The place was in the same parking lot as the hotel so we thought we would stop and grab a bite for dinner. We waited 15 minutes for the someone to take our order. It wasn't until the guy cleaning found the counter girl (we asked him if anyone was taking orders) so that we could order. I should have taken it as a warning and left unfortunately we didn't. Ordered a couple of chicken baskets, fries, onion rings...normal stuff. It was about as inedible as I've ever been unlucky enough to eat. We were both able to gag down a couple of pieces each ( 4 pieces of chicken came in the basket) and couldn't do another. The fries were not much better and the onion rings were ridiculous. Imagine a medium sized onion cut into in the middle and the ends trimmed off. Taste wise they were decent other than the size which you couldn't put in your mouth which made the experience less than exciting. I don't normally say things like don't waste your money; there are plenty of other places to eat in town. But you'll be better off doing so. The good....there was a lot of cool memorabilia all over the place. Too bad it was all worn out and dirty.

I'm mostly a solo rider, sometimes riding with a small group of friends, and occasionally joining a larger group. Today, I joined the 4th Annual Gut Check Ride, hosted by the Call of Liberty MC in support of the nonprofit United We March. 25 bikes participated! The ride followed the Delta Loop -- Gunnison, Nephi, Delta, Scipio, and back to Gunnison. For me, it was 210 miles of riding! The ride was well planned, well executed, and safe. From what I could tell, everyone had a great time! A big THANK YOU to Paul Harnett and Call of Liberty MC for allowing me to participate. I'm glad I got to be part of it! And, of course... let's not forget LUNCH! ASHTON BURGER BARN & BUTCHER SHOP -- DELTA Great burgers, fries, ice cream, AND a butcher shop! My choice: Cheeseburger -- lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle and cheese. Just the right amount of toppings! Fries -- homestyle, just the way I like them! LEE'S LOCAL VERDICT: Great food.
