That's how…read morethis place stood out for me amongst other printing/shipping business, especially well known chain companies that just treat you like a number vs a person. So a week ago, I stopped by to mail an important letter and buy one stamp. This was my first place and found it as it was right next to the NiBrow salon where I had an appointment. But that day the weather was crazy. It started pouring rain and the day was just gloomy that this business lost Internet connection when I was there and was unable to purchase my 60 cent stamp. I forgot the name of the gal and gentlemen, could have been the owners, but they were so kind and understanding that she went ahead and gifted me the stamp. It meant so much to me! I told her I would go back and purchase an entire book stamp. I love supporting small businesses, specially when they place great value and Customer Care. The service requested was above and beyond. The employee informed me the next person with a scheduled appointment was not coming in for another 40 minutes and that I would have to wait an additional 5 minutes after that to see if they were a no-show before she could see me. My original appointment happened to be another 10 minutes after that. I told her was perfectly fine and that I understood and that I would see them at my appointed time. As I was leaving, another employee made a sarcastic comment about people needing to stick to their appointment times instead of asking to be seen early. I had simply asked a question and immediately accepted the answer. The comment was unnecessary and left me with the impression that customers are viewed as inconveniences rather than people seeking assistance.
