They came out to do a free quote for my kitchen remodel and after telling me I would need to redo my entire kitchen and that they wouldn't save any of my old solid wood cabinets, they left giving me a ballpark of $30,000.00-35,000.00+ I then asked for an itemized quote hoping to use them for some of the higher level items. Not only have we almost completely redone the kitchen for a very small fraction of that price, but I never did get the quote. With them it's appearantly all or nothing. Just completed a full kitchen remodel. Adrian and his team were amazing. He quoted us 30 days to full completion if all materials were available due to Covid and the full ports. Well he delivered! Most was installed in first 2 weeks. We replaced a slider door with a single door, extended the kitchen, added a peninsula, all new cabinets, countertops, backsplash, hardware and new faucet. Adrian and his team were super nice, honest and easy to work with. We changed and added a few things throughout as the project went along and he was always willing to meet us and have his team fix, add or change anything to make us happy. PROS: -My kitchen turned out beautiful, finally. -My design, my choice of finishes. -Adrian is a nice guy, easy going. CONS: -Long painful process. Adrian said he could complete the project in 3 weeks, but it took over 3 months. Started beginning of Oct., completed it Mid Jan. -I was told he would have workers everyday, that he only took on one project at a time. There were many days that they didn't show up. -The workers were slow and repeatedly made mistakes, installed cabinets then removed them due to poor installation or wrong placement, etc. -I told Adrian exactly what I wanted before starting the project, I even provided drawings. He provided a bid, which I accepted. Then at the end of the project he added on over $10,000. He said it was for additions, but I didn't add or change anything. I believe he didn't included it in the initial bid to keep it low so I would sign on. -The bid did not include: sink, faucet, garbage disposer, door pulls, backsplash, marble counter, appliances, hood, hood cover, corbels, or painting the crown moulding that he removed and replaced. Two of my neighbors, with my same floorpan, just got their kitchens gutted and completely remodeled and both were completed in less than 3 weeks. read more

I used Craftsmen Construction in the Spring of 2017 and loved the results. I requested numerous bids and ended up choosing Craftsmen based on Yelp reviews and pictures of their work on Yelp. It was a gamble that paid off well. Scope of work: Craftsmen updated 2 bathrooms, designed and created a 3rd bathroom, laid new flooring, installed recessed lighting in the living room and kitchen, new baseboards throughout the house, painted kitchen cabinets, changed all bedroom sliding closet doors, installed custom French doors and appliances. Adrian's design eye was great and it's clear he takes real pride in doing a quality job. Loretta was detailed with itemized proposals and invoicing. She was responsive and also proactive in seeking best pricing for supplies. Loretta sourced flooring online that was 60% of the price at a 'discount' outlet. Aris and team were knowledgable, always early to the site, worked very hard, with top quality results, and were always mindful in cleaning up after each day of work. The base price for the project, as well as my add-ons along the way were all reasonable, especially considering the quality of work. Adrian and team were great working around my schedule. Best part is that they guarantee their work - even after the project was completed. As example, I asked Adrian to adjust chandelier placement and the height of a custom bench they built and Craftsman did so promptly and at no additional charge. Craftsmen Construction worked on my last home and on my current home - I've been very happy with the results. Projects included bathroom remodels (major work redesigning the space entirely: moving plumbing / walls / replacing windows, and of course all the fitting / tiling / decorating); a kitchen remodel; refurbishing a fireplace; lighting and electrical; plaster; flooring.... you name it, we've pretty much done it! HGTV has a lot to answer for... as a result (like many of us) I have champagne taste and all too frequently a beer budget! Adrian keeps me on track, prioritizing the things that will give me the best 'bang for the buck', really helping me think through how I want to use the space, and coming up with creative ideas that have solved many challenges in my rather quirky home. Eric and his team put in all new plumbling in our home that we recently purchased. The plumber Robert is good at what he does. My only concern with the plumbing was that I had to ask Eric several times to fix the drain in the tub because the water would not drain. It took my husband to speak with him for him to finaly have Robert look at it and sure enough Robert agreed it should have been done when the plumbing was done, but Eric kept saying it wasn't a plumbing problem. We had them do several things to our home including remodeling our shower, which came out very nice except for some broken glass mosaic tiles. The tile guy had all of his equipment in our front yard. After it was all said and done I had noticed that the pathway leading to our front door was white. Our pathway along with the driveway is stamped and stained cement in which the tile guy ruined with whatever product he was using. When I mentioned it to Eric he instantly said his guy did not do it. I told him no one else had worked on our home and that even my realtor had made a comment when we first went to look at the house "that the pathway is starting to fade." I told Eric I could get the previous owner and visitors I had over to prove that the pathway and side of driveway was not white before he started working on our home. Eric said "no its ok, I will talk to Adrian and we'll come over and come up with a solution." Instead two weeks later I get an email from the office person showing me a picture of the inspection report that the driveway and pathway were already like that. How unprofessional is that. Of course I got angry and when I spoke to Eric I reminded him of what he said he was going to do and instead did something else. Here it is almost three months later and Eric still hasn't called me regarding the issue. So even though he is good at saying "call me if there is a problem and we will come over and fix it" his words are meaningless. We also had the tub reglazed and whatever you do don't use them, the guy did a terrible job. He also left our window open after my husband told him to make sure he closed it because we weren't staying at the house yet. Eric had to have his guys come three times to fix all of the wholes in the walls cause Eric did not point them out the first time or second. We have several more projects that need to be done, but I will not be using Eric!! read more

Called to get a quote on a very simple construction project at my moms home. They told me the only day they would come out to give me a quote would be Wednesday. I told them I have to work and asked them if they were available on ANY Monday or Friday. They said they are not available on any Monday or Friday and Wednesday was the only day. What company is only available one day a week for quote? Obviously not the one I'm going to use. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

The team over at Craftsmen Construction were outstanding! I brought them in to do some repairs to my 2nd floor where my floor was squeaking and moving pretty bad. They came in, took up my hardwood floor, took up my poorly installed sub-floor, secured all the joists & cross-beams, ensured that everything was nice & tight and installed a new floor for me; all in one day. I hired Adrian with Craftsmen Construction back in September 2015, and my project started in November. I had quite a big project, it took about 6 weeks to complete. I had a whole kitchen remodel, a bathroom, whole hose painted, a fireplace mantle, all doors changed and some water damage I had on my living room ceiling and floor damage from a water leak. I also had my pantry re-done with an addition of new shelves. Adrian was great to work with along with his entire crew, Daniel, Julian, Aris. I love how my entire house looks now and the job well done by the Craftsmen Construction team. The bid was very competitive, I had about 4 bids but I really like Adrian and his bid and pricing was very good. As always in construction there is always a little bit of a delay and some items that are unpredictable. But Adrian and his team took care of some old electrical job that was not done correctly previously. Adrian and his crew also fixed it for me. Craftsmen gutted and reconstructed my 1960's built condo into a gorgeous living area. All the guys were great but a huge shout out to Anthelmo who is a precise and talented tile craftsman.
