Went back again for a dinner date last month, I'm crazy about the Cast Iron Corn bread! Per usual we tried something different, over the last several times we have been there, everything has been extremely amazing. This time we tried the new Duck platter, I wasn't crazy about it but probably cause I'm not accustomed to it, it was kinda squishy and fatty.. so not really my cup of tea, the Steak Mac was really good and so was the blackened Chicken Salad, it was a lot of food so we left stuffed with left overs! I love the Limeaid and they're one of a kind delicious cake like corn bread.. I will definitely be re-ordering that just to bring home!! Service was really good as usual.. when it comes to seating I kind of wish it felt more private because everyone's kind of in this open space.. I almost wish they had booths. Bad experience. Stopped by for dinner. I understand that waitstaff gets busy and many places are shortstaffed. I was seated and waited for someone to come, but no one did. While I was seated, I watch parties that came in after me that were tended to. Perhaps they were regulars, but it was not cool. After a while, I ended up walking out. read more

Catering service is excellent. Had them cater appetizers for a celebration of life. Everything was delicious. Their chef is wonderful, staff is very professional. Will definitely have them cater again. read more

Crazy disappointed! We made reservations from California two weeks ago, because we planned to be in Richfield Monday night. Our reservations were for 5:30. Doors locked. Guy came from back and said chefs decided on spur of moment to close. 2 other couples waited on the sidewalk. What an epic fail! read more

We're back for dinner. What a treat. We both had the Schnitzel and WOW. Served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes with glazed carrots--a sweet sauce for balance. Sooo good. We're so lucky to have such a great place in our little town. read more

Food is great, service was amazing and the history of the building is beautiful to take in while dining.

We went for a little family gathering. I don't think there is another high end restaurant like Severo for 200 miles around . Not sure how Richfield was blessed with this place but I hope locals get in there and try it. That is all it will take to make them regular customers. And in turn help keep it here . We tried everything from the Pecan Chicken to the Chicken Parm and even the wood fired filet. All were delicious. Butternut squash soup was incredible! My favorite was desert , bread pudding is a must! All this great food for reasonable prices ( SLT or L.A would be double) The ambience of this place is very cool. The building was an old bank and the owners did a great job of setting the scene as a western Cowboy motif. I cannot wait to get back here and have another great experience. read more

It's crazy that there is food this good in Richfield. Everything I've ever had here is amazing, and I've eaten here a ton. Some suggestions are the Meatloaf, the Schnitzel, and the pork loin. For desert the bread pudding is unbelievably good. Joe, the owner, takes such good care of every one of his patrons. He takes pride in his food and restaurant and it shows. The restaurant itself is very nice inside. It's located in a historic building that used to be a bank and they've done an incredible job matching the look and feel to Richfield's rustic roots. read more

I'm writing this review in the hopes that the owner will see it and consider some of the adjustments I'm going to recommend so as to have a better chance of surviving in small town Utah. I have heard that Severo's lunch menu is much more approachable, which I can't speak to. This review will focus on their dinner offerings. The service was all over the place: they didn't ask to refill our water at the table, the entrees weren't brought out all at once so some of us had to wait about 5 min with our food in front of us before everyone was served. However, when our son fell off a chair and hurt himself, the chef made it a point to find my wife, who took our son outside, and offer him some little cookies, which was incredibly kind. To start we were offered complimentary potato chips and dip. The dip was good, but the chips were horrible and tasted heavily of old, rancid oil. A generous, if not disappointing draw. I'd happily pay for the chips and dip as an appetizer if they were cooked fresh to order. For drinks, there is no alcohol currently being offered on the menu but their Brazilian limeade was incredibly good! Next, I ordered 2 "stuffed garlic cheese breads" for the table, which appeared to be a Walmart hoagie roll which was partially sliced with a little bland soft cheese stuffed into the slices. I couldn't really pick up any garlic and at $13 for 4-5 slices, this felt like a money grab. My wife and I also ordered a wedge salad to share. We had just had a wedge salad at Flemings Steakhouse in SLC that was comparably priced so we were more than a little disappointed when we were given a small half a head of Romaine lettuce that had about 3x the amount of dressing on it as necessary. It seems like the restaurant could easily increase the amount of lettuce to make the pricing make sense or decrease the amount of dressing on the salad and lower the price in hopes of selling more. For our mains, I ordered their steak and frites and my wife got the meatloaf. My steak, which was about 8oz, was cooked well but lacked adequate seasoning. It was served with a pan sauce that tasted slightly of Dijon mustard and unsalted butter. The fries were also cooked well but were sweetened for some reason. Overall it was a decent portion and ok meal for the price. My wife's wagyu meatloaf was not very good. The truffle ketchup tasted like truffle oil added to heinz and the wagyu beef was old, which isn't a good thing for a fatty meat like wagyu; the rancid fat reminded us of eating a a cooked from frozen hamburger that had been reheated. I'd recommend the "meatloaf" (which wasn't a loaf at all and very crumbly) be made from a fresh local, beef instead of wagyu. The meatloaf was served with a potato puree, which just wasn't very good. It was lumpy and gloppy, which is why most restaurants don't try to make a puree out of such a starchy vegetable. The flavor of the puree was good. A regular mashed, au gratin or baked potato would be much better. The asparagus was cooked well. Our kids ate the kids mac and cheese meal and it was a good sized portion, the pasta was cooked well and it had tasty house made cheese sauce. One of the better items we tried. As for ambiance, the building is beautiful, the chairs are comfortable, and the rugs throughout the restaurant are filthy. I really liked the elevated frontier theme that the restaurant was going for. All in all, Severo is a decent place to eat that falls short of its ambitious mark. I feel like reducing the novelty and variety on the menu and focusing more on quality and approachability would serve them well for the community they're in! read more

I ordered the beet salad that said online it had goat cheese but they only had feta. My husband ordered the Cubano sandwich which was not good. The pork was not pulled pork it was tough and the pickled onion and pickles did not go well. My husband's sandwich was $15 and my salad that was served on a small salad plate had 4 pieces of beet and 4 pieces of butternut squash was $15. I was shocked. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals. Waitress was a sweet heart. I agree with the rest of the reviews that the pecan crusted chicken might be the best thing on the menu; it's a big serving pounded flat and tender. The salmon was cooked properly (meaning not overcooked). My father is very picky and usually only eats red meat unless held at gunpoint, but he loved the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. read more

A historic building, enjoyed how they retained some of the original bank decor. Tables are laid out in a way to feel comfortable and totally pleased with the music choice and volume level which didn't hinder conversation. The staff was attentive and so pleasant.
