So glad we stumbled upon this place when stopping by a rest stop. This place was just a few minutes away and just what we were looking for. It does take quite some time to make so if you're able to then I would order ahead. This was a food stand in Filmore Utah, they have a sink if u need to wash your hands and a cute photo stand. The man was so sweet and patient. All our food also came with a few pieces of candy. Now for the food, I don't usually like beans, but these were so good. I loved it, ate every last piece. It was amazing. Must try so I would get a combo, it's worth it. Got the Quesabirria and this was a little messy to eat but so worth it. This was not really spicy for me, but the worker gave us like 10 hot sauces so it was all cool. The Tacos Combo and Crispy Tacos were also good, the crisp does very much satisfy. The burrito was quite large, it was filled to the brim thing was absolutely packed. My favorite was definitely the Quesabirria though, it was just full of flavor and everything tied together so well. This little taco truck in Fillmore was a nice find. When you're not ready to eat in St George or Cedar City but Provo is too far, stop here. The flavors are great. Beans are a little odd (watery, odd texture) but the taste is good. The rice, which I normally leave, was excellent. I had the 3 hard taco plate, one chicken, two beef. Very good. The only complaint was the bottom of the shells were filled with potato so they can save $$$ on the meat. It was very good but be honest about it. Hubs had the chicken enchilada plate and a pork taco, also very good. The salsa on the enchiladas was amazing. Some rickety chairs are provided under a not so shady tree so plan to eat in the car or find a park with some shade. read more

We had really high expectations for this taco truck after reading the previous reviews. One thing that is wrong is that Google has the wrong address, but it's located just down the street so it's not too much of an inconvenience. The carne tacos were decent and the chicken tacos were okay but the tortillas were overcooked and too hard to eat for my son. Don't order the carne asada fries. They were extremely soggy. We asked them if that's how they are cooked and they told us yes, we had to order them extra crispy (like we knew that). Well, I threw it away in front of them and they didn't say anything. Please pick another spot if you can. Not worth the price, nor the drive. 5 star reviews must be for a different food truck. read more

Today, my job took me to Orem, Utah. One of the best things about a road trip is the pit stops. On my way home, we stopped for fuel in Filmore, so I checked Yelp to see where the good food was at. A lot of you Yelpers had good things to say about Tacos Los Panchos, a food truck located near the Sinclair Gas Station. So, naturally, I had to stop and check it out. I was very impressed with the setup and how clean the truck was. We ordered four tacos and two horchatas. The tacos were 10/10, all four. My favorite was the shrimp, which was bursting with flavor and freshness. The corn tacos had a nice crunch to them, which I liked. The horchatas were mid, in my opinion. Thanks to fellow yelpers for this excellent recommendation! We ordered to-go lunch around 2pm due to our dogs in the truck but inside was modern, clean, cool and had ample seating. Granddaughter had the beans, cheese and rice burrito ($6.99) and it was 2 meals for her. Hubby and I shared the pork burrito with green sauce, beans and salad-- plenty for two and think "wet burrito" ($12.99). We ordered the chips and guac- large portion ($6.99) which we enjoyed upon arrival at our campground down the road. Prep time was 10-15 minutes for a delicious lunch! Outside is nothing to appreciate and it seems this was formerly the Best Western restaurant and perhaps still provides breakfast for BW guests before starting lunch and dinner as Ponchos!! read more

The beans were delicious and everything tasted fresh! The service was just ok. We didn't get drinks until midway through the meal. We were excited to try the different salsas but only got one. It was ok but very watery and didn't compliment the beautiful home made chips. This is a great stop for anyone heading south from slc. It's true folks....I was skeptical of trying to find a place in the middle of absolute nowhere, but decided to trust my trusty Yelp reviewers! This did not disappoint! Tacos were heavenly and loaded with meat. I got the shrimp and the chicken and was truly impressed. My man got the chicken burrito and loved it. Staff was friendly, we ordered Togo. Chips were warm and fresh too. The beans were cooked to perfection and not smothered in cheese, the rice was delicious and not full of peas and carrots. We are moving our kiddos up to school in Logan & decided to give this taco truck a try & we all loved it! The people that work there were so kind. The bathroom was so clean! They had a few chairs outside that we sat in & the weather was perfect for these Arizonans. My son got the Carne Asada Quesadilla. It was huge & the tortilla was so tasty & perfectly crispy. My hubby got 3 tacos & all the meats were excellent! I got the red cheese enchiladas. By far the tastiest enchilada! It wasn't oozing in sauce, it was perfect & the red sauce was excellent. Stop looking for other places to eat in Fillmore, or along this stretch of I-15. You've found it. Tacos Los Panchos is unbelievably good. I'm from San Diego, so I've eaten more than my fair share of excellent burritos and tacos. This spot blows most of those out of the water, even my beloved Rico's taco shop in Encinitas, CA. This isn't a sit-down restaurant. It's a food truck, in a permanent location. We stopped here for dinner on our way into town, just staying one night on the way to Moab. I had one chicken taco and one carne asada taco, and while the chicken was very good, I think the beef was the best carne asada I've ever eaten. Perfectly flavored, small pieces of beef with great browning, all around just incredible. These are small street-style tacos, double corn tortillas browned on the griddle so the edges are crisp but they still fold easily. Served with lime & your choice of salsas: tomatillo salsa was on the mild-medium spectrum, great flavor; red salsa is spicy (my spouse loved it!); and the avocado salsa is cool and refreshing (I think it's avocado and lime) with a little bit of heat. Delicious! We came back on our way out of town the next morning, and I got the carne asada burrito. It was also exceptional. Meat, cheese, rice, cilantro and onions, fresh tortilla, piping hot. Vegetarian options are pretty limited, and I didn't ask if the rice, beans, and tortilla are made with lard. Honestly I don't want to know (I don't eat pork). But if you eat meat and like Mexican food, this is 100% the place to eat in Fillmore. You won't regret it. Hours online say it's open until 7pm, but posted hours on the truck say 10am - 8pm. Going here for years when heading back to SLC from the south. Friendly family run business. You can call as you you are driving up and they will have it ready for you when you arrive.
