It's honestly a shame, because the food can be good when they get it right -- but that almost never happens. And even when it does, the service ruins the entire experience. Every time I've come here, my order has been wrong. The waitresses have refused to fix the mistakes, refused to give me receipts, and worst of all -- one of them stole $20 from my card. I didn't notice until I got home because she flat-out wouldn't give me a receipt, and by then, it was too late to dispute it on the spot. That is theft, plain and simple. There's no excuse for this level of unprofessionalism. It doesn't feel like bad service -- it feels like a scam. No accountability, no transparency, and no interest in resolving anything. Just attitude and silence when you try to question what's going on. If this place had honest staff, it could be a hidden gem. But right now, it's not worth the risk -- good food means nothing if you leave feeling stolen from. read more

Let me start with the food is great! Now as for service and timely manner, that's where the 3 star review comes in. We were the only ones in line at the window and the employee served three cars in the drive thru before us (Those cars got there after we walked up to the window). It then took 15 minutes to serve us our food. We got our shake within the first three minutes of us ordering but 15 minutes for fast food when we are the only customers left seemed a bit much. Overall, I would recommend but make sure you go through the drive thru, even if there is multiple cars in front of you! Also they didn't have corn dogs :( read more

We stopped here in what appeared to be a lunch rush. It's a small building but it was packed. We ordered and stepped back to wait. This little place seemed so chaotic and my first thought was this isn't going to go well. However, the two individuals working handled the sudden rush well. Our order came out decently quickly considering. Everything was fresh, hot, and our order was accurate. We both ordered food and ice cream and it was only $20. Had the pleasure of stopping by the Main Freeze during a recent family vacation. Let's face it nothing better than a hot juicy burger and fries after riding the ATV all day. Unfortunately, it was week two of my diet and yes fate is a cruel bastard. When I drove thru town and first set eyes on this burger palace I knew I had to try it. I am committed to my diet and wanted to stay the course so just skipped breakfast. Opted for an order of fries and shared with my GF which was so satisfying. You can walk up to the window, OR you can stay in your car and go the drive-through (which is little tough to tell, but it is on the north side). Great menu and diner style eating, but the really joy of Main Freeze is the ice cream/malts. They regularly have "not on the menu" items that are special varieties based on availability and season. My advice is do not pass on the special, and just go for it! They have never let me down! read more

Food is always good! In the past I've always given Main Freeze great recommendations to people I meet in the area, about their food! but no more! some of the young millennial staff is rude! BTW: 95% of their staff are between the ages of 17 - 20. I've eaten here an average of 2-3 times a week. After this experience I won't be Eating at Main Freeze again! whenever I've said thank you to any of the people who work there! on occasion I get you're welcome! on other occasions, they don't respond! WOW This speaks volumes! They clearly have an attitude problem with older people like me! I think they only want to help people in their early teens to mid 30s! Case in point: Blond girl with makeup After waiting in line for the two people in Front of Me, who placed their orders! No good deed goes unpunished!: She told both the customers that the person standing behind you (me) had ordered the main freeze burger and I described to them the ingredients! They both asked me later. if they'll bring their orders to them? I replied "yes they'll bring your orders". There were both sitting in the front on wooden bench on the exterior wall adjacent to the the front door, I told them you can get a table and they'll bring the orders to you. They also asked where the men's room was, and I told them. Another good deed goes unpunished! For those of you that are very young and don't understand what this means (No good deed goes unpunished!) it means, when you do something nice for somebody they don't even have the courtesy to say thank you! But they punish you! As you'll read below I was punished! No matter how nice and polite you are to some of the young people that work at Main freeze! they do not want to serve you! They seem to be anti-older people over the age of 40! Like the majority of the millennials in the United States! It's the pervasive attitude; of you owe me and I deserve to get everything I want! I don't have to be polite! I don't have to work hard to get it! 3 older ladies came up to get their ice cream, after they were served their Ice Cream! I stated to the young girl. I'd like to place my order, she stated "I have other customers to take care" of in a rude manor! Then she told the new younger girl to take my order, (because she was angry at me) When I was placing my order Double Cheeseburger $5.75, and a larger Root Beer $1.00 (2pm - 4pm) Large Drinks $1.00), she asked if I wanted a Cherry Coke and I said no I ordered a root beer. she gave me the total, thought she said it was $8.75, after she left to input the order into their cash register 25 Feet Away, I stated " I think you overcharged me". And yes I had to increase my volume level 5-10Db so she could hear me 25ft away! I paid her for my order the total was $6.70 + 3% for using a credit/debit card. A few minutes later I asked the same girl if she could have someone clean up one of dirty tables. (it had a hot dog under the the table on the carpeted floor and lots of bread crumbs! There was fry sauce and other liquids on top of the table! (I did not mention that there was the hot dog and crumbs on the floor!) The same girl with an attitude who refused to take my order, came out looked at table and asked what's dirty? The young manager brought my food, I told her I wanted to place a complaint about the girl who was rude to me! She stated I called my mom Shelly's the owner of Main Freeze" also owns Shelly's (1 -2 miles south) She also stated "You're rude! Your yelling at the young Girl about your order and other girls have stated that I was rude in the past, I you want to continue eating there, you owe them an apology!" She's obviously confused about my increased volume level ! (assertiveness) which is in no way shape or form yelling!! The height of rude customer Service! As she walked away, I stated everything here is one-sided! And she ignored me! Less than one minute later, I left the restaurant very upset without eating my burger and took it with me! As I write this it now cold! I called Shelly's restaurant when I got home to speak with the owner. Was Informed Shelly won't be back in until Thursday and left a message for her to call me about my experience at Main Freeze. read more

Love it, good food and good service. The room is clean and they provide heaters. They also have really good ice cream.

First, they're in Gunnison Utah, not Manti, which is about 15-20 miles north. Second, when I was there I ordered a sundae and large fries. All I got was two scoops of ice cream, a sploch of chocolate syrup and NO fries. And the girl had no idea they sold french fries there...? I don't think I want to go back. read more

They have some of the best ice cream I've ever had. The food is good, too. Very busy at peak times, especially lunch.

The soft serve was creamy and delicious. Some of the best soft serve I have had. I loved the dipped cone. I did not get a chance to try the burgers or sandwiches. There was a large selection of ice cream and meals on the menu. Everything looked great. There was plenty of seating inside and a drive thru. It was a great find! read more
