This place definitely deserves a higher rating than what it currently has! Personally, my husband and I had a 5-star experience. We stopped to stay the night in Beaver at the Best Western Paradise and the front desk gave us a voucher for a free cheese curd appetizer or cheesecake and two vouchers for free breakfast at the Crazy Cow Cafe located in the same parking lot as the hotel. We rolled over for dinner and the place was packed, especially considering it was a Sunday evening. We had maybe a 10-15 min wait but they filtered everyone through pretty quickly. All of the staff were extremely friendly--several waiters took care of us and helped each other out by making sure drinks were always filled, orders were taken, and food was delivered to all the tables so no one was waiting on anything while it was so busy. The food was EXCELLENT! We got the cheese curd appetizer with ranch and marinara (free with our voucher), full rack of ribs with FOUR sides (my husband got salad, cornbread with honey butter, baked beans, and the baked potato), and I got the French dip sandwich with fries (don't forget to add provolone). Everything was absolutely delicious--we literally ate everything on our plates and did not have any leftovers. My husband was SO STOKED on these ribs. The meat fell right off the bone. They have a seriously good-looking dessert menu! Pies, fried Oreos, butter cakes, milkshakes, ice cream, and the list goes on. At the time, we didn't have room for dessert because we eaten so much food for our dinner--but after walking back to our hotel room, we couldn't stop thinking about the butter cake so we ended up walking back after our dinner had settled and ordered dessert. I am SO GLAD we did because the butter cake with caramel ice cream was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Like INSANELY GOOD! I'm still drooling just thinking about it. We travel through Utah pretty often so we will definitely be adding the crazy cow cafe as a pit stop on our drive through from now on! read more

I have driven past Crazy Cow a dozen times but I hadn't ever heard anything about it. I'm happy to report that it is quiet, delicious, and quaint. The interior is adorable and filled to the brim with cow-themed decor and souvenirs. My family was seated quickly and we ordered. There was something for everyone!! The waitress was super kind and attentive. Our food came out quickly and everything was correct. The burger and onion petals were my favorite thing - not my girls loved the noodles and butter and the fun shaped tater tots. I can't wait to go back and try this place again soon!! read more

Service was just okay, that's only because they appeared to be short staffed. Took a while to get seated and served. The decor was really cute! See photos! The gift shop was a disappointment. I really wanted to like this place especially when I read their story and touting their beef but it was mediocre at best. We both had hamburgers and the meat was mediocre. Everything was warmed not hot. So it didn't seem freshly cooked. The Pattie's were warm but pretty flavorless. This included the tater tots and the sweet potato fries. Great food at a great price. Stopped on the way home from Salt Lake City. It's located in a small town, but definitely one of the better options off of the 15. This restaurant is so charming. The cow theme continues from the gift shop entrance onto the menu. Cute cow-themed drink (soda) options. The chicken fingers in their signature sticky sauce were wonderful. We stayed at Best Western Paradise Inn which was in the same parking lot as Crazy Cow Cafe. They offered complementary breakfast (restaurant continental breakfast menu) with our stay. We went there for breakfast and it was really good! We decided to have dinner there as well, and the hotel gave us a voucher for complementary dessert if we were to have dinner there, which we didn't end up using because we were very full from the yummy food we ordered. Hubby got the open face prime rib sandwich, french fries, creamy potato soup, and corn bread, and I ordered the sticky chicken fingers salad with ranch dressing. Everything we ordered was super yummy. All waiters and waitresses were extremely friendly, and the decoration was over the top cow focused lol. Their menu also features a script from Stephen King's book, Billy Summers, which featured the Crazy Cow Cafe. If you're ever in Beaver Utah, you should check out this place. read more

My husband had "the special" (pictured below) "Open Faced Roast Beef Sandwich, Homemade Vegetable Beef Noodle Soup", I had a good ole fashion Hamburger with fries. The food was great. Here's the best,it's about the waitress, named, Caitlyn. She was so courteous, efficient, good-humored and very attentive. We order from the specialty drink list. My husband ordered a drink called "Sunshine." it had orange juice, lemonade, and a touch of vanilla and it was really good, but we couldn't figure out what it reminded us of. We finally decided it was an Orange Julius. So it started a whole conversation about, the original "Orange Julius" made with a raw egg. Caitlyn engaged with a very amusing conversation. We stayed at the Best Western paradise inn next door and they provided one item free to dine in this Crazy cow cafe. The staff of the restaurant wasn't friendly and considerate. We had the dinner the night we stayed and when serving the food, a part of the food fell off the plate and landed on the table, the waitress just said "oops" and expected we to take it. We looked at each other for a few seconds and then she just asked "do you want me to bring you another one?" OF COURSE!!!! Then she took the fell piece and left. We didn't even know if she just brought us back the same one!?! We found no spoon among the utensils. The waitress brought us our dessert without any utensils to eat with. And I asked some spoons for dessert, another waiter just put spoons on the table without placing them with a napkin. How do we know whether their table is clean? For the breakfast, we decided not to dine in since the experience the night before and there is no non-pork option, therefore we ordered "to go". Stopped in on a late Sunday night while traveling from Colorado to Utah. Ordered a Chinese chicken salad and wings and they were fine. Went out to my RV and found someone had tried to break into it. Being unsuccessful after scratching up the driver's door and pillar, they pulled out a black marker and tagged the driver's door. Pretty darn good for small town home cooking. We actually stayed at the nearby best western because of the good yelp reviews for Crazy cow--there are not that many dinner choices in Beaver. They share the same parking lot and BW gives you an appetizer and breakfast vouchers for crazy cow. For dinner we had the free cheese curd app--good, split a 1/2 rack of ribs (very good)--meaty, lean, tender; also 3 fried shrimp--(lg and juicy) as well as a salad-(simple), sweet potato fries--solid; and a loaded baked potato--good toppings but I wish tater was hotter. service was friendly and efficient.
