    Chili Verde & pineapple juice.

Oh my! Maria has excellent Mexican food here! My spouse had the chili rellenos & I had the chili verde. The food was freshly made by Maria & the tortillas were fresh & thin - like homemade. Staff was attentive & caring. Wish I lived close by, but just traveling through & staying in the RV park (which is perfect). Only thing missing was beer & margaritas because this is Utah.

Cute restaurant, great food, great prices. Friendly staff. My husband I had the cheese enchiladas and shredded beef tacos and finished our meal off with deep fried ice cream that we split and it was delicious! We will definitely be back! The perfect dinner.

My son and I saw this place on the way to Eagle Point to go skiing. We we're so hungry after that we gave it a shot. Parking was a little wonky because it's at the front of an RV park, so just do your best. No liquor, beer or wine. Excellent food and service. Now, my family is from Guanajuato region of Mexico and that's my preference, I Don't "Tex-Mex". Sorry we didn't get before pics, it was so good we dove in.

This place was such an eclectic and inviting place to dine. It is a true cabin qith a huge fireplace in the middle of the roo. My daughter has a deadly dairy allergy and they were amazing at keeping her food safe from all things utters. She ate the refried beans, rice, and a carne asada steak. All of our food was flavorful and delicious. We loved all the fun things to look at, both inside and out. Every table filled up for dinner, no one is in a hurry, so plan to be there for a little while....good place to relax and fill up.

It took some searching to find this gem. Nestled inside a campground/RV park, I heard the navigation to the address was wrong so I kept my eyes open. There is signage and it wasn't a problem. I parked near the office, not blocking the road, in front of a picnic table. A small business with about 8 tables, even large tables for big parties, this log cabin is great. The décor is superb and inviting. It is comfortable and quiet. Chips and salsa was good. You can tell the salsa is homemade chunky with fresh onions and cilantro. I started dinner with dessert: some fried ice cream. It was served in a margarita glass! Beef and bean burrito smothered with red Colorado sauce and cheese was what I had. Was delicious and hearty. I have had my fair share of Mexican food and this is goodly authentic. I prefer more spicy but it's all ok. The meal was so very reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and all smiles and kept beverage flowing. I cannot give more than five stars or I would. Find it. Well worth it. You'll be glad you did. It will be a highlight on your travels.

We absolutely loved this Campground! Very different, fun, unusual and peaceful. With Passport America our night fee was $13.50. Dave (88 yrs young) checked us in and even showed us his old studebaker car - beautiful! Dave showed us to our spot, slightly narrow but very long sight on gravel. To our delight we noticed that each site has a rustic 3 sided shed with a wood table inside. They are made from wood the looks like bark on trees. Very cool. We noticed that a lot of permanent residents extended their shed into rooms and patios. Charming and very unique. There is a Mexican restaurant at the front and it was recommended highly by the locals. Open 4-9 PM The park is surrounded by hay fields and horses, hills and lots of birds. Cute playground equipment such a seings, covered wagon, tires made from rustic wood - reminiscent of youth summer camps. We will totally come back here. Nice people, great price, and fun to see.

    Delicious Flan dessert.

Would give zero stars if possible. Staff was rude and inattentive and somehow the food was worse. Could not recommend less.

Just found my new taco spot far away from home…read more Since I've been trucking for almost a week now, I've had the chance to try new food spots on the road -- mostly takeout, no sit-down -- and this place genuinely surprised me. The food was hot, fresh, and way better than expected. If I'm being honest, it was kind of a shocker. It's almost sad to say, but this was better than a lot of what I've had on my recent occasions in San Antonio. I stopped in quickly since we had to get back on the road, and from ordering to food in hand it took no more than 5-7 minutes. I ordered three mini tacos at $3 each, which is a solid price for Utah. I went with one carne asada, one lengua, and one adobada, all topped with cilantro and onion, served on fresh corn tortillas. The tortillas were soft, warm, and clearly made fresh. For salsas, I had two salsa verdes and one salsa roja. The salsa verde was classic and mild -- very fresh and flavorful, though I personally prefer it a bit spicier. The salsa roja delivered exactly what I was looking for with good heat and great flavor. I almost ordered tacos suaves, but I was really craving the mini tacos and I'm glad I went with them. Next time, I'll definitely try the tacos suaves. Everything tasted freshly made and not rushed, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is located inside the Flying J off Interstate 15 (Exit 112), and I was also impressed with how clean the Flying J itself was. Great service as well -- the guy at the counter was friendly and welcoming. This stop turned into a great meal and a new memory in the small town of Beaver, Utah. I'll definitely be back if my routes bring me through again. Highly recommend stopping by Beaver Taco if you're passing through.

They were delicious! We asked for red sauce, green sauce, paid a little extra for pico de gallo, and the nice lady working there gave me pickled jalapeños upon request. Many Mexican restaurants in Southern California, where we live, don't offer the relleno burrito, so that was a win. The whole experience was a win for us, so check them out!

MY GOD the new crew is absolutely amazing! Especially the afternoon crew. There's this girl with i think braces and glasses; ABSOLUTE angel and because of her service I'm always tipping. She's like the Valerie's soul of the restaurant. I kid you not. She knows all her regulars order and is always serving with a smile. Also when she's working with whom I assume is her regular staff, you can always count on the condiment tables to be stocked, til it gets around the evening time. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty simple, nothing to extravagant, but it is welcoming nonetheless. The food? I mainly come here for the Menudo (the girl who I was just talking about will immediately know who I am LoL) but yes, the menudo. My homegirl told me about menudo, and now Valerie's is my plug for that. It's flavored to my liking, which I deeply appreciate. Do understand that sometimes you may get more bones and cartilage than the cow honeycomb tripe. So ask if you could not get that bones and stuff? I haven't, but I don't think it'll hurt to ask. I like the crew that makes my menudo, so I accept it no matter what I get. If you are drunk off your behind, then baby, come on down to Valerie's for some pretty okay food. I'm not a huge fan of tacos and such, but they're menudo is *chefs kiss* in my opinion. So I can only give my opinion on that. As well as the service. Don't forget to tip them! If a cashier remembers my order off the bat, that means 1, I'm a big back, 2, they are that versed in knowing what I want, and 3, I'm a big back. K bye!

Food is cooked to order, which took about 15 minutes. Our 3 cheeseburgers came out first with the loaded burger just a couple minutes behind. Fries were hot and plentiful, and we all enjoyed our burgers. Hubby noted that the guac on his burger was on the lemony/limey side, so that's good for patrons to know. The Longer We stopped by this place on our way back from St. George for lunch. As soon as I stepped in, I felt very homey and cozy. I will say this felt like one of those diners you seen a TV show where everybody in the local area goes there in orders good food. I ended up ordering the French dip with fries and it was OK. It was not something that I would pick first on my next go around. But I did get to try the burger that they had and it was pretty good though to my surprise my favorite item that I got to try was the onion rings.
