Not impressed. The prices are incredibly high. One dish was $195!!!! I'm willing to pay high prices for exceptional food but this was definitely not that. There was three of us and all of us were very underwhelmed with our orders. Pork tenderloin, chicken fried steak, and chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo was good (not amazing) the others were just okay. $30+ dollars for a plate of pasta Alfredo with some chicken is a lot and it was one of the cheapest things on the menu. The carrots were massive and they were very good. Other than that - I can't imagine ever going back. If you're going to charge these kind of prices you better make sure the quality is top notch and this currently is not. Service was okay. The table they sat us at had not been wiped down. They apologized and wiped it down while we were sat at the table. They forgot to bring butter for the rolls. Oh, rolls were pretty good too. I just wasn't impressed and wouldn't recommend. read more

When I spoke to the server on the way out, after leaving money for the drink, her response to my comment about the burger not being on the dinner menu was, "We are strictly a steakhouse." That is exactly how it was communicated and how it came across to me. I also fully understand the difference between lunch and dinner menus. That wasn't the issue. We were simply surprised, as we had heard about the burger and were looking forward to trying it. As for pricing, I respect that every restaurant sets its own standards. We dine out frequently and are well traveled, so we base our opinions on a wide range of experiences. In this case, the overall experience and value didn't align for us, which is why we chose to leave. This was simply an honest account of our experience, not a personal attack. I wish you and your team the best. Yesterday we rode the trails all day, then headed into town to stop by the Polaris dealership. After that, we decided to try Sagebrush Grill. I had read great things about their hamburger, so we were really looking forward to it. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated, which wasn't an issue at all. We ended up chatting with a gentleman who was also waiting. When we were seated, our table had just been wiped down and was still wet, which wasn't the best first impression. As we started looking through the menu, we realized the hamburger wasn't even offered for dinner. Not a big deal, we're flexible. We eat out often, probably five meals over a typical weekend, and we've traveled enough to know what to expect. I don't mind paying for a good meal. You're paying for the atmosphere, the quality, and the convenience. But the pricing here was just outrageous. There's no way the food could justify those prices compared to the great restaurants we frequent on the East Coast and in Florida. In all our travels, we've never walked out of a restaurant, until last night. As we were leaving, I stopped to let the server know I had left money on the table for the drink she served, and mentioned we were really looking forward to the burger but saw it wasn't available on the dinner menu. Well it has been years since I have been here. A lot has not changed here which is good, why mess with a good thing. This place has been around here for a while, and as always the people here are always great, our waitress Valynee was on top of it. She seated us very quickly and asked for our drink order. She was very attentive with her service brought us our drinks and gave us plenty of time to decide if we wanted an appetizer, before taking our order. We place our order and they had messed up steaks which it wasn't their fault. But the head chef made it right. So we went with it and couldn't complain when they own it. So we had the sirloin steak, fries, veggies and side salad, also the blackened RIBEYE STEAK, mashed potatoes, veggies and veggies and there special for the night the chicken cordon blue, fries, veggies and salad. Wow wow as always everything was cooked to perfection. If people would take the time and showed some pride on their food as the chef here does. Dude is always on top of it. He has a good taste in food and he keeps it simple but high quality. The price is always high. But you can't expect anything less. I will always and mean always pay for top notch food. I'm pretty heartbroken over this one. We come to Sagebrush Grill every time we visit Utah. On this trip we actually added another night to our stay when we missed the 8pm close the night before. We have always loved coming here. The wait staff are fast, friendly and just sweet as can be. We have never had a bad meal in 4 years. Until tonight. Tonight we ordered our meals: Shrimp cocktail and lump crab appetizer Two ribeyes (cooked medium) The salad and the soup were wonderful and the rolls were hot and fresh. When our steaks came, I noticed that they both seemed a bit over cooked. We cut into several sections including the center and sure enough , barely a hint of pink. My husband's was the same , but he didn't want to wait and send it back. I HATE sending food back, but for a $50 steak I really wanted a medium ribeye. The waitress scooped it up and took it back leaving my side on my plate while she went fora new steak. Only instead, she came back to the table a moment later and said the chef butterflied the steak ( to prove it was medium enough) and she asked me, "so he wants to know if you want it more rare than THAT" It was humiliating. What am I supposed to do with that? To sit there and have someone butterfly a ribeye to demonstrate the inside is pink.. Medium is pink throughout, not pink centerline. And to then humiliate a customer and send the steak back to the table butterflied rather than correct it?? After the waitress, myself and my husband all saw that it was well over medium. I just shut down. I don't want another steak, I don't want to eat. I just went to the bathroom and cried. ( I hate confrontation and absolutely fear public humiliation.) This was both. My steak sat butterflied on the plate and untouched while my husband attempted to eat his dinner. Our waitress along with another apologized profusely. They removed my meal from our bill and sent home a slice of cheesecake, and I cried again in the hotel parking lot over our ruined dinner date. Really a wonderful place. Had the wait time been handled well at all I would easily have given this place a five star. Everyone in my party got steak but me and they all loved it. It should also be mentioned that these people I was with are steak snobs so the fact that everyone loved their food says a lot for this place. I tried the prime rib and it was tasty as hell. I got the salmon and it was really nice. Salmon is an easy thing to overcook so I wasn't really holding my breath on this small town place but it was don't perfect. Well done to this place. WOW..... $55.00 for a steak with arugula salad and the same carrots for a vegetable for years is ridiculous. My husband had soup and over breaded and over cooked shrimp. OUR BILL WAS $145.00 not counting the tip and the food was just ok. When he first moved to Richfield his food was much better. Waitress was awesome and we made sure she got tipped well. "Eric" our waiter was so nice and very attentive - we shared the "Queen Cut" prime rib and it was perfect - HUGE is an understatement and we split it ... the KING must feed a crew! We did the "split" where we split the meat but they gave us our own salad (Eric was so nice he have me Thousand Island AND balsamic - potato's - and veggies. Warm bread too! Sone of the best mashed potato's - GINORMOUS cooked carrots - never had any better, what a treat !!!! Very expensive for so so food and very average ambiance. Felt like I was driving up to a steel fab shop to have my trailer fixed. Maybe that's part of the charm. I don't know. That didn't work for me. The prime rib was good sized. I did share that with my wife and it was plenty. But there's a line item on the menu for an extra $17 if you want to split a plate. We asked about that and they said it's not necessary. That's only if you want a roll, salad and a veggie and then they'll split the entree. They were nice about that but it just seems nit-picky. They seemed careful not to bring us each a separate roll. My daughter got the salmon and it was excellent. Surprisingly excellent. That's why the 3 stars. Sage brush grill The outside is not aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but it's cute inside especially with the Christmas decorations. I believe the steaks are hand-cut and not aged. I don't mind the steaks hand cut if they are and cut correctly. I think the waitress name was Sabrina. Two 16 ounce ribeyes were ordered, the same cut of meat. One was prepared with this blackened seasoning and a blue cheese butter sauce on top. It was Cooked perfectly, the seasoning was great, the blue cheese butter sauce it was a wonderful complement. It really did look like it was a 16 ounce steak. Mine on the other hand, looked more like 10 maybe 12 ounce ribeye. It was much smaller. It wasn't cut very well, it had a very thin side and a thicker side. I ordered it medium rare and it was definitely more medium. I told the waitress that next time when they were cooking the steak, it needs to be the correct temperature because it was so thin and it was more well done then I preferred. Most places ask If they can remake it, or you say something like, sorry about that, can I offer you dessert or even can I take a little bit of your check. None of that was offered. For me it was so overdone that I just asked to take it with me and I gave it to my dog, she likes her steak any temperature. I WOULD go back but next time if they don't do it correctly I will demand a better steak. read more

Our hotel manager recommended this restaurant. It is a hidden gem visited by locals. The menu had many options. I chose the Colossal prawns which were coated by a light batter and fried, baked potato, carrots, rolls, and a salad with house made dressing. It was all great. My husband was impressed with the Chicken Cordon Blue he ordered. He chose the chunky red garlic potatoes, carrots, and salad with house made balsamic vinegar. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a nice layout with good acoustics. We would highly recommend this restaurant and we give it a five star rating. read more

We came here on a Saturday for our Anniversary. We have been here once when we first moved here with the kids and loved it so we decided to have a special date and go all out. We live in a small town now so I'd say this is the fanciest restaurant in the town and in the county so far. We came at opening, shortly after 4pm, so we beat the wait. It was sprinkling that day, I hear they have people wait outside or in their car instead of inside to keep it private inside. It's a nice place, again, moving to a small town, like this, not much alcoholic choices. They have a few wines and canned beers to choose from, very minimal. But they poured our beer in a cold glass for us and our server was very kind and professional. The gentleman was too young to take the order so another woman came to get that order. Now, I did mention we were happy to be there celebrating our wedding anniversary but they didn't do anything special or say anything. I don't know if they do that there, so I was pretty bummed about that.. But now for the food. I have zero complaints. From the fresh dinner rolls to start and salad it was all amazing. That salad was one of the bests I've ever had. Loved the fresh homemade croutons. All of the dishes we had were delicious! The Colossal Prawns, the Filet the mashed potatoes and the veggies, but my fave was my Wild Salmon, Hand Cut & Beer Battered with House Tartar Sauce and it was Fantastic! The fries are homemade they were good.. The batter is so delicious though. The Salmon was really great and I love the lemon how it comes in the seed protector net. They only offer this on Fri & Sat. After traveling all day we were near our destination of Richfield Utah and decided to look for a dinner restaurant. We came across the Sagebrush Grill on the web and decided to try it. We were totally amazed at the cordiality, cheerfulness and attentiveness of all the staff. From being greeted, throughout the meal and after the meal, everyone was absolutely wonderful! That wasn't even the best part - the food was incredible!! The salad ingredients were crisp and tasty, the dressings were especially tasty, the Salmon was fresh, beautifully prepared and presented, and tasted excellent, as did the tartar sauce. Likewise the 14oz. New York Steak. A very generous portion, quite thick, nice and juicy, with excellent seasoning and cooked to perfection. The ambiance was superb, the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the food was awesome. The dinner salad was a great mix of greens and the blue cheese dressing was some of the best I have ever tasted. The blackened ribeye was tender, very flavorful, and cooked to perfection (I always order my steaks rare and it was perfect). And last but not least, the background music was set at a decent level so we did not spend the evening yelling to be heard. I would have rated it at 6 star, but yelp only allows 5 stars. I drove past this building in an industrial park on the outskirts of a small airport in a small town. It did not look like much and my expectations were low even though others had given rave reviews. I thought about driving past. Do not do this to yourself! I was amazed and stunned, in a good way, while eating here! The first sign this might be more than you're expecting happens when you walk in. The decor, lights, and soft music are tastefully chosen. The odors coming from the open, adjoining kitchen smell promising! The menu is a laminated card reminiscent of a cheap pizza place, but then you start to read it... Some options look inviting, but seafood from a small Utah town? Should you take the chance? Firstly, do not miss out on the prawns. The medium-battered, lightly-fried seafood is more reminiscent of lobster tail than shrimp. They are huge! The locally made cocktail sauce is a zesty, fresh, and delicious complement. The prime rib and potato soup is filling, but so delicious with a shredded hard cheese garnish and caramelized onions. The rolls are fresh and fluffy. Do not miss out on their steaks and blue lump crab! This crab is the best I've had since my time in Maryland. Having as a garnish on the fillet medallions is something you must not miss! The crab is moist and without fillers. The steaks are perfectly cooked, whether medium rare or well done (don't blame me, it's my wife), and the fillet mignon is worth the price and then some. This is some of the best steak I have had in Utah- a western state known for good beef. I suspect they source it selected from some of the local cattle ranchers. The other supporting cast, sliced carrots sautéed in butter and the baked potatoes are the perfect complement. Service is friendly and attentive. This town is quite a ways from my home, but I will be coming back if only to eat here again! If you happen to be traveling through Richfield, do not miss this place!
