I found the unit to be reasonably clean and the motion sensing automatic light inside the unit is bright enough to see everything as I got organized and locked up. This location is now under new management--and that management is Heather and Chantelle. That's important to know, because their leadership and dedication completely transform the experience here. They aren't just showing up for a paycheck--they clearly care about doing their jobs well, and it shows in how they treat every customer. There was a glitch in the system with my reservation (through no fault of theirs or mine), and it took extra time to sort out. But instead of brushing it off or getting frustrated, they handled it with total professionalism, patience, and kindness. They went out of their way to make sure everything was resolved properly and that I felt supported the entire time. They made what could have been a stressful situation into a positive one. More importantly, they made me feel like a valued human being--not just a transaction. Heather and Chantelle are raising the bar for what customer service should look like. Very disappointing experience, especially because I've used this U-Haul location multiple times…read morebefore. About 30 minutes before closing, the location looked completely shut down, to the point my wife and I genuinely thought everyone had already left. A few minutes later, an employee with a large beard came outside already seeming irritated and mumbling under his breath. He told me where he wanted the trailer parked, but after I put it where he directed me, I couldn't get my truck out. I was simply trying to understand what he wanted me to do, so I called over, "Boss, I still can't get out of here." He immediately started yelling at me instead of just walking over and explaining how he wanted me to maneuver the truck. The situation got heated, and I apologized for my part in that. Unfortunately, even after I apologized, he continued being confrontational and repeatedly told me, "I work here. I do this every day," which had nothing to do with the fact that I was simply trying to understand how I was supposed to get my truck out. I've been a repeat customer at this location, but after this interaction, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Management should seriously address the way this employee communicates with customers because the entire situation was completely unnecessary and could have been handled professionally from the beginning.

Only once have I had someone come down the lane I was in while dropping off some stuff. I backed out, which wasn't hard. This place is right by Clinton Lake.
