A small-town eatery that serves a basic lunch menu of burgers, sandwiches, salad, chicken fingers, soups etc. as well as a dinner menu. There's also homemade pie. There weren't many places to eat in the area but this is a solid option. The burger and grilled cheese were pretty good and both came with fries. Prices also reflected the area. Wasn't a fan of the deer head decor in one of the rooms but I'm sure it's more normal in this area. The few customers seemed to be locals. Nice service too, though slightly slow. The music of Daughtry was on a loop. read more

Looked sketchy at first but was alright. Food was really good, service was also pretty good idk what y'all saying in the end other reviews with slow service but it wasn't that bad, only about 20 minutes to get a full order for five people. SLOW service! Took almost an hour to get 2 cheeseburgers. The French fries were the shoestring ones and they tasted like old grease. The waiter acted like we were annoying him. Stopped here for brunch on our way from Bryce Canyon to CO. It was the perfect place to grab a bite! The owner greeted us warmly and was quick to accommodate our dietary needs. I got a vegetarian omelette (an adaptation of the ham and cheese omelette from the menu) and my husband got French toast. Both were hearty and delicious- great fuel for our long day on the road- and very affordable! As a non-white person entering this restaurant, be prepared for some MEAN looks and stare-downs. I was really surprised by the people in Utah coming in from the Eastern Yellowstone entrance toward Zion. There are mostly farmer and locals who do NOT get out and see or experience other types of people with different skin colors or culture for that matter (by choice, maybe). Shortly after entering we saw the animal trophy heads on the wall and the carpeting in the restaurant - I was starting to feel uncomfortable. We were greeted by the host in a "what the hell just walked into my restaurant" type of courtesy *starring at me*. I tried to brush it off, except for the old white guy with his wife across the way just staring me down the whole time. He was so offended by my presence there he could not even swallow his food, and oh yeah, skipped his normal pie he gets. The other old white couple also left with 5 minutes of our arrival. I was so uncomfortable here, I had to walk outside while they were prepping the food, and even got our food to go after 5 hours of driving. The food was okay, got the mushroom swiss burger. It was soggy and not sure if they spit in my food. Not much choice in this part of Utah. There are no fast food restaurants in podunk Utah. Try this restaurant if you want to go back in history 50 years and want to experience racism, otherwise pack your sandwich from Yellowstone. What an experience! read more

This place is one of those diamonds in the rough. From all appearances it doesn't look like much, but the food is very good. The Koosherum Burger is one of the better tasting burgers in the entire state! However two things to be aware of. One, it is a major lunch destination for Atv/Utv riders because it is so near a major off road trail from across the mountains. There are times you can't even get a seat or a parking place because there are so many Utv riders there eating. I can't blame them. it is good food. Two, never go there if you are in a hurry. There is only one cook and he does his best, but sometimes the sheer volume of customers really bogs things down. However the family that owns and operates this business are super nice people, so be polite and patient you will eventually get your food. For me, it's worth the wait. read more

A little oasis after miles and miles of open cattle grazing. Clean and pleasant ambiance in this family-owned business--a place clearly frequented by locals and folks passing through to and from work, and just what I needed after a seedy dining and lodging experience in Otter Creek. The food is great and the service is pleasant. I had a cheeseburger enhanced by finely chopped lettuce tossed in a thousand island type of dressing. Such a cute diner. We stayed in koosharem for several days helping some friends with a little home improvements. We ate at the cafe a few times. The diner is very clean. The cook/owner , Tina, is very friendly and welcoming. We came here for breakfast and we all enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend eating here. read more

The only negative was the meal prep time was lengthy--about 30 minutes for a Kashooram burger dish and a steak plate--and the restaurant wasn't busy. I haven't eaten here since the 1980's. It was FABULOUS then and it was AMAZINGLY FABULOUS today!!!! Everything is homemade, the owner is a great hostess and equally great cook!
