We have been meaning to come here for years and finally had the chance early on a Friday night. Go early enough and enjoy the Happy Hour!! Save room though. The food is great and there's a lot of it! As it was our first time there we got a couple baskets of appetizers, a Catfish Po Boy Sandwich, and a basket of crawfish and chips. As excellent as all of this way, we did it wrong. Get the boil. We were the only table to not get the silver bowls filled with corn, potatoes, and seafood. Get. The. Boil. This restaurant is known for it's seafood boils, offer great prices on the seafood, and often run a special on pounds of a certain kind. Get the boil. We've talked to a few friends and will be back to tackle those silver bowls filled with hot and steamy goodness (also the fried pickles though because they were too good to skip).

Love coming here whenever I get a craving for solid seafood boil. The staff are always super friendly and we love joking around with them. We were seated immediately and able to think about ordering as soon as we walked in. We ordered that week's special: 3 pounds of crawfish. We also added a few pounds of clams to go with that. Got it 3 stars with the house sauce. The crawfish were decent size and had great spice and flavor. The clams were also delicious but about 1/4 of them were closed.

They came back better than ever! Fresh seafood, great service as always, and great appetizers and drinks! I ordered 2 lbs of pacific crawfish and their dungie crab deal that was going for $25 a crab. The crawfish was sooo fresh! And some of them had roe in it. Their house sauce is like no other house sauce in WA! The customer service was great as usual. I can't wait to come back!

Pros: they know how to make awesome seafood boil! Good quality seafood. Tango sauce is a must try! Cons: no reservation so wait can be long at times. It's worth the wait though! Parking can be tricky since there are many restaurants nearby.

This place was great! We got 2lbs of snow crab, and 1lb of shrimp with potatoes and the original house sauce. I think all of it was delicious, and we would definitely go again! Plenty of food for 2 people. The service was a bit slow, but friendly.

Craving seafood boil? Crawfish house is a pretty solid spot to satisfy those cravings! The clams and crawfish was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well. My mouth is still watering thinking about how flavorful everything was. I was really impressed by the service here. Our server was not only attentive to us but also super funny! It made my bestie and i first time here a great one. Also! If you're like me and hate getting your hands dirty, this place offers you good quality gloves to keep them clean. So if you haven't checked this place out yet.... RUN, don't walk!

One of my favorite place to go to in Seattle. Super friendly service, I always enjoy my time there! Staff is always friendly, we love to joke around with them. Love coming here for my seafood boil fix. We got seated right away but depending on the day, it can get busy. Lively environment with sports on the tv. We got 1 lb crab, 1 lb shrimp and 1lb crawfish with corn and sausage. House sauce 3 star spice.

I haven't found an amazing seafood boil place yet so I do think Crawfish House may be one of the best around Seattle, but it wasn't that spectacular. I'm not sure why, but seafood boil around here hasn't quite wow'd me despite our vicinity to the waters and having amazing fish and clam chowder. Service is solid though, I'll give them that. We were recommended the tango sauce by a friend but our waiter insisted the house sauce was way better and the tango was "sour" and persuaded us to opt for the house sauce. Honestly, the sauce didn't impress and was a large pool of oil at the bottom of our boil. Dipping was alright, but it wasn't spread well to showoff the spices to our taste buds, overall the sauce was underwhelming and greasy. For spice levels, we asked for 3* but it was really mild, something near a 1.5* and also underwhelming. Began with some appetizers too, we ordered at happy hour where the prices should be cheaper, but weren't discounted. Honestly, it was whatever and the appetizers were standard. Opted for the cajun fries and onion rings, both weren't surprising and nothing bad to report. 4 pounds of seafood total: both crawfish options, snow crab, and shrimp. Louisiana Red Crawfish - sweeter crawfish like they mention, but small in size. Not overly sweet or anything, not that you'd expect that, but tasty. Pacific (Signal) Crawfish - seasonal crawfish that's larger, looks more intimidating, and meatier. I liked this one more, it felt more efficient as I got more meat for similar effort and it tasted fine, wasn't bad or anything just less sweet. Snow Crab - my personal favorite, but I love crab so there's some bias. Very easy to get the meat out and they're great sizes as well, being crab legs. Shrimp - these were probably the worst tasting option here. They tasted "like the sea" and had sand in them. The only pro was that they're easy to peel and eat, but shrimp is better anywhere else. Also got French bread, dipping in the sauce was alright but once again, the sauce wasn't anything special. It was mostly like tasting bread with olive oil on top, maybe our sauce was skimping on the special spices. Tagged on some potatoes and sausages with the order - potatoes are nice and tender. Sausages are juicy, but they are small slices

Came in on a Wednesday evening we were one of 3 parties. So it was pretty dead Ambiance: 3.5/5 lots of seating, music was kinda loud and played a bunch of cover songs of the top hit 100's which I thought was kinda weird. They also played a cover of league of legends music. Uhh? Anyway it wasn't too loud to where I couldn't have a conversation but if this place was packed I can imagine it being a little harder to have hear conversations between people. Service: 5/5 friendly! Got seated immediately they Checked in on us twice which was really all we needed since we were busy grubbin on the food. Food: - Fried cat fish basket: 5/5 love the breading on the fried catfish ! It was crispy and hot when it came out. The fries were crispy and thin with cajun seasoning exactly how I like it. - The seafood boil: 3.8/5 Got the House sauce (garlic, butter, lCajun seasoning ) with 1lb snow crab 1lb shrimp 2corn/2 potatoes ($2.50) I feel like the shrimp was defrosted prior to being seafood boiled. Didn't taste too fresh but boy they were HUGE "golf" shrimp is what they were serving. The snow crab was enough to fill me up! They came with a pair of scissors which was odd cause I'm used to nut crackers to crack the snow crab legs, but it still helped. The amount I got including the cat fish basket was totally enough. I wished I could have asked for more Cajun seasoning. Didn't have a WOW experience But overall, not bad if you're looking for a place to fill ur seafood boil!

I tried this place in 2019. We ordered takeout on the 4th of July and said we'd go back to try it again but this time dine in. The food is decent. I stick to the catfish because I'm leery about crawfish. I tried it with etoufee this time, which was too thick and bland. The tan fries were my favorite on the menu and I enjoyed the fried gizzards. My partner and her friend tried the crawfish. They said it was pretty tasty. It can get pretty loud and busy since they don't open until two. They rush around you to take orders and drop off food but they in no way rush you to eat. There is a lot of space between tables and you might have to walk up so the counter for your check because you once you get your food they don't really come back to the table. The parking in that area is terrible. You either won't find a spot or have to back into a space on the middle of the street. It might create some anxiety for some people. The locals are used to it. All-in-all. It was okay. Not terrible just okay. The boils are the best thing to try.

Yes

Does anyone know if they're done remodeling? Don't want to make another 1hr drive just to find out they've been closed

Any dairy free options?

Not that I know of, but I am sure you can figure something out. My fiancé eats food from there and she is lactose intolerant.

We tried calling and messaging on FB, but I have a friend who is allergic to gluten (celiac disease). Is she able to have boiled crawfish (Louie style)?

Do they have gluten free options?

Mostly no gluten free items. I think you'd have to stick with the crawfish only.

Are the prices fair and is it good?

The prices are definitely fair and the food is fantastic! If you like fried oysters, they are the BEST! The Entree baskets with fried seafood and French fries are about $8. I love the oysters, softshell crab, and shrimp. The boils are more expensive… Read more

So when I woke up still craving shellfish, RockCreek was the call. It was the right one. A dozen oysters to start: Kumamoto and Shigoku. Clean -- no grit, no sand. Whatever they're doing back there, it's working. The brine was full and present in every shell, and the mignonette hit that rare sweet spot of light but actually seasoned. The Winter Old Fashioned? Get it. It was so delicious. Then came the crab Benedict. The side salad alone was worth writing home about -- big, buttery, peppery leaves draped in one of those feather-light vinaigrettes that sounds simple until you try to replicate it at home and realize you can't. But the real star of the entire plate was the potatoes. Crispy outside, genuinely fluffy inside, seasoned with conviction. A masterpiece is not too strong a word. Closed with a glass of pink wine. Was eyeing the bottle with the piglet on the label, but it was bottle-only -- a distinction I find increasingly arbitrary as a former server and bartender. One day that policy will be a relic. Not yet, apparently. Best brunch I've had in Seattle in two years. Highly recommend.

We ordered some of our go-tos -- hamachi crudo, tuna tartare, and calamari -- and everything was spot on. The vinegar dill fries are exceptional: thin, super crispy, and loaded with seasoning (honestly hard to stop eating). We also tried the loaded fish sandwich and the cornmeal-battered lingcod -- both solid choices. Spicy margarita lived up to its name with a nice kick. It was pretty dead when we arrived around 5pm, with only one other larger table seated, which made for a relaxed, easygoing happy hour. Always a dependable spot when you're craving seafood done right.

When we arrived, just after they opened, we were the third party in the restaurant. The atrium was really cute. It had a glass chandelier, great decor, and a view of Alki Beach. Our waiter brought us some water and we both decided to order the quiche (daily special was spinach, mushroom and goat cheese) along with a cup of clam chowder. Being that the restaurant was kind of empty, it took a while for our food to arrive. Unfortunately, the chowder was tepid at best and quiche was ice cold. I flagged the waiter down and as he took away our plates, he made a comment about the oven not being set correctly, which I thought was a bit odd. To me, it seemed as if our food may have been waiting a while to get picked up. Nevertheless, our food returned shortly thereafter piping hot. The chowder was delicious, definitely one of the tastiest I've had in Seattle. I found the quiche to be lacking in flavor and then noticed that there were no salt or pepper shakers on any of the tables, which I also thought was a bit odd. After we had finished eating, the waiter asked my friend if she wanted a box for her quiche. When he returned with the box, he did not clear our dishes or ask if we were ready for our check. I had to flag him down to ask for it. I noticed they added a $3 service fee to the bill, not quite sure what that was about, as the food was already a bit pricier than other restaurants in the area and there were issues with our food. I guess it's for the beach view? Overall, this was a decent meal, but I just don't get what all the hype is about.
