Recently they revamp the place and converted to a buffet style restaurant. It's fairly new so they didn't have all the labels for the food choices and kept running out of snow crab. We went on a Sunday it was $39.99 pp. Wasn't worth the price. However, it's generating lots of foot traffic. So be humble as they figure out the kinks. One recommendation is to have bowls instead of just plates to create a boil experience. Limited staff but they are good at making you feel welcome and provide good service.

The seafood at Happy Crab was "ok", but definitely not close to the best crab boil I've had. Everything was edible and decent, just nothing that really stood out flavor-wise. The atmosphere was fine as well, nothing special but not uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the worst part of the experience was right when I walked in. I was informed that there's a 20% service charge for dining in, plus an additional 3% fee for paying with a card, which felt excessive. The waitress herself was very nice and did a good job, so no complaints there. Still, paying almost $200 for a "decent" crab boil after all the extra charges is hard to justify, especially for most folks in the economy that we're now surviving in. If the food were outstanding, it might feel different but as it stands, the value just isn't there for me. I'll give Happy Crab 3 Stars

This was such a nice surprise. We were around and looking for something to try. We got stocked because train stopped so we had to go all the way so we could cross. We made it at the end :) Easy to park as yhe have their own lot. Pretty big space. I don't know if it was early but it was just a couple of tables. Staff was helpful and friendly. They took our order and came back fast. It liked that they add more flavour and spices to the combo than in other places in Seattle. It was a nice difference. Their clam chowder was pretty good too. I wouldn't have guess this would be such a nice visit. I will definitely try them again :) little ones liked their lobsters dolls at the entrance.

No wait when I visited. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They have robot waiters which is wild to me. The food is REALLY delicious. I enjoyed my meal and will visit again if I am ever in the area!

    Paid too much!

Very disappointed in the quality of the seafood at the Auburn, WA location. The seafood was not cooked with any seasonings at all, everything appears to have been boiled in plain water eariler , then left out to get cold! I've had more flavorful hospital meals! There were plenty of seasoned butters to dip with, but with the seafood was not seasoned! The side dish's were lukewarm (no steaming trays) at best and looked like they were left out from lunch time! No fresh food was replaced during my entire 90 minutes I was there from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. I didn't feel like the $88.00 I payed for two was worth the value. I would not waste my time eating there again. Update after the owners response 2 hours later: I did see the other side with the prepared food that looked like it was out since lunch time and it was not fresh or hot! I will not return, you didn't offer a discount or anything to make up for the poor quality. I don't accept the excuse of blaming the new cook for your issues. Isn't there a process in place by management for the employees to follow...business 101. You throw your employees under the bus, instead of taking ownership of the issues.

This is the second time we've been here, the first was during their soft opening so we gave them a pass. However, they've been open for a number of months and quite frankly it simply is not worth the money. We were seated immediately and brought waters. The gentleman came back to get our drink order and then asked if we were ready to order. We were not so he left and literally never came back. Finally one of the other servers came and asked if everything was ok and she took our order. We ordered one of the combos which came with shrimp, a piece of lobster, snow crab, sausage, very overdone corn on the cob and a couple of potatoes. The sauce was supposed to be garlic butter, didn't taste like that. In the middle of the seafood was a huge piece of what they said was house made noodle. Which would have been find but it was this enormous piece that needed to be cut in order to eat it and the only eating utensil was a plastic fork. When you pay that much you should get real silver ware. We also ordered a sweet and sour cucumber salad which was good and asked for a side of garlic bread which was soggy in the middle and didn't taste much like garlic. They do give you bibs, which I advise you to use, and a towel to wipe the grease at the end. However, the food just wasn't all that great and we figure two times was all we were going to give them.

I am so glad this restaurant has opened!!! We now have a place to get crawfish in Auburn!! Ok, with that being said, everything was just ok. The service was quick and efficient with their hand held ordering device and a little robot that follows the servers around delivering food and drinks. Restaurant was very clean. Food was reasonably priced. They charge for an extra side of sauce ($12 for an 8oz container). The timeliness of our food coming out to our table was horrendously long. We ordered 2 fry baskets (chicken tender and chicken nuggets) and 1lb of crawfish. It took over 45 minutes. At least everything came out hot. We might consider coming back just for convenience.

I came to lunch at Happy Crab yesterday. This location was where the legendary Sun Break Cafe was. It was about $22.00 for lunch. The first thing I was told when I walked in was there no seafood on lunch buffet. I felt like turning around and leaving but I stayed. The lunch buffet was pretty average if not below. There are certainly other Asian Buffets around that are better. I was given a list of 4 or 5 things on the dinner buffet - snow crab crayfish. The price for dinner on somedays was more than double what lunch was. There isn't enough there to get me back. I wish them luck.

Came here for dinner with some friends. Clean place with friendly staff. I ordered Cajun Fries and a pound of green mussels in the House Sauce - Mala at extra hot spice level, and added the Fresh Hand-Pulled Noodles. Their Cajun Fries tasted just like the frozen bag of curly fries you get at the grocery store. Didn't have any cajun flavor. I would have liked it if it was hot, if not, at least warm. Our food all came at different times. Some food came out hot, some warm, and some neither. My mussels in the House Sauce was decent, but it wasn't spicy for being extra hot. And I liked the hand-pulled noodles in it. I felt like they did give a good amount of potatoes and sausages, if you like those little sides.

Their snow crab in their medium spicy sauce was super flavor and great value at $19. Add the sausage noodles and they complimented great. Not many people inside. Remodeled and clean but could definitely benefit from some good word of mouth.

Feeling Right with scallops added, but they forgot my potatoes and corn.

Overall experience was great. Price is reasonable specially when there's plenty of options with food especially the crabs.

I think they usually mostly cater to lunch customers because they closed at 6 PM. I asked the employee what the most popular sandwiches were and she told me it was definitely the crispy chicken bacon banh mi. We ordered that and a spicy pork shrimp banh mi. Both were excellent! I really liked the bacon one more and my partner really preferred the pork shrimp one more so it worked out. Both were a 10/10!!! Crispy fresh fluffy bread. Not stale at all. And about $35 for both sandwiches and a can of Coke. Beware that crispy chicken will cut up the roof of your mouth though. It was worth every bite!! And they were so big that I could only eat half. Saved the other half for the next day and it was just as delicious. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town and it's not too late.

My favorites are the Thai chili shrimp & pork bao and their spicy torched shrimp & pork rice. Their portions are generous and they do not skimp on the meat. The only criticism I have is that the bao bun does start to fall apart getting soaked with the juices from the meat and sauces. Food is usually ready within 5-10 minutes. A very casual spot to grab a meal with ample amount of seating if you choose to dine in. There is some parking directly in front of the store but there is more towards the back. Definitely recommend this spot!

This market is smaller than its competitor in Tacoma, but we found it well-stocked and organized, as evidenced by its bright, airy, and friendly staffed atmosphere. Our biggest dissatisfaction was with their ready-made meals--unbeknownst to us until we reached the checkout area, we learned that à la carte items are priced by weight. Normally, in other Filipino markets that offer ready-made entrees, a la carte items are priced by container size (S, M, L) rather than by weight. In essence, they were expensive meals to swallow (no pun intended). Secondly, most of what we purchased lacked flavor and content. For example, the pork sinigang was not sour enough, and the pork belly lacked substance because most were very fatty rather than meaty. The large container also had more liquid/soup than meat and veggies. Moreover, the chicken and pork barbecue were subpar, again lacking taste--exactly the opposite of how they looked while cooking on the grill. The pork sisig was probably our 'good' buy at best, although at a whopping $32.00+ for a large a la carte. We also purchased empanadas, puto bong bong, and taho at the bakery. Price and taste-wise, they were okay, but nothing to write home about. Across the board, my next trip would be to try out Max Chicken and peruse other specialty items. Otherwise, I would probably return to the grocery section to buy ingredients, cook, and enjoy a more flavorful meal at home.

Turns out it's the former, at least in atmosphere. The service was genuinely lovely from start to finish. The host, server, and table assistants were warm and attentive. No notes there. We went with the ribeye prix fixe, which felt like the obvious call given that Ms. Jane's has built its reputation around it. The menu included a salad, two ribeyes with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and dessert for $150 plus wine. The salad was beautiful and delicious. It just could've used some cheese, and I will die on that hill. The mashed potatoes were legitimately outstanding and nearly redeemed the entire evening on their own. The broccoli was fine. Broccoli is always just fine. Then there were the ribeyes. They were enormous, beautifully presented, and unfortunately not much else. Both cuts had an excessive amount of fat and lacked the depth of flavor you'd expect from a restaurant that's staked its identity on this one dish. We make better steaks at home, which is not something you want to be thinking about after dropping $150 before wine. Dessert closed things out on a high note. A chocolate and vanilla mousse topped with genuinely delicate whipped cream. In the moment we told ourselves we'd come back and try something else. A few days of reflection later, that enthusiasm cooled but it didn't disappear entirely. The service was too good, the mashed potatoes too memorable, and the mousse too solid to write the place off completely. Ms. Jane's clearly has something going on. We just hope the ribeye isn't the thing they're most proud of.
