Mushroom and Swiss burger. Small order of fries.
Tom S.

Formerly Cliff's Drive in. New management, "but the food hasn't changed" - so sayeth the lady at the counter. Plus side: * Good burger, fries homemade style. (Bacon cheese burger and mushroom and Swiss were the burgers ordered.) * I didn't notice until too late they had special seasoning near the ordering window, which probably would have boosted kinda bland but well-prepared fries. * Pleasant staff. * Kinda fun old-fashioned drive-in vibe. Minus side: * Got the requested ingredients exactly backwards on the bacon burger. (Requested : "no ketchup, mustard, tomato, light lettuce." Received ketchup, mustard, etc. ) * Kinda pricey for the patty size. Worth a visit for sure. Soft-serve ice cream cone looked good.

Excellent salads!!! Worth a stop!! Sandwiches and fries looked awesome as well. We also enjoyed the fried pickles. Servers all helpful. Cool vibe. We sat outside.

Their fries are cut and cooked daily! Perfect amount of crispness and salt! And yummy fry sauce! This was a large! They weren't too greasy!

The food here is amazing! Definitely get the fries! They are fresh and delicious! Our sandwiches were so yummy! Try the fresh lime drinks! Everything we had was great! Worth the stop anytime you are passing through Fillmore! They are closed on Sundays and Mondays though. Staff was friendly.

We stopped in for breakfast, waited 15 minutes to get seated (there were plenty of open tables). When we did get seated, no one came by to take drink orders (the guy who sat us put our menus on the table and just walked away). We had flag down a server (she looked like she regretted every life choice to that point. She never came back. The guy who sat us finally came by to take out drink orders after another 15 minutes. The place was very busy with a que that was long in both wait time and length (hotel guests eat free). The que could see empty tables and in a few cases became visibly upset. Enter Supergirl. She bussed tables, took orders, seated customers, delivered food, and acted as the cashier. She did a great job in the face of an impossible task, all with a smile. The smile remained bright, even in the face of upset and demanding guests. If the manager is reading this, you have a rare and very valuable employee in Lisa. Oh, by the way, the breakfast was very good.

I would love to give it five stars but when you walk in the front door, the cement is quite disgusting. They really need to get somebody over there with a pressure washer and clean. It looks like a lot of people drop their ice cream. We ordered a double burger , sweet potato fries, zucchini strips, and a mini lemon curd shake, and a blueberry shake. The shakes were fantastic., the burger was amazing, the sweet potato fries were good, and my husband thought that the zucchini sticks were awesome. We will definitely be coming back and next time we're gonna try the homemade onion rings, grilled cheese and the fish..

I asked why it was so much higher and she said they don't have the burger I ordered on her register so she had to charge be for an Iceburger then add the charge for bacon. By doing this the price was higher than the price of the Bacon Iceburger. They didn't bother to tell me the price difference when I ordered they just hoped I wouldn't pay attention. Don't advertise a price on your menu if it's not that price. The upside to all of this is the burgers weren't bad.

The food isn't fancy, but it's solid, homemade, and arrives like it means business. You're not here for microgreens--you're here for the kind of meal that sticks to your ribs and your soul. A local band was full-on performing during breakfast, and no one blinked. Just a normal day at the Corral, apparently. The cowboy poet intermissions were a highlight. And yes, there's a thrift store in the basement. Because why wouldn't there be? It's weird, it's warm, it's wonderful. It is spacious inside with large tables and a friendly, welcoming staff. I had a margarita with my lunch; only one though because I was driving. It wasn't strong but was tasty enough. The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. Not a bad place for a rest stop or a reasonable local hang out as well with some decent food.
