I was visiting a friend and we decided to try somewhere new for dinner. A fun dog, friendly restaurant and bar to check out. They have a lovely patio area that allows dogs. They also bring your dog a bowl of water and there is a dog menu. Their staff were all very friendly. The cocktail list was extensive as well as their tap beers. All the cocktails we got were really good and not overly sweet. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My friends got the bacon burger, Mac daddy sando, bourbon chicken with mashed potatoes and the pork Mac and cheese. I got the Cuban sandwich with fries. The fries were a little underdone for my liking but they had good flavor. The sandwich was good but needed a little more sauce and then it was perfect. The portion sizes were huge and we all took a to go box. Definitely recommend checking them out. They also have trivia one night a week and then live music every other night. Really enjoyed this place. The customer service is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere gives the local lively vibe. A place you can go with family, friends, dates, buddies or just by yourself and have a great time. They have a great beer selection and menus and large. I love the 4 season section. The only positive feedback that I have is that our server was great. The food was awful- like so bad that I thought we were being punk'd. I guess another positive would be how quickly the food came out but my guess is that it had been sitting in the back waiting for someone to order it before we even got there. Our drinks weren't any better. My husband had one drink of his draft beer and about gagged and the lime in my drink was mostly brown. The atmosphere was fine, I guess, but our table was so sticky that I honestly wanted to leave as soon as we got there. I really don't like to give bad reviews, but we're in town for the LIV golf tournament and chose this place because it has 4/5 stars. Hopefully, I can save others from that trap. Our party of six went there the afternoon of July 4th. They were one of the very few places open that day. Each couple ordered an appetizer that was shared by all of us. The artichoke dip was the hit at our table. I had the cobb salad which was way more than I needed and exceeded my expectations. Everyone else commented on how good their food was. A special surprise on Tuesday's is all beer and wine is $5 for a 20oz brewski and a glass of wine. Great place and we'll be back. read more

Soooooo good. We will be returning! Their signature salad was amazing: spinach, goat cheese, cranberries, candied bacon with a poppyseed dressing. I split the (pulled pork, bacon, buffalo) mac and cheese with my mom and that was definitely the right choice -- huge portions! But amazing food, nothing bad I could say about it. The drinks were fun and affordable for cocktails these days too, only like $9 or so for super fresh and delicious drinks! The outdoor seating was very pleasant too, definitely get a table outside if the weather is good. This was the fastest service I have ever experienced at a restaurant too! Update ( again ): It's been a rollercoaster with Craft'd. I was contacted by the owner from our last visit, and I must say he was the most professional owner we have encountered. For that they get 5 stars. However, when we went back the Cluck Yeah chicken sandwich was still not up to par. MUCH smaller and not crispy either. I talked with the manager about it and he will be addressing it at the next meeting. He seemed genuine. I really hope they go back to the old chicken preparation. Went there on a Thursday afternoon; after lunch time. Service was sparse and extremely slow. Not from being busy but seemed somewhat unorganized. Tried the Uncommon Burger. Listed as "dry rubbed with coffee". I'm a coffee addict and was super excited, but oddly I didn't detect any coffee flavor at all. Upgraded the side to sweet potato fries. They arrived not warm at all, and almost cold status. Service was so slow already, I didn't want to waste the time waiting for the waitress so I could complain. So I just ate the burger, left the fries on the plate, paid & left. I'll stick with some better restaurants I'm familiar with nearby in the future. read more

Went here for the first time on Saturday. Eight of my friends and I wanted to grab some food before going on a tour of the Joliet Prison . The tour was at 7:00 so we got there @5 thinking that's plenty of time to eat. When we got there there weren't a lot of people and we got seated right away. Our waitress took our drink order and asked us what we wanted for appetizers. Five of us have her our appetizer and dinner order at the same time . She got to one of my friends and told her she would be back to take her food order bc she needs to give another table drinks.?!? Our appetizers came out pretty quick so I had high hopes of getting to the tour on time .... Spoke too soon !! It was over an hour and we still didn't get our food . Mind you there were now more people coming in and getting their food, which annoys the hell out of me !!! We questioned our waitress, who got very defensive, so my guess was she didn't put our food order in when she was suppose to bc she didn't come back to take the other half of the tables order till later . She said they were behind , again , everyone else seemed to be getting their food so not sure where the problem was! I get that if you have an appointment or need to be somewhere, maybe go thru McDonald's lol but thinking an hour and 45 min should be enough time to eat isn't a lot to ask . It was about 6:30, and hour and a half after we got there and still no food !!! We talked to the manager and explained what had happened and of our food is close to being ready we need it wrapped up to go. If it's not ready , cancel it ! He wrapped up all our food and took care of the entire bill , which was super nice of him and we appreciated it . Sucked we didn't get to eat dinner and all of us were starving by the time we finished our tour. My husband and I got home and wanted to taste our food . We got wings and the turkey burger. The wings were over done and the turkey burger had ZERO taste . I was super excited to try it bc it came with raspberry mustard. Nope couldn't even taste it , its like they literally took the turkey meat , didn't season in and slapped it on the grill . Awful . Our friend agreed , her wings were over done as well . I wanted to like it - I really did. I mean, who wants to NOT like stuff? Went in as a trio on a recent Sunday night and the service was about as bad as it gets. I'm not sure what our server's issue was, but she could not remember anything. I'm not embellishing, we asked for napkins 3 times and they never came. We had to get our food runner to bring some, which was the highlight of the evening. We asked our server for a beer menu and she brought ONE. Hi, table of 3. We asked for a food menu and her eyes rolled to the back of her head, popped out of her ears, then crawled back into her eye sockets as she dragged her feet to fetch the menus. We ended up splitting a few appetizers: the beef roll thing was good, basically an egg roll but take everything out and put a beef sandwich in there. The candy bacon was cold - definitely not made anytime recently. And the nacho platter was just sad. Toppings were visibly sparse and we all agreed they were pretty horrible overall. So.. yah.. no. We'd just had the most amazing experience with Chop'd and decided we had to try out sister restaurant Craft'd. I was weirdly craving a salad and my husband was weirdly craving tater tots, and I was certain one of us was going to end up disappointed. But Craft'd came through! I got their incredible chopped candy Cobb, full of eggs, candied bacon, blue cheese crumbles - it was everything I wanted in a salad - a little refreshingly green, and a little naughty. I subbed out their pesto ranch for blue cheese, and it was perfect. The husband got the bacon burger on a potato bun and it was beautiful - two patties, tons of cheddar and bacon - and accompanied by TOTS! Even though we got delivery, they arrived still hot and crispy, super well seasoned, a total winner. This is a place we will definitely order from again and again! read more

I stopped here while in the area for work and ate at the bar. The Pig Candy BLT was good, though very messy. I also got a side of the sriracha ranch as a dip for my sweet potato fries - I wouldn't go out of my way to get that sauce again; it was fine, but definitely more ranch than sriracha, at least for the batch I had. The bartenders were nice but service was a little slow - it was a Monday night so the place was pretty busy with people watching football, so that may have contributed. YESSS! Finally a sports pub and restaurant near me that has a variety of beer AND unique fare! Appetizers are where it's at. Here's a rundown of my favs: Cheese Curds Brilliant! A bit oily, but worth every greasy bite. Poutine The combination of smoked pork shoulder + queso +a bit of jalapeño was a hit for everyone in my family! This plate was wiped clean before we let it be taken away. Wings As a self proclaimed wing aficionado, I feel it's a bit strong to suggest the title "badass wings", but they're a solid effort. I believe they've recently removed Fireball sauce and there's nothing with any decent heat to replace it (IMHO). When I asked, however, they said they could still make the fireball sauce. I'm thinking I may try the Merkt's Creamy with some fries or tots next time. We haven't tried many entrees yet, but the two I've had were decent: Brat Burger Great concept and description on the menu, but the meal itself didn't live up to what I thought it'd be. Might just be high expectations on my part. Smoked Meatloaf Solid meatloaf, but the star of the dish was the chipotle ketchup. Great level of spice for me and hits a comfort food home run. After three visits, I can safely say Craft'd is in the top three local places I'd consider for a night out with family and friends. You best stop by! read more

What drew me to this place, besides being local to me was its lengthy drink menu, lol. The menu looked pretty dang good too, heavy of the "pork candy" everywhere, which is cool. We had intended to order a appetizer to share and then dinner but we didn't make it past the appetizers because they are freaking ginormous! The nachos we ordered were decent but because I typically find something in any given situation I would suggest they add either cilantro or jalapeños or some sort of greenery to brighten up the color scheme on this dish. Great service great atmosphere. Prices are very high. I decided to get a 2 foot Philly and was a little disappointed. The flavor was there and the meat was decent. Having actual Wiz cheese sauce made all the difference of what most Philly cheesesteaks in this area are missing. The problem is the sandwich is $29 and when it came out it was definitely lacking in the meat quantity department. My mom and I love crafted. Mainly for their huge pretzel! But I also have to get the Chicago beef rolls every time I come! So good, and the sauce that comes with them is amazing. The burgers are definitely the way to go as well. The wings, my husband likes but some of the sauces, I didn't care for. I also was not a fan of the smoked chicken artichoke dip, I think many because it was very different and not what I was expecting.
