and our wonderful server brought me the first taste of the new batch. In addition to having given me already a cup of the old batch. She just knew that I would appreciate the new batch so she brought out the 2nd cup. Thanks! Everybody was really pleased with the food. We got a pizza that was half supreme and half pepperoni and mushroom. The supreme pizza was literally one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. Eleanor loved her fettuccine Alfredo, Natalie loved her ravioli, and of course the peach cobbler with ice cream was the perfect ending. There was nothing that anybody ordered that they didn't like. We all ate so much we were stuffed. It's amazing to find a place this good so far away from everything else. You can see that this family (I think it's a family) really put their hearts into this place. If I ever come back this way, I will go there again. Five stars! read more
